• Jacob (5/5): If you are short on cash, it’s better than camping out. - It was cheap and close to the on-ramp. Staff were courteous. Cleanliness was lacking and rooms were under furnished, with antiquated security. Doors easily allowed crickets to enter.

• Blair (4/5): Will not recommend this motel. - Bed Charged $20 per deposit per dog while charge for service dog is violation of federal law. Had total of 3 dogs. No shampoo or body bath. A lot of existing damage in the room and very outdated. No guest coffee. Motel is in dire need of internal and external upgrades per deposits are too high.

• Timothy (10/5): - Friendly check-in—professional. Room seemed to have been freshly painted. Typical loud air conditioner unit for room. Good towels! Reasonable beds; very clean & fresh bedding. Satellite TV. Exterior door to room needs new locks hardware to feel safer for room security. Hotel is quiet, in a uiet location. Exterior of hotel is run-down—an older property. Attached restaurant is closed/not operating—where to get a breakfast in town on a Sunday morning? Pool cover (inside the fence) seems like a permanent fixture. Driveway & parking lot full of potholes. Adjacent gas stations with convenience stores.

• MATTHEW (8/5): Dont be fooled... - Do not let the outside view fool you. Yes, there were literally cows right outside of check in. Check in was pretty simple but you may have to "call" someone down as the check in is not staffed. Our room was recently renovated and was quite nice with a fridge and microwave. Bathroom had great water pressure. Make no mistake this place is the definition of "no frills" but it is the only game in town and our room was worth the price.

• MISTI (6/5): Roadside Motel - Check-in was fine. I was shocked when my credit card number as physically written on the paper check in form. Didnt appear to have a computerized system at all. The jey to the room was an actual key on a keychain. The inside of the room has been remodeled and updated. However, outside of the property is in disrepair. Looks like a rundown, roadside motel that you'd see in a horror movie. The parking lot has large holes, the wooden fence around the pool was leaking and had severely pealing paint. This was the only motel within semi close vicinity.
• David (9/5): A great value for a nice room! - The remodeled rooms were very nice, the beds very comfy, and it was easy to set the temperature controls. The door locks were a little sticky, and the parking area had some large potholes, so drive slowly.

• Sara (8/5): Very good - I needed to stay in Osawatomie for a workshop. This is basically the only option. The bed was quite comfortable and the shower had great pressure and was hot. For as much snow as was on the ground, I was very happy to have a place to stay. It is older, but it's clean. Very hospitable, making sure I wouldn't have to go through too much snow.

• Edith (9/5): Just what I needed. - I was charmed by the beautiful garden in front surrounding the hotel's sign. The proprietors were so friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are not fancy, but very comfortable and clean.

Excellent value for the money. The only downside was that the door locks were not the greatest. It would be nice to see better doors and locks, but for the price, this was ok.

• Wagner (7/5): Great place to stay for the value. It's important to look past first impressions... :) - I liked how quiet this hotel was! The room was clean, neat, and met our needs. The parking lot was full of holes. The building exterior and the lobby were quiet old and cluttered and not very appealing to the eye.

The toilet had not been flushed in a while as there were teeny little things swimming in it...perhaps mosquito larvae?

• Brian (6/5): Stayed a few days while I looked for better accommodations. - The location was okay. Not far off the freeway, so it was easy to get to and to leave. The walls we stained a little. The floors were a little dirty, not vacuumed very well and the tile didn't look like it was mopped in a while. The walls were very thin, I had no choice but to listen to what the next room was watching on TV. The lighting was hard to get used too. Some of the lights had a pullstring, some had switches, and some worked with the light switch. The ac/heater didn't work very well. The toilet wobbled when sat on making it hard to get off.

• Jolie (4/5): Rundown inn - Room was nice and clean but toilet needed plunging immediately for no reason. Outside was awful, rundown. My biggest problem is there was no consistency with desk help and rates. I requested a late check out which they did agree to but when i went to the office in the morning to request a 3pm check out a new person was at the desk who failed to inform me they would charge a whole nights stay. I had done a 3pm checkout 6 months prior and it was much less $. When I checked out a 3rd guy was there who insisted they couldn't use the room after 3pm and would give me a discounted rate over double the late checkout fee i had paid before. When i brought up the previous fee and that the guy in the morning didn't say anything, he wouldn't budge. I won't go back.

No lights in parking lot, weeds everywhere, fencing around property was rotted and broken, the pool looks as if it hasn't been open in years. It really looks like something from the 70s. Very run down. if your traveling don't even consider staying there.

• MaCall (6/5): - There was no computer. The host wrote all my info down on a piece of paper which made me very uncomfortable. The shower curtain wasn’t long enough so water got all over the floor. We were busy all day and didn’t get back to the room till 10 pm. We went to the office to get more towels . They were open until 10:30. The manager was very rude about us needing 2 more towels . I said all the towels in the room we had to use to clean up the water mess on the floor so we need 2 new towels to shower with. He had a bad attitude and made me frustrated . We stayed 2 nights and didn’t need anything besides 2 towels. I don’t understand why there needed to be attitude . I tried calling before we left that morning but the phone didn’t work. Also informed the host of that and he suggested I pull the king mattress out from the wall and make sure it was plugged in. I’m not doing that . The vanity light didn’t work and had exposed wires and unfinished drywall. It was clean but unfinished and not reminded professionally. Plus the attitude I got was very unprofessional and unnecessary

• Natasha (1/5): Didn’t stay here I drove 10 more mins and stayed in Paola they were welcoming there. - Not one thing - I wouldn’t even stay here and didn’t stay here The images shown are not from this hotel , you walk into the office and are greeted by a hoard of mattresses, boxes and a lovely smell of the litter box. The owner/manager was rude and wanted an additional 100 or to hold my bank card! The outside of the facility looks perfect for the occasional street walker and DEA busting down doors. Do not waste your time or money here!

Lobby was cluttered, plexiglass shield protecting check-in counter smugged, not clean. Bathroom small, cramped. Beds are mattresses on steel cot-type frames. Fencing around garden deteriorating wood. Not attractive.

• Melissa (10/5): - Nice quiet & tidy place. Not the most modern, but definitely well-kept. I thought it was unique that two of the sides had a nice, peaceful cemetery and some farm animals. The office had a very cute orange & white cat too and cat people are the best people! The gentleman who checked us in was very nice too.

The room was very clean and roomy and on first floor witch was a plus. The bed was very uncomfortable felt like laying on a bar all night made my back hurt. The parking lot was completely full of potholes and hard to drive on with new car. And didn't like idea of no bathtub only stand up shower hard to soak.

• Jerry (10/5): Great place to stay. - The Owner and His family are very nice people that always aim to please. Everything was very clean and in working order, beds are comfortable. Everything is close by from Casey's to Sonic and downtown. We've stayed several times for various reasons from weather to just getting out of town and have always been pleased with our stay. This last time we needed to check in early and they accommodated us with no extra charges. The only downside is prices are high for a motel in this space. The Ice machine is a little inconvenient to get to and is closed off after 1100pm or so.
