- Thomas (6/5): - Leider war unser Zimmer das wir bekommen haben nicht gereinigt, nach der Reklamation gab man uns zwei höherwertige Zimmer zur Ansicht, von denen eines leider auch nicht gereinigt war. Die Hotelausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was ja eigentlich kein Problem darstellt, doch Flecken auf Sofas oder Stühlen müssen meiner Meinung nach trotzdem nicht sein. Für den ausgerufenen Betrag hatte ich schon deutlich bessere Unterkünfte.

- Lisa (8/5): - We liked the location, part of the old city. Parking was nearby but gravel path was difficult for suitcases, better to bring small suitcases. Check in and check out was easy, staff are very friendly. Wished for a kettle or coffee machine and /or fridge in the room. Room was hot but staff brought us an extra fan to help. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Wifi disconnected often, had to reconnect. Tub/shower was a big step to get in, not recommended for seniors. We enjoyed the ambiance and architecture in the area. Thank you for a great stay!
- Marcus (10/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt - Sehr schönes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Das Essen im Restaurant ist empfehlenswert, die Zimmer sauber und schön (meines war im Herrenhaus). Der Service sehr gut und ich werde definitiv bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder Gast im Danielshof sein.

- Alexander (8/5): Insgesamt in Ordnung; Preis/Leistung passte nicht - Schönes historisches Haus mit sehr nettem Personal. Leider waren überall im Zimmer & Bad noch Hinterlassenschaften vom vorherigen Gast zu finden. Das muss besser sein! Auch der Fernseher war auf die Entfernung viel zu klein. Das Frühstück war mit frischen Brötchen gut; allerdings fehlte mir etwas aufgeschnittenes Obst. Allerdings gab es Äpfel und Kiwis in einem Korb präsentiert. Insgesamt war das EZ für 120€ inklusive Frühstück trotz der schönen Anlage viel zu hoch.

- Angelika (10/5): Tolles Ambiente - Ein schöner alter Hof ausgebaut zu einem tollen Hotel. Sehr schick, obwohl die Zimmer etwas antiquiert wirken. Aber das Ambiente ist klasse. Die Stadt Alt-Kaster ist absolut sehenswert. Das einzige was nicht stimmt: es werden Bilder mit einem Pool gezeigt, das Hotel hat keinen Pool. Aber wir werden gerne wiederkommen!!!

Wenn man etwas verbessern wollte, könnte man das Bad erneuern und eine nicht ganz so harte Matratze ins Bett packen, aber das ist Mäkeln auf echt hohem Niveau.
- Michael (10/5): room with a wooooooo - In an area where there are few hotels, it is a touristic area with a nice village and castle. Apparently there was a werewolf in the 15c. The hotel is historic (stables for the castle maybe) and i stayed in the tower. the rooms are basic but clean and very quiet. It is a good base if you are coming from Benelux going to the Rhine as it is close to the main route.

- Stefan (10/5): Ein kleines Geheimnis - Hotel und Restaurant sowie umliegende Gebäude im einem Top gepflegten Zustand. Erste Eindruck vom Parkplatz auf dem Weg zu Hotel romantisch in einem Park gelegen. Einchecken effizient und sehr freundlich. Abendessen war gut. Die Weinempfehlung des Service Personals sollte man unbedingt verfolgen, sie versuchen nicht einen teuren Wein zu verkaufen sondern empfehlen gute Weine aus der näheren Umgebung. Die Preise für edlere Weine sind eher sehr günstig und das Personal bemühte sich in jeder Hinsicht mit Erfolg einen zufrieden zu stellen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, im Stil etwas einfach gehalten im Vergleich zum gesamten Umfeld. Das Hotel war sehr leicht von der Autobahn zu finden. Das Frühstück kostete und € 6.00 pro Person und war extrem grosszügig, wohlschmeckend und von guter Qualität. Ich habe schon häufig den 5 fachen Preis gezahlt und nicht eine solche Qualität und Auswahl erhalten. Preis / Leistung - wir werden wieder dort übernachten sofern es uns nach Köln oder Grossraum Köln zieht.
