The floors were heated which was pretty neat. There were plenty of supplies throughout the cottage. The location is also very nice. The grounds needs cleaning up, meaning lawn mowing, trimming of bushes, and plant some veggies in the garden, place flower plants around in the multiple empty pots (they have a little red flag stuck in them?) also, consider replacing some of the porch furniture, because some pieces are a little run down. Jason (8/5): - The cabin settings are great, I stayed in a one-bed which happened to be attached to another unit where the other customers adjacent enjoyed getting up at 5am with heavy feet and having conversations across the room. The other issue is the Tao Cabin has dedicated parking in front of it but another customer preferred to park there with his large work truck and block it off daily with no consideration for others.

Gregg (10/5): - We loved our stay in the cottage. My wife now wants me to build one just like it somewhere. Big enough to not feel cramped, but not too big to where it becomes expensive. The screened patio was enjoyable, we ate dinner and breakfast there. The AC worked great and was very comfortable inside!

Grace (2/5): - Look and listen please!!! I really enjoyed the photos and reviews for this place so I was taken back ALOT when we arrived. There was no front desk person to check us in and we needed a code to enter our cabin. I called several times and it sounded like someone was aswerinfg but I could not hear them well? My partner finally got ahold of someone who gave us the code. THE PLACE WAS NOT VENTILATED AT ALL. We were sweating so bad. We had to strip down naked and that still was not enough. We were standing in the shower and running the cold water. The AC was pumping out warm air but the device said it was pumping out 64 degree air (yeah right). The messaged them over the app but truthfully we could not stay there, even for one night. The next day around the artfernoon they called me back and stated that they put an extra AC in the room while we were gone. The lady on the phone was hostile about it and hung up after telling us this. Also if we were still there would they have just let themself into our place??? My partner and I are asian and he told me that he got ALOT of stares when he went to pick up a pizza from their local shop. Turns out reviews and reddit state that this town is very r*cist and have a lot of car break ins. This town is only known for a Bigfoot sighting I guess??? Also the WIFI is slow but they seems very minor compared to the rest of the stay. Just posting this to help someone, even if its one person!!!

Ron (4/5): Disappointing - Sewer system backup into shower. Making room smell very badly. Loose nozzles on hot water to tub causing a flooded floor. Looking at reviews and this same issue was reported a month ago and apparently nothing was done.

Ashley (10/5): I love everything about my stay. We needed a relaxing trip and that is exactly what we got! - Very quiet, awesome restaurants in walking distance. In Bigfoot capital. The Bigfoot museum was closed during the season but they had someone open up just for us to look around. We were told amazing Bigfoot stories. There is a near by park walking distance for the children. The heated floor in the cottage was amazing especially during the colder mornings. I would definitely come back and recommend the stay. My child left her Bigfoot stuffed animal at the cottage when we checked out and we did not realize it until we were an hour away. The staff is going to ship the stuffed animal to my house!
Tina (8/5): Very good - Bathroom is very nice, well equipped and spacious. All in all a cozy place with a comfortable bed. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom.. Also, the price per night is way too high for this location and the size of the cottage. Door didn’t close/lock easily.

Alexander (7/5): Gorgeous and peaceful. - Gorgeous location. Quiet. Morning view of mountains. WiFi hit and miss. Would have liked to have seen the staff. Not from the area, so felt in need of a friendly face. Perhaps this was all part of the isolationist appeal of the place? If you want no fuss, no hassle, in-and-out service: Coho Cottages is the one.
Sonam (6/5): Pleasant and secluded but need some structural changes for rains. - Property and location was good. It was secluded which is what I liked. However, it’s probably not meant for rainy season. We couldn’t use the Porch and grilling machine due to open roof on patio. It also became difficult to keep the sliding door open due to rains. No proper doormats made it difficult to go in and out with our dog. Had to wipe feet uncomfortably before entering as the space between the bed and door was small.

Elisabeth (9/5): Superb - Beautiful room with private deck overlooking woods. Maintenance person (Big Dog) was super friendly and helpful. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. Very clean and modern. Amazing rain shower. I had to wait for a while when I rang the doorbell for the Manager to come online then call the Maintenance person who came to show me to my cabin. If you come late, I advise coordinating how you will get in in advance.

Attention to detail - coffee, creamer, salt and pepper, grill utensils. It was a great layout and incredibly comfortable for our 3 adults. It was even nicer than the pics! I can't think of anything.

Screened in porch with ceiling fan and bbq are practical wonderful features. The “summer house” which we stayed in was clean and cozy with comfortable beds and furniture complemented by charming cottage decor. Walking distance to neighborhood market. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints

Kapil (5/5): Electricity outage ruined stay in nice cozy cottage with super helpful staff - very helpful staff, when i booked then in hurry i booked a single queen bed cottage and on realizing after reaching at property they helped me to upgrade it to 2 bed cottage. Location is great among mountains and near grocery store. Cottage is charming and very clean. Adequate kitchen utensils along with grill. Unfortunately electricity went out around 9.30 pm and came back at 6 am in morning when temp were around 40-42 F in April end in rainy night. With 5 year old kid that was too uncomfortable to spent that light. Staff was helpful and they offered to shift to some other place but my daughter was already asleep and at that time ETA for electricity to come back was 2 AM though it came back at 6 AM. That electricity outage made our trip too unpleasant.
Polly (8/5): - The cottage was really cute. I would have rated the property 5 star except for a couple of issues that made it not a great value. The property seemed to have just opened for the season, so maybe that's why it wasn't ready for prime time. 1) the kitchen area is not really a kitchen and isn't well stocked. There is only a very small toaster oven and a microwave. There is a gas grill with a burner which could be used for cooking. There are some plates, a couple of bowls, only 2 forks, no serving bowls, no cutting board . . . There were only two of us, so we made do. 2) the gas grill had not been cleaned in some time. Only one side would light and a grease fire broke out on the interior. I didn't notice until our steaks got extra crispy. 3) The screen porch cushions could use a good cleaning 4) the tv screen has a weird shadow 5) There was a flower pot outside by the screen door with unsightly grass growing in it. Remove the pot or plant something in it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but feel like it didn't live up to the potential.

Trinity (8/5): Cozy cottage stay in a beautiful little town. - This was a last minute booking we made as we had been driving 11+ hours and needed a place to sleep. The small town these cottages are located in is quaint and beautiful and the small strip of bars/restaurants are within walking distance of the cabin. The grounds were clean, and the decent sized room was inviting (lights and music were left on for our arrival). The little porch with the grill was nice too even though we weren’t able to use it. It was pouring rain during our stay, but I would love to see this area when the weather is better! I booked this 2-3 hours before arrival. We didn’t have much service so I wasn’t able to receive a phone call they made with check in instructions… of course I was worried the whole way there. No one was there when we arrived and I had no instructions so panic set in as it was dark and rainy. There was a phone number left on the office door so I called it a couple of times and someone talked me through check in. My only suggestion would be to maybe email or text instructions for people who are out of service and can’t receive phone calls. I got a confirmation email with some information, but no checkin instructions with code, etc. There was some dust on the furniture, but I’m pretty picky.

David (7/5): Nice cabin for a quiet stay - The cabin was excellent, although older than it appears in the photograph. Especially the bathroom was excellent, beds were comfortable. The porch is nice and protected from insects. Quite peaceful (although there is road noise outside). Close to local restaurants and supermarkets. Check in worked well with code on the door. WiFi was OK (if a little affected by fires we suspect sometimes). The cooking facilities were a microwave and a barbecue that didn't work well, ran out of fuel and wasn't replaced. Becaue the staff are rarely on site, that isn't ideal.

Lisa (10/5): - We stayed in the Promontory cabin and was so pleasantly surprised at how modern, clean and well appointed it was! It was over 100 when we arrived and opened the door to an air conditioned cabin with some easy listening music! The patio was perfect with the day bed and chairs! The shower and tub were luxurious… nothing was spared in creating this cabin! I would have stayed longer had I known how beautiful it was! By far the most comfortable bed of all our hotel stays this vacation! Thank you so much for making our stay special and comfortable! The communication with the hostess was amazing also! 5 of 5 stars from us and we will be back but for longer!!!

We loved sitting out on the covered porch where we played games in the evening & enjoyed sipping our caffeine & enjoying the beauty in the morning. BRIAN (6/5): Sleepless night - This is a very quaint property overlooking a little river. The cottage was clean inside but needs a little more attention on the outside. July and there are still leaves all over the deck and the patio furniture looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a long while. We were extremely disappointed as the AC wasn’t working and it was 85 degrees outside and probably 95 inside. The bed was hard as a rock, a piece of plywood would have been just as comfortable.

Good sitting area at the patio deck. I was here in town for work but enjoyed my stay as a vacation. So my wife and I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will return soon. As soon we checked in the room, the soft jazz music was playing, but I love country music.

Pablo (8/5): This is a lovely, comfortable, collection of cottages in a garden setting. - We enjoyed the peaceful setting among the trees, grass, and garden. Our unit was comfortable and quiet. Our particular unit, though comfortable, did not have an enclosed porch, nor was it a separate unit. It is attached to another building. The kitchenette is functional. However, it lacks a hot plate. We were made use, instead, of the side burner in the barbecue on the small porch.

Karen (10/5): - We were surprised by what a cute, well maintained cottage it was. Very nice and upscale in a little town that you wouldn't expect to find this. We love the screened in patio that puts you "outside" with all the comforts of being inside. The bed and bedding were very comfortable with nice linens. The little kitchenette had everything you need. The knotty pine vaulted. ceiling with skylights were such a nice touch. The floors are hard wood and the fireplace had a nice mantle. The bathroom was also large and upscale. Just to top it off, there was direct tv and a DVD player. If it wasn't so far from home, we'd make this a regular get away.
