- Anne Marie (10/5): Wunderschöner Palazzo, rundum zu empfehlen! - Der Besitzer ist äußerst zuvorkommend, wir bekamen sofort Empfehlungen für Restaurants und ausreichend Material für Ausflüge etc. Die Zimmer sind groß, das Ambiente sehr gemütlich (man muss halt Antiquitäten mögen, so wie wir). Das Bad ausreichen groß. Die Dame, die den Frühstücksraum betreut ist äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück reichlich und gut sortiert. Diverse Eiergerichte kann man bei ihr bestellen. Rundum eine tolle Erfahrung, die wir jederzeit wiederholen würden. Grazie a tutti!

Remo picked us up from the train which was so kind. The hotel is spotlessly clean and our room was beautiful with stunningly decorated ceiling. Very spacious and very good products. No dining room but Alba is a foodie delight so no problem finding places to eat. In the area drinks sometimes come with extensive nibbles. We didn’t have dinner on night just wine, nibbles and, of course, stunning ice creams. Our hosts were as kind as you could want and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here. But don’t tell too many people what a joy Alba is. Nothing.

Beds were quite firm but comfortable. Remo is an excellent host! He is so friendly and helpful. Great recommendations for restaurants. Got us reservations L'Inedito Ristorante and it was delicious. We were able to park in the courtyard which was essential in the heart of the city.

Family run place with old world courtesy. Loved our stay here and the apartment is perfect for a stay in Alba. The wine country and surrounding villages are fantastic! The owners are wonderful. Got a real taste of old world Italy. At one time, at least 4 other families were staying in the Palazzo but it was so quiet and peaceful, one never could tell.
- Laura (10/5): Best Boutique Hotel in Alba! - The BEST place to stay in Alba! Right in the old town. Easy access by car. There is a large car park right near the hotel. OR, if there is space there are a few spots to park in their courtyard. This family owned boutique hotel is very warm and welcoming. Remo is an amazing host! He is on property to welcome you and be sure you have everything you need. The decor is old world Italy which gives you a "sense of place". The wonderful breakfast is served in the most beautiful historic space with barrel rolled brick ceiling. Alba makes a great "home base" for exploring the Piedmont region, with many small villages within a 20 minute drive. I highly recommend this hotel.

- Antoine (10/5): Enchanted town retreat in Alba - The hotel is extremely well located in the centre of the town. The room had a high ceiling painted with an antique fresco. Staff were kind and helpful. Remo enquired about our arrival time and picked us up at the station. He recommended and booked a wine degustation and tour at a winery which was completely free thanks to an agreement with the hotel. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Internet was reliable. No concerns.

Beautiful room tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you may need, very fresh and tasty breakfast. But the most important - kindest and the most welcoming hosts Rino and Maria, who made us feel special dearest guests. Thank you indeed! Next time we are in Alba - I know exactly where to stay 😊
