- Lisa (6/5): Waters inn - The owner was friendly.. turned on the cable box for me.. tightened the toilet seat but i think it was too far gone to fix and later in the night it fell right off! It was an OK place...i thought it was in Gaylord but it was in water.. with a Gaylord address... very nice guy running this place... it makes a difference.

Shower is VERY small, but I doubt my 6'4" 250 lbs boyfriend would fit for a decent shower, Beds were hard and pillows flat, but if that is your preference, then don't hesitate to stay at this little gem. Bar & grill across the street...didn't go

- Brian (10/5): - A small beautiful motel away from the crowded city. But close enough to be considered Gaylord. The rooms were clean, manager was nice, they had a nice TV and bed plus a fridge. Everything I needed really. I will stay here again for sure. There’s only a few rooms. So not all noisy!! 9/10!

The bathroom is really small, while adequate, but very difficult to maneuver around. It didn’t ruin the trip, but something to note for families or tall visitors.

- Kathleen (6/5): Rock hard bed. - Two things. One actually cannot be helped. That’s the bathroom. You can barely turn around in the shower and if you bend forward on the toilet you smack your head into the wall. But on thing that truly ruined the night was the mattress that was so hard I was in pain all night long. It should have been changed out years ago.

- Janine (4/5): - We really wanted to like this motel. They accommodated us with an early check in and Bob was very gracious. Unfortunately, the room was very dark. We had every light on in the place but it was still gloomy. The bed needed a new mattress, the chairs were comfortable for about 5 minutes, and the air conditioner was not functioning to cool the room down. Because the room was so stuffy, we departed for the next leg of our trip at 5 am.

- Sue (10/5): - This cute hotel was perfect, homey and very very clean. We will be staying again. We were much happier than a stay in Grayling at larger chain hotel that was disgustingly dirty and more expensive. Bob is an excellent host. Thanks Bob!
- John (6/5): - Knobs on doors were consumer-grade and the fact that our door appeared to have been kicked in in the past made us feel less safe. My wife wedged a chair under the door knob. Toilet leaked from underneath - enough to put a towel down, and the floors squeaked loudly. Owner was nice, there’s a charm to this place we both enjoyed. Directly across the street from the Keg Diner which was excellent.

After finding the hotel it is actually a Waters, Mi address. So if you want to be in Gaylord this is not the place for you.

- AUGUST (8/5): - Very nice, neat, clever decorating.Pricing high, and higher than led to believe on web advertising. Bathroom is very small. Couldn't sit down on toilet without knees scrunched by wall. Too small for very tall, 6'FT , or very heavy, 250 lb folks.

- Alvern (6/5): - I know it was a weekend and peak leaf viewing time but thought the rates were pretty steep for the type of accommodation. Clean and quite comfortable bed but just one straight back chair ,no tissues, tiny bathroom. The owners have done a nice job of decorating the rooms in unique decor.
