Leif Olav (1/5): Styr unna - Er det mest forferdelige eg har overnattet på, hadde booket for 2 nettet, såg med ein gang ein kommer på plass at det ikkje var ok..ingen som tar imot deg,måtte ringe rundt og ordne sjølv, masse surr med rom, ikkje klart til vi kom, luktet gammelt, masse narkomane som holder til inne og utforbi. Det låste seg folk inn på rommet på natta mens eg sov, så styr unna!!! Klagde på at eg fikk folk på rommet, fikk då eit nytt rom i 2 etasje.

Gloria (8/5): - I booked on the same day and could check-in immediately after arriving at 4 pm. The room was small but comfortable and had all I needed for my one-night stay. I had good breakfast with freshly made eggs and bacon.

Graeme (10/5): Home from home in Haugesund - Super friendly and helpful people, met with a warm welcome, very comfortable room and bed. Facilities and breakfast better than I expected. Location was ideal for me with a 15 min walk into town to stretch the legs altho I had the option of being dropped in if I needed. I had to manage my diet for a weightlifting competition so the self service kitchen was perfect with a supermarket just 5 minutes away too. Hope to get back for a holiday soon - lots to see and do here in the home of the Vikings Nothing - completely met my needs

Olav (7/5): Good - Jone - the host is very welcoming and supportive. Good sauna in the Men's room in the basement. Good living room with TV, Netflix and laid-back chairs. Room for cooking your own food in the kitchen. Grocery store, REMA 1000 close by. The kitchen was filthy. The smell of cigarettes in the lobby. Skinheads and bad environment. Room for improvement: Better service in terms of effortlessly check-in/check-out. Had to leave my card on the counter with no one attending. All in all: Skeisvang is an ok stay when everything else in Haugesund is full for a reasonable price. Fair enough.
Michael (4/5): Unstaffed. - It was comfortable enough and served its purpose. I simply needed a place to sleep for a 3 day festival in Kopervik. I would never stay again though. Basically everything. I'm not sure if it was a hostel that has moved away from travelling guests and moved to permanent residency or the other way around, but it is not suitable as a hostel as it currently is. Reception is not staffed, you have to phone someone and someone else appears from another room, who doesn't speak English. The dorm room is actually 21 beds, not the 12 it looks like in the picture. There was only two of us in there, so not an issue. But I would never have booked a 21 bed dorm room. All information on facilities is completely outdated or not available for the dorm room.

Beboer i utløste brannalarmen i løpet av natta, men ingen varsling i min etasje. Pluss for rent håndkle og sengetøy, minus for alt annet (inkludert illeluktende og skittent vegg-til-vegg golvteppe). Ikke bo her hvis du har andre alternativer!

JKristian (10/5): Great value for money - This was in fact far better than I expected. I had the whole 18 guest dormitory to myself. I only paid 450 NOK for the night. Everything was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great, with warm bread, eggs and bacon, coffee, juice and more. The people working here were all nice and serviceminded. I was in Haugesund for a festival and this was a perfect place to stay, only a 30 minutes walk from downtown.

Despite following up via booking.com no refund has been made. So very expensive accommodation. Very basic room. Upstairs room without lift so carried luggage. Location far from public transport. The room was simply furnished with two single beds, tv, two arm chairs and a table, a very small bathroom. There wasn’t any extra, like fridge, shampo or hairdryer. We asked the staff for a hair dryer, and they provided one. The bathroom was a bit small, but it was ok for a two nights. The water flooded the floor when we showered, which was inconvenient. There should have been a hair dryer and a couple of glasses for water. The first night, there was some noice in the hallway. People were talking loud and slamming doors a lot in the middle of the night. Some of the staff could be a bit more service minded.

Prismessig lå de i utgangspunktet NOK 500 under Scandic (for et rom med hund), men da jeg møtte for innsjekk måtte jeg betale NOK 300 ekstra siden jeg hadde med meg to hunder. Kunne ikke se at dette var nevnt noe sted ved bestilling. Ellers var det et lite rom, som forventet, og en OK seng å sove i. Badet var rent og frokosten var heller ikke så verst. Grunnet de små prisforskjellene velger jeg nok Scandic neste gang.. Et helt OK hotell, men vær obs på ekstrautgift tilknyttet hund.

Jørgen (6/5): Enkel standard på alt. - Servicen ble oppfattet som god. Svært god wifi. Meget enkelt innredet og lite rom. Bra renhold og nytt bad. Dårlig seng. Lytt som gjorde at man ble forstyrret av aktivitet på gang og naborommet. Svært enkel frokost. Forventningene var ikke høy så oppsummert ble jeg verken skuffet eller positivt overrasket.

Jill (4/5): Skuffende opphold - Generelt slitent sted. Nålefilt på gulvet, elendig bad, med riper i deler av plastbelegg på veggene og knust dolokk. Dårlig lukt i gangen opp til 2.etg. Trengs total renovering. Sammenliknet med andre steder vi har bodd, var det dårlig verdig for pengene. Kr 1.250 for en ekstra overnatting var uhørt. Veldig glad vi bare ble en natt.

Britt (8/5): Brukbart overnattingssted i landlige omgivelser. - Vennlig og god service. Rommet var greit og romslig men rullegardinen til takvinduet var ødelagt og stålampen var vinglete og kunne ikke brukes. Savnet nattbord. Ellers helt ok.

Gille (8/5): - Alles war sauber und in gutem Zustand. Fernsehen konnte man nicht (abgehacktes Bild und der Ton krächzte nur. Das Frühstücksbufett war sehr umfangreich, allerdings war die Brotauswahl gering. Aber alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt und es wurde alles sehr schnell wieder aufgefüllt.

Stein (8/5): - Ble overasket over lite smitteværnstiltak ved frokost. Det var buffet, og det fantes ikke Antibac el i matsalen. Med tanke på dagens situasjon, så er dette kritikkverdig.
Tore (6/5): Middels - Lite og ukomfortabelt rom. Badet var trangt, og dusjen lite innbydende. Skråtak ødela inntrykket av rommet. Enkel frokost.
