- MAUDE KUMBELEMBE BARTOLOMEU (8/5): Nice - We really liked the service, the staff are very friendly and welcoming, we don't have much to say about the food as it is something completely different from our culture. if we improved the food according to the origin of the customers, trying to make food that could be assembled.
- Silvia (9/5): Comfortable and clean hotel in Maadi.

- Carla (7/5): Safe place to stay, helpful staff. Very basic amenities and rooms. - The staff are exceptional. Very warm and concerned with your comfort and stay. They all go the extra mile for their guests. I felt the rooms were overpriced for very basic amenities. Wifi is very poor and breakfast is lacking in variety.

- Sohail (9/5): Egypt is its people… the sum of it’s culture, its monuments and it’s location. - I loved the location for its immersion in the local buzz of every day life.
Close to the Nile, close to the metro.
A great start if you’re looking for an local Egyptian experience. If you can be a little forgiving, there’s nothing to dislike.

- Silvia (7/5): Ok stay - The hotel has a great location in the centre of Maadi Cairo. The breakfast was nice. The room didn’t have soap or shampoo and I had to request it from the reception. The view was not the best and breakfast could use a bit more selection.
- Mojgan (10/5): Good place to stay - Very clean, comfortable, has a touch of the Britishers time, very kind Staff and accommodating. They even bought a hair dreyer on my request for guests to use when needed.
- Chantelle123 (8/5): Friendly staff, good location close to the metro, but too expensive. - The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was clean, it was close to the metro, the housekeeping staff were especially kind, and the location was good as it was on a side street away from the chaos of Cairo. When we arrived, the staff showed us to our room which was dingy and gross and not worth the amount of money we paid for it nor did it resemble the photos of the suite. However, the bell hop pulled us out of there and showed us another suite that was much nicer and more like the photos of the suite we had paid for. He gave us that room at no extra charge, but we soon discovered that this is a ploy in Egypt so we wouldn't complain about the problems with the room. It had just been renovated with beautiful stone just like in the photos, but everything was a little bit broken. It had a rain shower, but it must have been filled with grit from the reno as more water sprayed the ceiling than came through the shower head. There was a lot of hot water though and I appreciated having our own hot water tank for the suite. The television was poorly placed jutting out from the wall so that when I got up from bed in the dark, I hit my head on it almost every time. No English channels that I could find. Having spent almost a month in Egypt, this seems to be the standard, but I paid a lot for this particular hotel and it wasn't worth the price. The staff were lovely though.
- Hagar (10/5): Private and Authentic - It's cosy and comfortable. Great quiet neighbourhood, helpful staff, the beds are comfy and clean. Not for people looking for fancy but rather privacy and sincerity.
- Imogen (10/5): Perfect for 1 night in Cairo - Great breakfast. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Very quaint, little hotel. We very much enjoyed our 1 night stay here
- Mahmood (4/5): Disappointing -
- Alina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wasim (7/5): Good -
- Afaf (4/5): Not too bad for the price - I liked the staff , very friendly but the rooms are not clean. There was dust everywhere. The internet was spotty.
I recommend this place if you are vacationing and spending your time outside. Not recommended if you are working or in need of internet.

- Playanplay (6/5): Pleasant - Location, restaurant, friendly staff The room was awful. White colored walls were totally dirty by hand, foot, shoes, lipstick, pencil etc.
Furniture is old fashioned and it is not big problem.
The bathroom was something unique. I will attach the ceiling photo.
All water staff are dropping and flowing unstoppable. The ceiling is affected by black fungus.
I thought that the room was occupied by gypsies before me.
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Ali (1/5): Bad - The reception guy was very rude and didn’t like the way he treated my wife.
- Pentek (7/5): Good -
- Papazoglou (10/5): Exceptional -
- Williams (5/5): Shell game - The staff is always great and the location is good. There are many good restaurants within a short walking distance. It seems the management has changed. I booked a triple room for 3 guests. A friend joined us making 4 guests. I called the hotel and explained, they said we could upgrade to a suite. I agreed to pay the difference, about 25 dollars per night. The room was not a suite. It was the standard double room with a sheet on the futon. I could have had 2 double rooms for less money. I pointed this out to the management. They didn't care. The futon was not comfortable.
- Adrian (7/5): Good -
- Sunil (1/5): Worst experience.. no facility - Nothing Even friends colleagues can't visit rooms staying in same floor
- Hagar (9/5): Cosy stay at the heart of Cairo. - The room is clean and spacious. The staff is friendly. The location is close to the city centre, and restaurants. All nice
- Ghada (9/5): Superb - The poeple here are very mice, they would do anything to make you fewl comfy, it will not be my last visit, more to come
- Amminikutty (4/5): Disappointing - Very less selection. Need to add more items Even there is no provision for ironing the dress. No iron box or table available.
- Nawar (9/5): Superb -
- Nagah (8/5): Very good -
- Jonalyn (2/5): THIS HOTEL CAN BE YOUR LAST OPTION - This hotel cannot be recommended for a group of friends as they have very strict policy. VERY BAD. We will never comeback in this hotel at all.
- Nawar (8/5): Very good -
- Yousra (9/5): Overall cozy trip, thank you! - The staff is extremely friendly professional and courteous, and very helpful! The place itself is decent from the outside, cozy elegant location with minimal noise ar night, I have already recommended them to my friend in Dubai. There were initially some bumps, but they promptly provided solutions and were accommodating, I appreciated their admirable initiative. Great management and customer service skills. Starting @ the front desk to the restaurant, Thanks! :-).
- Mutaz (8/5): Very good -
