Lovely cosy lounge, with wonderful view of busy Jerusalem.
Very comfy beds, and great bathroom with heater which was lovely in the winter for when you come out of the shower.

I would have liked more toiletries available such as lotion, separate shampoo and conditioner, soap and tissues. Extra blankets would have also been appreciated as it was extremely cold outside and the rooms were often cold.

The apartment has everything you need to prepare a kosher meal. Everything is color coded and very clean.
Beds are very comfortable
Has a small laundry room.
We had great shabbat here. I'm hoping to come back here.
- Marek (7/5): Good location, comfy for 4 people - Location is great, around 15-20 minutes to Old Town/New Gate via Jaffa Road. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. Apartment was well equiped. Kitchen allows to cook. Check in is automatic. By bus 231 or 234 from Damascus Gate we went to Betlehem and visited by walking distance Church of Navity and Walled Off hotel. Internet is working perfectly. Host is very helpful. We loved small balcony. Air con working very good. Apartment was quite clean but far from EU standards.
Windows has single glass only and it might be noisy in apartment especially at night.
Host did not inform me about free parking and as local should know about it. I found free HaMaalot parking, probably the only free parking in center of Jerusalem and only 5 minutes by walk from apartment.

We were satisfied with this accommodation. Unfortunately, it was not possible to leave our luggage anywhere at this place after check-out. We had to find another solution to store our luggage for some hours.

- appartment was clean and had all the amenities - there are three locks to open the appartment, which became a bit cumbersome. Had to look for the three pin everytime one had to enter
- we used Public transport for remaining part of the trip. If instructions would have been given that would be more helpful. Buying the rav kav card and refilling it is quite difficult
- we were aware of the additional cleaning charges, but found it to be quite steep

- Shreja (10/5): It was an excellent stay - The apartment was ready, clean and had all facilities as mentioned. I was pleasantly surprised to find kitchenware and cutlery. The host also made it a point to provide garbage bags. We could not find garbage bins in the locality and host immediately send me directions to one which was a 2 min walk from the apartment. You will find some coffee and tea sachets along with sugar, salt and pepper which helped us as we needed some coffee the moment we arrived and did not have to step out for it.
I recommended Segal to a tourist we met who plans to bring his family for a longer stay in Jerusalem.
Keep up the great job! Nothing. I had trouble using the dryer as I have never used one before.
- Harold (9/5): Good Value, Clean and Convenient - There are two apartments at 37B Ben Yehuda St. The right one in the hallway is to be avoided. This review is based on my second visit to the apartment, on the left side of the hallway, which is very clean, airy, roomy with a terrace, convenient to all the important sites including Ben Yehuda Street, Jaffa Road and the Old City. It exceeded my expectations., especially after staying in the inferior apartment at the right of the hallway. I gave it a 9 because it is not exceptional, which is a much higher bar, but it certainly is wonderful. Nothing
- Harold (5/5): Ask for the Nicer Apartment - We stayed here twice in November. The first time, at 37B Ben Yehuda, we were assigned to the apartment on the right of the hallway. It was a disaster. Small, no windows, a clothes dryer that was so noisy we couldn't use it. It and definitely not worth the money. The pictures did not reflect this apartment at all. The best thing about it was that it was very clean and convenient to Ben Yehuda Street and the Old City. Please see my second review. We were given the apartment on the left, after complaining about the first apartment. It exceeded our expectations The apartment on the right of the hallways was windowless and small with a clothes dryer that was so loud we couldn't use it. Please see my review about the apartment at the left of the hallway, which was excellent.

Highly recommend. - Our stay in this Segal Apartment was wonderful. it was clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, it was spacious compared to other apartments we considered, and Avraham was very accommodating. Although the street we were on was very loud, the soundproofing was amazing and the street noise was barely audible. We loved sitting on the porch. There are several flights of stairs that you have to walk up to get to the unit, so it wouldn’t be ideal for someone with mobility issues. Getting our luggage up and down the stairs wasn’t fun but the stairs were tolerable for the rest of the trip. Also, you need to use/remember 3 different door lock codes to get in and out. Lastly, we couldn’t figure out how to use the washer/dryer. Written instructions would be helpful.
