• Melissa (2/5): Awful - avoid!!! - Nothing The room was not like the pictures on Booking.com - our room was undecorated and had marks/stains all over the walls, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and we had broken glass on the balcony which we did not know was shared until we arrived. When reception was messaged to get toilet paper they ignored us. And we did not have a city view from the balcony.
• Alexander (9/5): I definitely would book again if I were to go to Amsterdam again. The vibes were great! - The location was great, the bus line was walkable from where the hotel was. The room I stayed in was spacious enough for me (I'm 4,10). Food and staff at the restaurant and front desk were super nice. They had things to do there at the hotel like events but I wasn't feeling social that week to go. However the music sounded fun and lively when I passed by. You could hear what was happening in the rooms adjacent and above you. Which didn't bother me because I've always lived in an apartment complex and such, but I know that could be a problem for someone else. Also the shower was not efficient there was absolutely no threshold or like the water seal on the glass door to keep the water from spilling out onto the floor. The water did get hot though so it wasn't too bad I just had to point the water to the corner.

• Jonas (3/5): - Die Zimmer sehen auf den Fotos um einiges besser aus als wie was sie eigentlich sind! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr unmotiviert. Wir waren am Mittwoch frühstücken und die Kollegen an der Rezeption haben uns anscheinend nicht eingecheckt obwohl wir schon zwei Nächte dort übernachtet haben... dadurch waren die Kollegen im Café sehr verwundert warum wir frühstücken... sonst ist es ganz okay weil es den Mitarbeitern eigentlich egal ist was man dort macht! :-)

• Guillermo (8/5): Hotel muy recomendable y más aun si cambian las almohadas. - El edificio nos gustó mucho ya que combinaba varios usos y le daba vida al hotel más allá de los turistas. La ubicación nos pareció muy buena ya que el barrio es muy agradable y estaba cerca de la estación y a 15-20min del centro. El desayuno está bien y la zona de cafetería es muy agradable. El personal fue muy amable. Las almohadas hicieron que nos despertáramos con el cuello agarrotado. Igual estaría bien combinar (una de cada) con las que son más rectangulares. El montacargas hace ruido aunque no nos molestó para dormir.

• Britany_Wild (8/5): Nice enough - The hotel was a little further out of Amsterdam central however it is surrounded by a brilliant hub of shops ect. Amsterdam Muiderpoort station is 5 minutes walk away which takes you straight into Amsterdam centre. Or roughly a 40 minute walk. There is alot of road works at the minute which affected the tram to the hotel so check before you book. The staff were amazing. We was able to leave our bags when we arrived and checked in later on. There are no cups in the room but we was able to get paper cups from the bar downstairs. The bed was huge and really comfy. Very low to the ground but no issue for us. Alot of plug sockets in the room too. A strange lay out. We had a private bathroom which was a toilet & shower. The sink was in the main bedroom. There was a shower gel in the shower however we took our own. Room had a small fridge and a safe plus hangers to hang our clothes. There was also a desk, chair & tv. We could hear a few people in the morning but overall very quiet stay. I was aware when i booked but there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. No full length mirror When we had a shower it leaked into the main bedroom floor. The shower is not water tight. There is water marks already on the floor in the bedroom so i am guessing this in an ongoing problem

• Ellie (5/5): It was okay, but I wouldn’t stay again. Especially not for the price we paid (wasn’t worth it) - The hotel is very quirky and I thought the area surrounding the hotel was quite nice. The bed was comfortable and the room we stayed in was fine but nothing to shout about. The hotel has a nice cafe downstairs too and lots of restaurants and bakeries surrounding and not a long walk from the train station or metro stop. Staff are friendly too The bed was on a wooden palette and it was a bit awkward to get onto it so unless they have disability accessible rooms this wouldn’t be a great fit for people with limited mobility. There was no hair dryer and the fridge was so warm, there was also a really dusty fan in the room we could use (no AC) but we just left the window open. The lift is a bit dodgy and my partner got stuck in the lift that goes from the 3rd floor to the 4th in the hotel area (it’s a manual lift so you have to hold a button to get to the next floor which was a bit creepy so we stuck with the stairs). There were a few events going on at the hotel so sometimes we couldn’t actually get into the main entrance area we had to go through the cafe doors to get in (but I couldn’t hear any of the events going on inside the hotel from our room so that’s good!). The street outside however is busy and we witnessed a physical fight from our window with people shouting and screaming at each other. The tram drops you off just outside the centre of Amsterdam so if you’re okay with walking to get to the city centre then you’ll be good (wasn’t an issue for us, was just a bit awkward).
• Lisette (8/5): - It's located in a cool local area! Really nice restaurants, cafes and bakeries around and in general, cool vibes! The room was good, nothing too extravagant but for the price in Amsterdam it was definitely a good deal. We had a nice stay without any major issues. Slightly further from the main center but wasn't a big deal. If you care about the thinness of walls, these were were thin and the room didn't have anywhere to store clothes, again not a biggie for us but maybe if you are expecting that. Since Amsterdam is pricy, I can't complain about the price too much but it's not cheap in my humble opinion, especially since the room has only the basics. It's a good price for Amsterdam though I guess :D

• Enrique Felipe (6/5): Nice but with some remarkable faults. - Overall, if you have a concert there, yes it’s a great option. Also with stores and supermarkets close by. And the vibe was good too, I did like it a lot. Also the restaurant/Bar from the hotel is pretty nice. It’s also very refreshing the fact that every thin it’s been made to spin around music. The rooms might be a bit small for two persons, there was dust in some parts of the room, Some personal/Staff members are a bit rude… but others are really nice tho. And the cleaning overall was good enough but still some parts could be improved if we compare with other hotels in the same price range.

• Andrei (7/5): Hôtel convenable, mais trop cher pour ce que c’est - Le concept est sympathique, le bâtiment est original et il y a une vraie alternativité du lieu. La chambre est également originale, ce qui donne une expérience un peu différente des hôtels classiques. Le prix est beaucoup trop élevé pour ce qui est proposé. Le lit est inconfortable, posé sur des sortes de planches, et tout grince pendant la nuit. La chambre est très minimaliste, avec seulement le strict nécessaire — il n’y a même pas de sèche-cheveux ni d’autres équipements de base. L’hôtel est assez éloigné du centre, ce qui n’est pas très pratique. Enfin, le personnel n’est pas particulièrement accueillant : les échanges sont plutôt froids et peu chaleureux.
• Emma (8/5): Perfect for transport links and neighbourhood vibes, in a kooky minimalist hotel. - The hotel's location was perfect; easy tram links to Centraal Station, and other destinations such as Ann Frank House, and a lovely neighbourhood vibe with a great selection of local restaurants within easy walking distance, and without the 'stag/hen' atmosphere on the evening. The hotel is quirky and kooky, with minimalist and functional rooms. A good selection of breakfast items included with the room; scrambled and boiled eggs and bacon, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, tea and coffee. Whilst not extensive compared to big chain hotels it was more than enough for our needs. Futon style sleeping is not for me I decided! The mattress on a the platform made for some interesting and hilarious moves to get up in the morning after lots of walking the day before; the rooms are advertised as this so it’s not a criticism of the hotel, but a realisation of my own capabilities! With only three hangers and a shelf there wasn’t space for two travellers to unpack for the week.

Staff very helpful and friendly, bonus points for the local cat who stays in the reception area. Comfortable rooms and reasonably comfortable beds and overall in a pleasant area with a supermarket and restaurants nearby. Pillows were not so comfortable at times but this could be down to a preference, not as wide as some other pillows

They even gave us useful tips about the city and kindly stored our luggage since we arrived early. The location was also excellent, lots of stores near by and.with very convenient transport connections to the city center and other beautiful areas of Amsterdam within 15–20 minutes. The bathroom was a bit small, and the sink being located outside of it was slightly inconvenient.

• valerio (8/5): Rock n roll hotel!!! - Sono un musicista e ho apprezzato molto questo hotel molto particolare, è un edificio in cui oltre all'hotel si trovano un accogliente cafè/bar aperto fino alle 23/00 a seconda dei giorni, sale prova per artisti, studio di registrazione ed altri servizi, c'è un bel viavai di ragazzi con strumenti e l'atmosfera è molto allegra! L'arredamento è piuttosto spartano ma è molto rock n roll! Sconsigliato a persone che si aspettano il grand hotel in una grande città europea in alta stagione pagando solo 100 euro a notte: andate altrove. Staff molto gentile e disponibile, posizione interessante in un quartiere carino con numerosi supermercati, negozi, ristoranti e locali, a 50 metri da un piacevole lungo/canale con locali e ristoranti. Con il tram 19 (fermata Ostpoort) si raggiunge in 10 minuti la stazione della metropolitana Weesperplain dove fermano le linee M50, M51 e M53 che ti portano ovunque. Il tram 19 ti porta anche al Rijksmuseum dove ci sono anche numerosi altri musei. A 100 metri c'e' la stazione ferroviaria Amsterdam Muiderpoort che in 6 minuti ti porta ad Amsterdam Centraal, attenzione: la "I amsterdam card" NON include i treni per cui occorre biglietto a parte. Da li con 14 euro circa raggiungete l'aeroporto di Schiphol (cambiando in Centraal), volendo costa meno ma occorre fare un abbonamento o una carta non avevo voglia di star li a perdere tempo sul telefono e ho pagato i 14 euro. Materasso letto troppo molle. Non c'è armadio in camera, sostituito da una sbarra con appendini, ma lo sapevamo gia. Per motivi di spazio non ci sono comodini ma 2 ripiani tondi di 10 cm di diametro a ogni lato e piuttosto malmessi, tra un po cederanno: consiglio costruttivo, un paio di mensole ben fissate starebbero meglio. Il radiatore per il riscaldamento non funzionava ma abbiamo usato quello del bagno e si stava bene. Porta finestra che non si apriva, peccato ogni tanto avrei voluto uscire sul balcone.

• Darragh (6/5): Basic and reasonably priced with with some niggles for some - I liked the room layout and how it is integrated with a cultural space, at a reasonable price. The bar, and staff in it were very hospitable. And the breakfast, while basic, was tasty. Location was good - it's in a suburb, so you see real Amsterdam living,with good GVB connections (trams 19 and 14), and on the NS train system too. The facility, while of modern design and construction, and an industrial vibe, seems well worn and not particularly cared for. Cleanliness is hit and miss, and when we discovered a mouse in our bedroom one night, the desk staff didn't seem surprised. The facilitation for unpacking clothes in the room was poor- afew shelves, and a lot more hooks would make a world of difference to people staying longer than a night or two. The breakfast provision also was also on quite late - we're not sure if it starts at 7.30 or 8.00am but considering when tourist trips start in Amsterdam an earlier breakfast would be valued.

Wir haben unsere Karte verloren und haben ohne Probleme und ohne Kosten eine neue Karten bekommen, sehr freundlich! Lage: Die ist gut, man hat mehrere Bahn Verbindungen die quasi direkt in die Innenstadt fahren, man hat einen Albert Supermarkt und andere Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf direkt in der Nähe. Zimmer: Einfach unschön! Sporadisch wie sonst was eingerichtet. Das Bett, kein Lattenrost, nur eine Holzplatte, die Matratze super weich. Der Kühlschrank winzig klein. Das Badezimmer naja, bei der Tür von der Dusche ist ein sehr breiter Spalt so das der Raum sehr nass wird, die Klobürste hängt nicht mehr an der Wand (Scheibe abgebrochen zu sein). Kabel vom TV sehr kaputt, hatten Angst ihn anzumachen wegen Stromschlägen/Überspringen. Es ist unfassbar hellhörig, so das wenn die Nachbarn normal reden man selbst das Gespräch mitbekommt. Service: Zimmer Service war oke. Einmal wurde gereinigt obwohl ein „bitte nicht stören“ Schild an der Tür Hang. Service an der Rezeption sehr gut! Wir konnten un
• J. Prengemann (4/5): Gute Lage, mehr auch nicht. - Die Lage ist gut, Straßenbahn zur City schnell erreichbar, diverse Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. In der Nahen Umgebung gute Restaurants, teilweise mit Live Musik am Abend. Wer es spartanisch mag ist hier richtig. Schon beim Check in. kein Guten Tag, nur ein Anreise ab 15:00 Uhr (wussten wir, wollten nur die Taschen abstellen) Nur ein Stuhl im Zimmer, kein richtiger Schrank, Betten auf Holzbrett - das alles für den Preis - nicht akzeptabel. Wände zum Nachbarzimmer sind nicht gedämmt. Eine Auffrischung der Einrichtung wäre nötig. Und das laut Webseite Frühstücksangebot - lächerlich. Kein Glutenfreies Brot ( erst nach nach dem 4. Tag machbar ) über Vegan reden wir erst gar nicht. Alles nicht sonderlich Abwechslungsreich.
