• Louise (10/5): Easy comfortable no hassle stay - Close to the seafront, shops and restaurants etc. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice size bathroom, beds very comfortable and our room was lovely and quiet as requested. Breakfast was varied with fresh fruit, yogurts, croissants and jams. Toast and a few hot options were available and every kind of cereal you could wish for. There was a kitchen available to use as well as washing machines, dryer and an iron. Also there was a games room free to use at any time. I have no complaints at all, easy no hassle stay. Thanks John and team ❤️ Nothing negative to say.

We highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Newquay. - The room accommodation was very nice and the breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of items freshly prepared. John is a gracious and welcoming host. We enjoyed our conversations with him very much. Everything was to our liking.

The place offered interesting facilities that gave it a homely air and was perfectly clean. The breakfast on offer was marvellous. Just needed a better mattress on both the beds. Don't think we could have managed a long stay.

• taylor (9/5): would definitely return next time we are in need for a place to stay in cornwall - the location was in the ideal spot, away from the busy town center that it was a peaceful stay but close enough to walk to where we wanted to go. the breakfast that was provided was also delicious and the staff were very friendly the only issue we felt we had was a lack of channels on the tv to watch when we were in the room at night haha

• Stephen (8/5): The hotel was clean, good value for money, a great guest kitchen facility, and friendly staff. - Breakfast was a self-service buffet with cooked, a more continental style, or mix and match between them both. The cooked option were Sausages, baked beans, and scrabbled egg. While the continental involved fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereals, etc..take what you want, and find a table. Tea, and coffee were also available. What I didn't like was the people in room above ours. The man stomped his way around in the middle of the night, for two of our stay. I was genuinely thinking about complaining, and I sure the staff would have been receptive to my complaint as they were very friendly, but those guests seemed to go home early as I saw them in the lobby with their luggage. Maybe others complained!, I was just glad they were gone.

The breakfast included in the stay was superb, parking space included as well was great we managed to park for the whole time 3 nights on our stay. I love the recreation/lounge area and the fridge where you can put your food for lunch or dinner. Overall it was a great stay.

Lovely stay. Door banging, but that's more about disrespectful guests than the accommodation.

• Sifat (5/5): Not recommended!! - This property is in a good location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The main issue with the property is the extremely narrow space. The corridor is so tight that two people cannot walk side by side. The rooms are also very small—I booked a standard double, but it felt much smaller than expected. The facilities provided in the room were very basic. Housekeeping was disappointing. The dirty bedsheets were not changed, and the toilet wasn’t cleaned after service. I even had to leave a note asking them to clean the bathroom the next day. We stayed in Room H, which is located at the very end of the building. To reach it, you have to pass through six doors and climb two steps, making it inconvenient—especially when carrying luggage. Breakfast was repetitive with little variation; we had the same items every day for five days. Adding some variety, such as hash browns or other options, would improve the experience. Honestly, I thought I had booked a hotel, but it turned out to be just a bed and breakfast. Had I known earlier, I would have chosen a guesthouse instead.
