Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tim was a great host. We really enjoyed our time at the B & B. He cares about his guests and enjoys sharing his knowledge of the area. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. We would not hesitate to stay there again if driving through the area.
- Arlene (10/5): - This is my third stay at Moore House; all have been wonderful. Tim is the best, and this evaluation is coming from the owner of a B&B in Colorado Springs, CO.
- Jane (10/5): Moore House - Very well maintained home. Decor was very elegant, yet very cozy and relaxing. Loved the candlelight breakfast and it's elegant table setting. Tim was very gracious and very interesting with his history/association with K State University.
- Denise (10/5): - Great hospitality and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.
- Deborah J (10/5): - The candlelight breakfasts are a unique and special touch! Tim is a most gracious and interesting host and his home is lovely. The location is perfect. Whether you're a K-State fan, shopping, a nature-lover or interested in visiting places of interest, Manhattan has much to offer and Moore House is the perfect place to stay to be close to it all. We loved our stay!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gracious host. Lovely candlelit breakfast,..
- Beth S. (10/5): Fabulous stay! - My husband and I stayed with Tim and his sweet fur babies Sydney and Sage. The home was exactly as described...clean, beautifully appointed and extremely convenient in its location to all things in Manhattan. The room and bathroom were private and very comfortable. The breakfasts that were served were by candlelight and beyond delicious. We hope to go back soon and hope to host Tim in Oklahoma the next time he passes through!
- Yan (10/5): - we randomly picked Moore House B&B, didn't expect anything as we were on road for a two-week road trip, it turned out the best experience, the host Tim went out of his way to make our stay so enjoyable and comfortable, with the romantic breakfast, the antiques from all over the world, felt we had the luxury to stay at a museum but with all the comfortable and relaxing feeling, highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay. Very pleasant host. We enjoyed it very much.
- Reid (10/5): - We very much enjoyed our stay at Moore House Bed and Breakfast. The home's period furnishings and historical details along with Tim's sincere and gracious hospitality made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Tim's breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. We will return.
- cathy (8/5): - The Moore House B&B was beautiful! Very well maintained and clean. Antique and colonial yet not “old” feeling (or smelling). Gorgeous garden to walk through or sit and enjoy your coffee. Tim went out of his way to make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious!
- Cross (10/5): B & B in Manhattan KS - Tim was an engaging host in a home near the center of K State University. There is only one room, but it is ample. Breakfasts are well thought out and delicious, but the conversation with Tim was the highlight of my two-night stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - wonderful host. will come and stay again, great history for both house and host. Thank you Tim for a great stay
- Kathy (8/5): Almost like home! - We had a wonderful experience at Moore House! Our host, Tim, was likable and accommodating. He prepared a delicious home-cooked breakfast feast each morning, each more delicious than the last. The house is filled with history and antique furniture, artifacts and art work--very pleasing and welcoming, and Tim can tell you the story about each. Our room was a little on the small side but well appointed, with a dresser in which to put our clothes, though no TV. We had a private bathroom that was equipped with hair dryer, shampoo and body gel dispensers, and fluffy towels. We had everything we needed and then some, and would stay again without hesitation.
- Dawn (10/5): A Charming Step Back In Time - Moore House is a step back in time. Filled with antiques and lovely gardens it is very romantic and charming. The down side was that my husband is a big guy and he was in fear of breaking something with that many antiques around in a small area.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fun little place to stay - Was going to Manhattan for college graduation. Great location to campus, short walk was very nice.
The only down side I would say is the parking. Because I only had one car it was nice to park in the drive but backing out on that little street was a little tough.
