Guest Reviews
- Colleen (6/5): - Older property, AC was too loud, front desk not 24/7.
Plenty of parking, no on site facilities. Quite area.
- Josie (10/5): - Born here so know this place. Went too my 40th reunion. Slept well. Its place too rest if tired. Train didnt bother me. Thanks for giving Bige and i a place too rest and be.
- Diane T (4/5): - Clean but small outdated room.toom
- Stephen (6/5): - Has a nice Cafe by it
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Basic but very clean and quiet. A great place for a stopover on a long roadtrip.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not great Not horrible - The room was very clean. On the downside: the parking lot was not plowed, no coffee, no shower. Not really worth $79
- Cathy (10/5): - Good value
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room smelled liked wet dog mixed with mold. There was a spider web with a spider in the bathroom.
- John (6/5): Outdated and old - This motel is old and outdated. They don't have any type of computer set up for signing in or for guest services. There isn't a breakfast unless you want a donut. The bed was uncomfortable and the room had a slight musty smell.
- Terri (10/5): - The room was very clean. Simple and not cluttered. The bathroom was very nice. New shower/tub and bathroom fixtures. Flooring was nice also. Our stay was during a warm day so we put the air conditioning to good use.
As a place for an overnight stay on our way through, we were very pleased.
- Teresa (8/5): - Clean and comfortable for the price. Very happy we could have our 13 year old lab in the room with us..very pet friendly. It is an older motel but very nice for price. The sink wouldn't drain in the one room so had to watch that closely so as not to run it over. Good shower pressure. We would stay here again if in the area.
- Michael (6/5): - Not a bad motel for the area
- Rebecca (10/5): - Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet and cheap.
- Patricia (8/5): - This is an older property. Room was clean, butthe window ac was very loud and had a bad smell.
- Daniel (8/5): - The room was small, but comfortable, little noise from traffic and train. Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a sewage smell which came and went, but did not appear to be from the motel and could be smelled in different parts of the town. It was close enough to Devils Tower (29 miles) and the area was green.
- JEFFERY (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean rooms and great water pressure
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Motel was great and operator was extremely flexible with changing plans. The room was clean and mostly comfortable, except that the hot water didn't get especially hot for showers during our stay (might have been a temporary issue). Otherwise, it was a very nice place and we'll definitely stay there again during our next trip to the area.
- Tyra (10/5): - The lady was really nice, the motel was comfy and very clean. Perfect for traveling and WAY better then paying hundreds for ritzy hotels!!!
- Michael (10/5): - Was convenient.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Old, but nice - This is a vert dated hotel, but it is very clean and comfy. There is a fridge, but no coffee or anything like that.
- Starr (10/5): - It was very comfortable and clean. I have stayed in some dumps before. This experience was pleasant. Staff was friendly and helpful. I could have my support dog in the room, too.
- Marilyn (8/5): - It was comfortable and clean. No replacement of towel for 2nd day
- Linda (10/5): - We arrived later in the evening and the owner was waiting for us. The motel was very quiet and very clean. It was very easy to find it after getting off the interstate. We would definitely stay there again.
- Richard (8/5): - Good location
- Linda (10/5): - Close to diner.
- Hentjie (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay in this motel. Friendly and helpful staff.. The room was simple, roomy , clean and cozy.
- Nickole (10/5): - We had a great night stay. Clean and convenient. I would definitely recommend this motel.
- Regina (10/5): - Clean, convenient! The only things that would have made it perfect was a kleenex box and coffee maker.
- Candido (2/5): - Not sure if this ends up with Expedia or hotel, but booked thru Expedia, got confirmed , showed up to hotel they didn't have any staff available to check us in, was told no rooms available, hotel couldn't find my reservation from Expedia. Called Expedia they tried to call but no one answered the phone and because of that I was charged and they won't reverse my charge untill they hear back from the hotel.
- Jeffrey (2/5): - The place was closed. It also looked like a dump.
- tina (10/5): - It was nice place to stay, just no ice machine, but the people was very nice and good friendly place
- Frosty (10/5): - Reasonable price, clean good location
- Bev (6/5): Serves the purpose... - Staff was pleasant. Bathtub appeared dirty & had peeling paint. It was quiet & I had an fairly good nights sleep.
- Jon (8/5): - A nice little quaint hotel. Sorta outdated but that’s part of its appeal. The people who work there were very friendly!
- Barbara (8/5): - This is an old motel—probably built in the 50’s or 60’s. For an overnight, it was fine. Owners were very nice and helpful. Definitely dated, but it served our purposes for a place to sleep after visiting Devils Tower. We knew ahead of time that it was an older motel, so we didn’t have any other expectations. Good diner down the street.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great for overnight stay.
- Stephen (10/5): It’s a Classic - The Cozy Motel is a nice quite little classic motor hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout my three day stay. The room was quite, comfortable, and everything I needed.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was clean, however the bed had springs from not sure what century, every time you moved the bed squeaked very loudly, the A/C was so noise that whenever the compressor started it sounded like a train rolling through the room. The actual train that runs past the hotel was quieter than the A/C.
Was not able to get any sleep in this room, not sure it was just our room or if all rooms were that noisy.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - .
- Lea Ann (2/5): Don't Stay Here - This was the worst experience. Since this was a small motel, we weren't expecting much, but this place was gross. Everything was very dated, including the towels and bedding. When I pulled down the comforter, the blanket had holes and a suspicious yellow substance on it... When I went to ask for new sheets and to let him know about the blanket, the desk attendant said, "You must not stay in many motels. Motels don't change the blankets between guests." Well neither of those things are true. On top of that disgusting experience, there were ants. If you have ANY other options, don't stay here.
- Joan (10/5): - Beautiful little motel. Everything was extremely neat and clean. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was great. Overall a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend it. Other nights on our travels were at Hampton in and Days Inn and were very disappointing compared to the Cozy Motel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean comfortable, microwave, nice size refrige/freezer. AC is good. Two nice sitting chairs in room with 30"dia. table, suitcase stand, 36" flatscreen dish tv on long table. Parking outside room door. MC friendly.
No coffee maker, towels not soft. No Kleenex tissue.
- Barbara (10/5): Back in Time - Rooms looked recently redone-bathroom, floors, Ckean but fighting flies due to the hit unseasonal Weather. Great price Town has little to offer but great value to catch a nights sleep before traveling the next day
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved the nostalgic feel of a motel from the past and were pleasantly surprised with how extremely clean our room was and how much the whole place is kept up.
- Sean (10/5): - Great stay!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): No Frills But Clean - This is a no frills motel that could use a little updating, but it was clean and good for the price.
- Christopher (8/5): A short drive to Devil's Tower - The motel is only 30 minutes from Devil's Tower and a short walk to Donna's Diner. At check in the desk man made some helpful recommendations.
While an old facility, everything worked as you'd expect and bed was reasonable comfortable and the room was clean.
You could do a lot worse than staying here. Very affordable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - A classic old style motel that is showing it’s age despite the efforts to keep it up. Noisy AC the worst. Owner’s attitude and help the best.
- David (10/5): Tops near the Tower. - Just a night stop on the way across America.
