Guest Reviews
- Tiffany (10/5): - The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and safe. It’s right across the street from the ocean and has great views.
- Dorothy (8/5): - Beautiful view, clean room, comfy bed, awesome staff, quiet hotel (but noisy street/nearby activities; they did follow local ordinances), beautiful beach...
- Anita (10/5): - We love the Harris Sea Ranch. The location is great for everything and the place is clean.
- Emily (6/5): End of summer getaway - It was a nice get away. The staff in the office were helpful and nice.
- Debra (8/5): - Property is perfectly located. Newly remodeled rooms. However, it is next to a very popular restaurant/bar, so it was quite noisy late into the night. Also they trash/recycle collect at 5am. We had a great time no matter the minor inconvenience that the hotel had no control over. Would stay there again!
- Fabien (10/5): - Our room was situated on the very noisy side of the hotel. Next year we will book on the other side.
- Brian (10/5): - Awesome place to stay! Second time we stayed there. Just know you’re literally across the street from Bernie’s beach bar so music is loud at night. Great service, balcony was amazing and the room was quaint, but cute!
- Maria (10/5): - Very clean. Easy access to beach and right on the board walk! Staff were very nice! (Would have liked a microwave in room) I would definitely stay here again next time!
- Regina (10/5): - Love this hotel. Great location and wonderful staff. Beware you are next to a bar restaurant that has alot of good loud entertainment. If that might borther you ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
- peter (10/5): - So glad to see Harris Sea Ranch re-opened after a few years closed. Property was definitely freshened up, super clean! Great location for access to the beach, food, entertainment. Staff was awesome! Shout out front desk squad Erica, Patrick, and one I can’t remember. lol.
It’s a great beach hotel for Hampton activities. They also have a brand new family suite that sleeps 8 i think, ocean view! We’ve stayed up and down most hotels on Ocean
Blvd, there’s always gonna be some noise from bars, folks walking on sidewalk, about the same as any other hotel. Highly recommend!
- Marianne (10/5): - The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Melissa (8/5): - Staff was extremely helpful and it was very clean
- Colleen (8/5): - The Harris Sea Ranch comfortable beds, luked the balcony. The ability to park before and after check out is a huge plus. The only downside was the noise. Not just Bernies, that got quite after 1 am, which we enjoyed but the trash pick up at 5:45 am
- Jennifer (8/5): - The Harris Sea Ranch checked the majority of a beach weekend stay must have list. Clean, great parking, close to the beach. A little noisy and bright at night but who really goes to Hampton to sleep a lot anyway.
- Donna (10/5): - Was allowed to check in early, which allowed me a full day at the beach without paying for parking! Room was small but clean & bright. Bed was very comfortable! Parking was perfect! Excellent location! Will definitely be back!
- Richard (8/5): - First the picture on Expedia was not the same as the room i got no stove. The room had a mini fridge and microwave plus plates ect.it had a balcony with partial ocean view. Was right next door to berplease restaurant and bar. They are open to 1am with bands. The room could use better shadeson all windows. The Air conditioning unit is venting out to next door room balcony so you can hear their conversation, which means your balcony is the same. Early am delivery for restaurant one 4am. In my opinion you are paying for the location to be able to walk across the street to the beach. You will need an extra cooler to keep your food and drinks cold, they have a small mini fridge
- Paul (6/5): - I liked how close it was to everything and beds were great . It was a little outdated which I don’t mind but the sink was broken and room was awkward on how the doors you open you couldn’t easily maneuver with two ppl
- Jonathan (8/5): - Enjoyed our stay there! Staff were friendly. Location location!
- Cherie (10/5): - Renovations look great. Clean and comfortable. Parking out back is not good for large vehicles. I was fortunate to be able to move my SUV on my second day to the front, but it was not easy leaving the back parking lot. Trucks are too long for the back lot. Only recommendation for the rooms are room darkening curtains. Courtyards room was too bright at night and beaming bright once the sun is up.
Also, to travelers, the motel has a coffee station in reception. It's a nice set up, but I recommend bringing a travel size coffee pot for your room if you drink coffee often. Also, room 12 was missing the mentioned microwave. Not sure why there was none, but didn't need it on this 1 trip. Overall, highly recommend this property!
- JULIE ANN (8/5): - Great location!!!
- Joseph (6/5): Good room, good location, but too many problems - I booked a room with a balcony, fridge, and microwave. The room I was given had no balcony and no microwave. Staff brought us a microwave which was nice. The TV didn't work so I asked for help getting it fixed. They couldn't fix it and eventually swapped it out for a different TV. He plugged in the other TV and left without making sure it worked. Of course, it didn't. After an hour passed with no success fixing it, we asked for a different room with working appliances. They brought us to a new room where the TV didn't work. After an hour and a half was wasted, they apoligized and upgraded us to an oceanfront balcony room which we very much appreciated. Everything seemed great after the initial issues. Until about 9 PM when the balcony lights automatically turned on and were ridiculously bright. We asked if they would be turned off and the guy said they should shut off "around 12 or 11." 11 came and went, they didn't turn off. 12 came and went they didn't turn off. The hotel didn't have blackout curtains which made it very difficult to sleep. I attached a picture of the room at midnight while we had every blind down and every light turned off. It felt like daytime in the room in the middle of the night. The picture doesn't even do justice to how bright it really was. The room/location were great, but all the problems we encountered and the fact that it was very difficult to get good rest make it hard for me to recommend this hotel. There are many others in the area to consider
- Brian (10/5): - Nice rooms, directly across from the beach. Staff was great!
- Vincent (10/5): - We had room 15, which was fantastic. It was spacious and it was right next to Bernie's, we got to listen to great music! It was steps away from the beach and had off street parking which was a total plus. I've stayed all over the boardealk over the last 30+ years and I can say that the owners were exceptionally nice. Patrick and Karen made us feel right at home. We look forward to staying again!!
- Maria (10/5): Our getaway - Our trip was great. Glitch at check in of room having no fridge or microwave quickly fixed. Room was lovely, super convenient to beach and stores. No complaints! Complementary coffee enjoyed. Glad they reopened! Will go again!
- Ashley (6/5): If you like melting your skin off to shower … - We arrived at our room and a nice person saw me struggling with my bags and two kids so he helped bring stuff up to the top floor, we got to the room and it was cute, beachy and clean. Def dated and could use some tlc in the bathroom. The shower only did hot water and if you’re not into melting your skin off while you shower just turn it mostly to cold and you will have a decent one. At night for the kids the tv didn’t work and the shade to the door fell off the wall. I did ask a young guy at the desk for a screw driver and there was a language barrier so he brought me to a room with tools in and told me to pick it out — I’ve watched enough channel and that this was it.. the next day someone came and fixed both. The kicker and the reason for no 5s is I lost the room key.. there was no spare so they charged me 50 bucks to get a new one made… I get this was my fault but for the future someone else may not have been so nice .. def need to get spares or update to a key card .. overall the room was clean close to the beach and parking was easy. Also bring you’re own shampoo and conditioner and soap they provide a combo S&C which is fine for one night but longer not so much. There’s also baby bunnies living in the parking garage that’s a plus for kids.
- Rebecca (10/5): - The room was very clean and surprisingly quiet. Short walk across the street to the beach. Short walk to shops, restaurants, and a casino. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again!
- Barry (4/5): Very cozy bathroom and no service - The shower is extremely small. The bathroom is very small. The bed is fine. There is no ice machine on the property. The refrigerator had a very small freezer and no ice trays.
The location is great. The beach is across the street. Lots of restaurants nearby.
I requested service for two days by leaving the tag outside the door. No one came.
- Erica (10/5): - Wonderful staff!
- Eric (2/5): - Très bruyant
- Matt (10/5): - The front desk employees were very nice and accommodating and polite
- Kimberly (4/5): Girls Weekend Ruined but the beds were comfy - We booked a front view ocean room and were modified the day that we were leaving for a partial view room without asking us if that was okay. We paid and reserved the front view room a month in advance. Upon arrival, we were in a room side to side with Bernie's Bar. Upon stepping into the room, my friend, who is very sensitive to allergens and mold began sneezing, the entire weekend she was sick as a dog. Walking barefoot on the rug made the bottom of our feet black and there are no room darkening shades. If you don't mind loud music and people until 2 am and garbage trucks waking you up at 6 am, then this is the room for you. The best part of the room was that the beds were comfortable and the bathroom, although very vintage brown and yellow tiles, the water pressure was great! No cancellations at this place so we didn't try but we were definitley not happy. If you have allergies, this room was not recommended. Room 16.
- Robert (8/5): - No elevator.
- Jeff (10/5): - Perfect
- Brian (10/5): - Nice big rooms very clean and the staff was absolutely fantastic. Onsite parking and free wifi are very convenient right across from the beach. Always a great time. I definitely recommend staying here.
- Annie (8/5): - Nice staff, good service. Old but clean. No ice machine.
- William (10/5): - Just fabulous panoramic Ocean view and top notch staff make this stay worth every penny! Thank you for your hospitality.
Bill
- Maricela (10/5): Location location - From the moment we checked in front desk was very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We had a view of the beach which was very nice. This place is right in the center of everything.
- Willie (10/5): - Excellent stay. Great location. The staff were great.
- Eda (10/5): - We felt welcome!!
- Cole (2/5): - It’s a place to sleep during the day when everyone’s gone to beach. Other than the manager accommodating us to the room we reserved, was miserable. Granted it was the fourth, walls are paper thin, midgies in bedsheets, center of everything, so loud and heavy police presence bc of bars. Thankfully when we called the front desk about a couple physically fighting in room next to us from 1130pm-330am, they did respond and tell them to keep it down. Wouldn’t recommend on a busy weekend or if you have kids. Tried communicating with the morning manager but she didn’t say anything.
- Maria (10/5): Fun beach vacation - Across from the beach, super clean, friendly staff. Loved staying there!
- Kenny (8/5): - I only gave it an average because they are in the process of remodeling and opening it back up, but it was in an excellent location. Staff was great. We really enjoyed our stay.
- Linda (8/5): Fresh look and very clean - Great location. The hotel just reopened after 5 years…it is now fresh and clean. Note that bathrooms are original fixtures but it has been repainted and is clean. Could use new faucets. Overall we were very happy and will stay again!
- sheri (6/5): - Property was clean and the view was perfect. It was very noisy until almost 1am. Not a great place to relax at night.
- Milagro (10/5): - Clean and comfortable rooms. Conveniently located on the beach next to Bernie’s beach bar.! We had a small issue with checking in, but the hotel manager responded to us promptly and rectified the situation immediately. She was awesome! Over all we were extremely happy with our stay. This will be our new spot to stay for each show we come up to see at at Bernie’s in the future.
