Nya (8/5): - I loved the room and it was so comfortable! I love the quiet area and the sunsets were also beautiful! The maintenance man that came to help us one morning was super nice! The walks around the area were quiet and nice as well. The spiders were definitely something I was not expecting. It was a little scary and I also was not expecting it to be so hard to get an uber to the place we were going that was just down the street. It was also a little hard to get a hold of the front desk, we kept having to call the after hours line.
Jennifer (10/5): Breathtaking views with quiet and comfort. - The view was breathtaking. We loved the bed and the quiet after a long drive. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were just passing through but would love to come back. Nothing could have been better. Everything was perfect. I wish they had a hot tub rather than a fire pit overlooking the mountains but that's not a dislike just something that would have made it even better.

Tina (9/5): Very delightful place to stay we are definitely going back, but we will either stay upstairs or in a separate building. - It’s in a beautiful area on the mountain. The young lady that checked us in was so helpful polite and sweet. She assured us if we needed anything just let her know. The bed was comfortable. The room was great. The only bad thing I can say about the facility, is you if you’re a light sleeper asked for a room upstairs because you can hear people walking back-and-forth. We were in a bottom room and you could hear people walking heavily back-and-forth up the stairs.

Roy Y. (10/5): Very quiet and comfortable stay with a view! - We stayed at the log cabin suite during Christmas day and loved the Xmas decorations around the property. The log suite was very clean and comfortable. Hiking nearby and parking is free. A mini bar is available on site during happy hour. A pet friendly environment. Overall, I highly recommend this property for a fun outdoorsy vacation. N/A

Kevin (7/5): Nice place, not sure if we would return. Comfort is important. - Very nice, clean, sheets smelled yummy. Rustic. There are NO means to adjust the temperature in our room. It was a chilly night. We prefer no heat or air but the heat blasted all night. We did not sleep well at all.

Downstairs room nice and quiet. The bed in the little cabin is a bit high and not very comfortable. It sounded like to was a bug or something underneath or around the bed. The other rooms did not have this problem.

Victor (4/5): Would not stay again. - The location was good. They gave you one towel and washcloth each for a week stay. The temperature in the room was not controllable. It was way too hot at night.
Julie (10/5): We will be back!❤️ - I felt like I was back in middle school away at Girl Scout camp. The whole area is so cute and extremely clean and the staff was wonderful and even walked us to our little cabin. We will visit again. The only thing I could suggest would be to have a bedside table on both sides of the bed, I know room is tricky, but that would’ve been really helpful as well. Really no complaints though.

Richard (10/5): - Very nice staff! There was a glitch in the phone number when we tried to assist a guest checking in late. A person was there but the phone cinnection didn't work. She gave us an alternate number. Everything worked out just fine in the end.
Angelina (10/5): - This was the most peacefully hillside property. My room was very spacious, well appointed and I loved the gorgeous claw foot tub with a view of the GA mountains. Jaime, the property manager was so nice, she greeted me, gave me a HH wine tasting (free for each guest) and got the fire pit going for me to sit out and enjoy a lovely fall evening. I would definitely stay here again if coming up to Dahlonega or to visit the nearby wineries.

Talley (8/5): Barefoot Hills is beautiful. The rooms/cabins need upgrades to justify the price - Beautiful views, Jamie is great. Attached photo is from our deck. Was not made aware of the dehumidifier. When we arrived, the water was leaking on the floor. It filled up 3 times in the short amount of time we were there. When I made the reservation I asked for 2 beds. Our room had 1 bed and a pull out couch that was a thin mattress of coils that couldn’t be slept on.

Felicia (10/5): The absolute peaceful outdoor stay that I needed!!!! - The property and staff exceeded my expectations. All together it was an absolute amazing stay. I definitely will be returning. I was looking for a secluded stay and this was over what I expected. My storage container was the cutest thing ever, my porch and table provided me the peace I needed to just sit out, the common area that had the fire life pit and swing to sit and look out was amazing!!! I highly recommend anyone come and stay here.

The treak up to the rooms were kinda strenuous but if ur in good shape it should be easy. Showers was hot and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Will be returning soon! Only downside was the little hike up to the rooms but not their fault! It is in the woods
Ilya (9/5): Good stay - Polite and helpful staff. Clean linens. Board games provided in the room. Air condition. A lot of small towels. Chairs outside next to the entrance door. Located reasonable distance from Dagloheda and also very close to both Woody gap trailhead and mountain crossing for Appalachian trail hike lovers. Internet one day works stable. The other day falls down every 30-60 seconds. The staff did all the best to help but looks like the technical issues result in this instability during peak hours.

Michael (1/5): Noisy trash..stay away!!!! - Bed was comfortable Shower was about to fall through the floor, coffee pot didn't work, window shades didn't fit and you could see into the cabin, outside string lights stayed on all night making it hard to sleep. But all of that pales in comparison to the obnoxious noise of the road right behind the cabin of constant motorcycles riding past. Don't waste your money on this trash.

It would be great to have an umbrella at the table and chairs on the balcony of the deluxe eco cabin so that we could have sat out in the rain. Other travellers might like to know that there is a "kitchen" but no cooking facilities in the cabin. There is a fridge and a coffee maker.
Jasmin (10/5): Wonderful Experience - Everything!! The guy who worked there was super friendly! The place was extremely clean!! We slept so dang good there! And it was absolutely beautiful! The view was amazing! If we ever come back to Georgia this is definitely where we wanna stay again. I highly recommend this place, great price for great facilities ans a clean cozy stay! My husband and I had such a great time here. They also offer some beers and wine for those who like it! We loved it all! No bad reviews here.

I would have liked to be able to control the temperature in the room. Upon arrival with the walking from the car to the room it was warm and it took a bit for me to get comfortable. Then the next morning it was very warm while getting ready for work.

Kira (9/5): Overall a beautiful weekend getaway, we would definitely stay again. - The property was gorgeous. Beautiful views. The cabin had everything we needed, including Netflix and other accounts so we didn't have to worry about signing in. The staff was also super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Only about 10 minutes from downtown Dahlonega. The shower leaked a bit onto the bathroom floor and the space heaters were a bit difficult to figure out. Not a huge deal in either case.

The bed was comfortable to sleep in but the edges of the bed frame were a little sharp when getting out of bed. Wonderful views and amenities for the price!
