• Jim (10/5): Fantastic stay in Walferdange - Fantastic hotel conveniently located outside of Luxembourg City but with easy access via the adjacent train station. Rooms were modern and very clean. The shower and bathroom being off the bedroom was a bit quirky but didn't cause any issues. Restaurant was closed during our stay. Check the website details before you book.

The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, the room was large, very well appointed and bathroom was modern and spotless with a good shower. The rest of the hotel lobby and restaurant area was very clean and modern also, even though we didn't make use of it

(minpuntje zou geluid van de treinen kunnen zijn, was het niet voor ons, en is niet een heel druk spoor. Geluid is goed geisoleerd)

• rania (8/5): Un séjour très agréable, confortable et parfaitement adapté à un déplacement professionnel. - Le personnel a été particulièrement chaleureux, attentionné et très réactif. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable, avec un coin bureau bien aménagé, ce qui m’a permis de travailler dans de bonnes conditions. Le petit-déjeuner était également de très bonne qualité. Rien de particulier à signaler. Mon séjour s’est déroulé dans de très bonnes conditions.

• Mohamadreza (9/5): A sensation of cleanliness and moderate luxury - Super clean and neat and tidy, with really friendly staff. The communications were super clear and straightforward with all the necessary details for self-checking. The room was spotless clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and I recommend it to others. However the location is bit further from the city center which is not a minus in my opinion because when you are searching for the hotel you will see the distance, so you can manage your transport by your car or bus. Btw, they have a wallbox for slow-charging if you have an electric car. I was lucky that I could use it. The only downside is that the property only has one wallbox for charging electric cars and the price is separately to be paid. But I guess that would be fair since the electricity price for the cars should be considered separately. But maybe at least install more wallboxes so more people can charge overnight at the hotel.

Yes, the road is very loud even when the windows are just tilted open. Maybe some air conditioning system would be helpful, because when the windows are shut the noises are quite dimmed.

• Petra (8/5): - Modern eingerichtete Zimmer. Aufgrund der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße kann man nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Die Fenster sind aber recht schalldicht.
• Penny (10/5): Super Find - Super hotel with parking (first come first served), very welcoming staff, who speak excellent English as well as several other languages, very generous and well appointed rooms which are serviced everyday and easy access to public transport enabling you to get into the heart of Luxembourg in 20 minutes. For those who want to dine in the restaurant in the hotel has an excellent and there is also a wide choice of restaurants a 5 minute walk down the street.

Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

• Krzysztof (10/5): Highly recommended! - A very nice and friendly place to spend a few nights. The rooms are clean, air-conditioned, well-equipped, the staff is very polite and friendly. It is a very good option if you wish to explore the city of Luxembourg or other places in the country: there is a railway station nearby, and the trains and public busses are completely free within the country! If you arrive by your own car, the parking may be crowded during the evening times when the restaurant is full. But still, you may try leaving your car at a public parking place at the railway station, and moving it closer to the hotel when more parking places are available. To sum up, highly recommended! We didn't have the breakfast here so we cannot say much about it.

Für eine Person völlig ausreichend. Kaffee, Wasser & Obst inklusive. Bad offen ohne Tür, Toilette separat Als Einzelzimmer ok, zu zweit mit offenem Bad nicht zu empfehlen. Das Bett war mir zu hart, habe mir eins von den vielen Kissen unter den Rücken gelegt Preisleistungsverhältnis mit 104,- € für ein kleines (Einzel)Zimmer ohne Frühstück zu teuer.

• Ida (9/5): - Lage ist perfekt, wenn man nicht direkt in der Stadt wohnen möchte. Bus 2 min vom Hotel. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Frühstück an den Tisch serviert und sehr gut. Parken vor Hotel möglich. Es hat alles gepasst.

• Annelies (10/5): Gastvrijheid, comfort en klasse in één - Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Hostellerie Schafelter! Onze kamer was supermooi en voorzien van alle comfort – alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het voelde meteen warm en uitnodigend aan. Bij aankomst op zondag was de receptie gesloten, maar de zelf-check-in met vooraf ontvangen toegangscodes werkte perfect. Alles was duidelijk en goed geregeld – echt zorgeloos binnenkomen! Ook het ontbijt verdient een dikke pluim: geen buffet, maar een stijlvol en royaal ontbijt dat aan tafel werd geserveerd. Elk detail was doordacht, met heerlijke, verse producten. Pure verwennerij! De combinatie van rust, klasse, comfort en persoonlijke service maakt deze plek echt bijzonder. Een absolute aanrader – wij komen zeker terug! —

• Catja (8/5): - Gemütliche Betten und sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück, welches man dazu buchen kann, lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Die Kombination der Lichtschalter im Bad (Kombination von Bad und der Toilette bzw. dem Luftabzug in der Toilette). Sobald man das Licht an macht, gibt es Lärm aus der Toilette.
