- Anoushka (9/5): Beautiful, historic and individual. - The room and the staff, who were incredibly helpful despite me arriving so late. The water in the shower (room 4) was tepid at best!
- Philippa (9/5): Very nice hotel. Food excellent. - The location, facilities , excellent food and comfortable bed The noise of people walking pass the room whilst trying to sleep
- Lisa Occleshaw (8/5): Comfortable stay in pretty village. - Room was a good size and very comfortable, bedding and towels were of a nice quality and the bathroom was large, bright and clean. The tea and coffee making facilities were a good quality as well. Nothing, all was fine. Nothing negative to write at all.

- Gavin (10/5): Great location, wonderful rooms, amazing staff. - Breakfast and dinner were lovely, the staff were amazing and I would recomend here to anyone who asks. The parking was a bit of a nightmare BUT thats not really the staff's fault. I used booking.com to book this and it did not make it clear Breakfast was additional which was a bit inconvenient.
- Cooper (10/5): Excellent overall. I’m being picky about maintenance faults - Good was exceptionally good Toilets difficult to flush. Buttons stiff. Light fitting in bathroom loose.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely, cosy overnight stay - The room was beautifully decorated, cosy and perfect for an overnight stay. The breakfast was excellent and I appreciate how the staff were able to cater for my dietary requirements. Charlotte in particular was very welcoming and helpful. There was a sharp end to the handle on the small wardrobe which I think needs some kind of padding as it painfully scraped my shoulder as I leaned down to hang up my clothes.

- Dermot (6/5): Staff superb but dissatisfied with room and breakfast - Dinner at night was very good
Service of all staff excellent could not fault brilliant all young professionals. Breakfast very poor cold water in teapots when we requested hot water we then got lukewarm water . The teapots were only half filled so you could only get enough lukewarm water to make one small cup of tea . No loose sugar for cereal just cubes of sugar !!!
- Thomas (10/5): Comfortable place to stay. - Great location right in the centre of this charming small town. Very comfortable room and a great bed. Excellent breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Nothing not to like.

- nigel (9/5): A great place to stay - I loved the country manor style and decor of the room and its light and airy ambiance. beautifully clean and with good in room facilities. The quality of the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was excellent. The breakfast times were business visit compatible. Staff were very friendly and helpful. On-street only parking was a little unnerving, especially given the variable parking restrictions, but was not a big concern. EV charge points in the near vicinity would increase the attraction of this location.
- Caroline (8/5): -
- Joanne (8/5): -
- David (9/5): Comfortable, clean and pleasant - Friendliness of the staff
- Anita (8/5): Prachtige locatie - Prachtige locatie
Goede sfeer
Vriendelijk personeel 1 kamer had een beetje een bedompt/vochtig luchtje. Zorg dat de kamers fris ruiken.
- James (9/5): -
- Elaine (3/5): Staff were as helpful as they could be but in terms - The location was fab. Due to the weather being warm the conditions inside the rooms made it very uncomfortable. The first room we had had poor natural ventilation, the bedding was inappropriate for the weather and the bath too high for an elderly lady to safely access the shower. There was no where to store cold drinks or purchased local produce or the milk used for tea /coffee. The fans provided were totally inadequate for the conditions. I purchased my own fan to cool me
Down at night.
- Adrienne (7/5): Very pleasant stay. - Breakfast was very good. Good choice. Comfy bed evening dinner in the restaurant was very good. Very good service and staff. Thank you. Nothing.
- Caroline (10/5): Perfect stay, staff were very kind and attentive, room was gorgeous and breakfast was yummy, - The rooms were gorgeous, lots of extra touches that made us feel very welcomes.
- Wendy (10/5): - Food, staff and room all 100%
- David (9/5): - The stylish design and the spaciousness of the bedroom
The location in the centre of town The double steps into the bathroom
- Diane (9/5): Good value and friendly staff - Good location and excellent value dinner with very friendly staff.
This is an old inn with the expected quirky features. Would revisit.
- Archie (10/5): The Custard Was Spot On - I rate a place on its comfort, conveniences, food, prices, vfm but most of all it's people. Last night's stay was made 5* due to custard. I asked the waitress for custard with my dessert, much to the amazement of my fellow diners.
And the chef producer the custard, which was spot on and a fitting end to what was a very good meal. Parking in the village can be a tad tiresome.

- Abbi (9/5): Superb - My sister and I had a lovely stay. The rooms were beautiful, with extremely comfortable beds and lovely linens. The bathrooms were stylish and comfortable, and the food (we ate breakfast every day and dinner a couple of times) was delicious. We will 100% be back in the future.
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rosie (9/5): Superb -
- Nunn (8/5): A very attractive character hotel in the heart of a pretty village - This is a delightful character hotel with lots of original features right in the heart of the pretty village of Somerton which had been sympathetically decorated and surprisingly spacious with a courtyard garden.
Although a busy village pub, our room was surprisingly quiet. We would have liked to have seen more choice in the buffet table for breakfast such as a selection of meat and cheeses and a bowl of fruit salad.
However, the cooked breakfast was good with quality local produce and the room had little extras like little bottles of milk and quality tea selection and a coffee machine.
The staff were also attentive and thoughtful.
The bed was a good size but it was very firm and it could have had the option of a mattress topper.
- Kate (10/5): Great value for money - Great attention to detail. Lovely toiletries. Great atmosphere. Very clean and comfortable room.
- Hillage (6/5): Pleasant - Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location. A very well appointed room with all one would want, apart from the problems mentioned below. Unfortunately the heating in the room was not working properly with just one radiator functioning. No heat in the lovely bathroom.
The bed was very low, which was unfortunate for me as I had some mobility problems at the time.
- Andrew (10/5): Absolutely superb property, staff and food of very high standards - Absolutely beautiful experience. Property and accommodation were very well maintained. Staff far exceeded our expectations and we will most definitely return. Food very good indeed Nothing.
- Kate (10/5): We will definitely be back! - Great facilities within the room. Everything we were looking for.
- Ken (9/5): Enjoyable and comfortable, will return and recommend to others - All no complaints There was nothing I didn't like, the only opportunity for improvement, would be a face cloth in the bathroom
- Ray (10/5): Excellent place to stay - Clean tidy warm good food staff was all lovely
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Terence (10/5): Great hotel and restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. - Although it was chilly outside the room was warm and comfortable, a very nice bed and a great shower, the Resturant was very nice with good quality food at a reasonable price. The only thing I didn’t like was that I only stayed one night..!!! I would have liked more.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Steve (8/5): Very nice, would stay there again - Lovely room, Nicely decorated. Dinner was good Need somewhere to leave the room keys if you are leaving early
- Phillipa (10/5): Exceptional - Super comfy bed, good size room N/a
- Oliver (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Katie (10/5): Excellent hotel, comfortable rooms, good food and friendly staff. - Friendly staff, comfortable bed, food lovely for both breakfast and dinner and nothing is too much trouble. Dressers do not have vanity mirrors (i have stayed in a few rooms) , lighting could be better in this area.
- Karen (10/5): Great place to stay, comfortable and readonably priced. - It was comfortable and friendly. It’s a very busy hotel.
Would stay again. Had to wait quite awhile to check in. But then it was very busy and the staff were working hard to serve everyone.
- Gemma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geoffrey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frank (10/5): Exceptional - The breakfast was great, the room was very tastefully furnished and decorated, great tea and coffee making facilities in the room One of the most expensive items on the menu (300gr rump steak) really was just a slab of meat with 1/2 a tomato on top, no imagination.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed everything about our stay at the White hart and the food was lovely.
- Savannah (10/5): Amazing stay at the White Hart, lovely room, lovely staff. - Felt very homely and was a lovely stay. The band music till late in the evening
