Pas d’électricité dans la cuisine obligé de mettre la cafetière sur une prise dans le salon. Internet ne fonctionnait pas, les piles de la télécommande de la tv étaient mortes et pour finir le filtre à café usagé était encore dans la cafetière! L’immeuble est en travaux, avec des plaques de plâtre partout dans le hall d’entrée. Jusqu’à ce que je signale les problèmes dans l’appartement l’hôte était réactif aux questions mais après aucunes nouvelles sauf « tout marche comme il se doit » . Autant vous dire que cette mauvaise fois ne passe pas et que ne recommande pas ce logement ni cet hôte.
• Michele (3/5): - Ci hanno consegnato l'appuntamento con 3 ore di ritardo sull'orario di check in nonostante avessimo detto che mi ero infortunato e avevo bisogno di sdraiarmi. L'host è stata poco presente, dalle 17 del pomeriggio e per tutto il soggiorno non ha risposto ai messaggi e non si è preoccupata del disagio. Nessuno ci ha informato che il palazzo è in ristrutturazione e alle 7,30 del mattino iniziano dei rumorosissimi lavori. Il bagno è assolutamente un orrore, con tubi a vista arrugginiti, la cucina poco attrezzata non abbiamo trovato neppure le buste per l'immondizia. Mai trovato in Finlandia un servizio così scarso, sconsigliatissimo

Luego el apartamento estaba totalmente invadido por objetos personales de los propietarios. La ropa de cama dejaba mucho que desear, nos picaba todo el cuerpo. La limpieza del apartamento bastante pobre. Por otro lado también nos cortaron el agua. Nada de lo que pueda aportar va a ser bueno, fue una verdadera tortura.

• Bovtona (7/5): Our stay in Helsinki - Free parking for car, good view from balcony, outside was a playground for kid. ~20 min to Helsinki cathedral by foot. Grocery shop is very close. Very accurate instructions about check-in. Bathroom was funny, can't lock the door, everything working tho. Apartment was very hot during the night. No one warned about renovations in the building.
• Patrick (1/5): Stay somewhere else - The kitchen looked good This apartment is located in the worst part of Helsinki, my girlfriend did not feel safe walking from the apartment to the car by her self as we saw a lot of shady people in and around the apartment. The host recommended that we not keep our stuff in the car as it might not be safe there. The building was very old and dirty outside and in the garage. The apartment looked fine when we first came in but then we noticed how dirty it was especially the shower. There was mold growing in the shower and not just a bit, there was just no way taking a shower there would leave you feeling clean. The view was advertised as a sea view but the picture on booking is not from the apartment, while technically yes you can see the water ever so slightly there are multiple ugly buildings that block the view. The windows were very dirty as was the balcony. Over all the place did not feel safe and for about 100 euros for the night we expected far more. If you pay 20-30 euros more you can stay in a lovely hotel at the hart of Helsinki so I strongly advise other travelers to pay slightly more so you don't experience this disappointment. We chose to not stay at the property, we contacted the host immediately as we were checking out not 10 minutes after we arrived and the host stopped answering all messages. Very disappointed and sad that this was the visit to Helsinki
• Emma (7/5): Convenient location and comfortable flat. - Good value for a stay close to downtown Helsinki, with a supermarket right on the doorstep. The flat was warm, and had everything we needed. There were some wet towels in the flat when we arrived, which seemed to have been overlooked, but this was just a minor issue. It was otherwise fine.

Flat is in an ugly skyscraper, no seaside view : view on neighbours flats from the next building. Didficult to find the parking slot among the huge unserfround car park. A little far from the center.

• Jyrki (9/5): Superb - Location is superb, very easy to get to the downtown of Helsinki. They were doing some construction work so it was a bit of a hazzle to get by with the car. The neighborhood looked a bit old, with 80s concrete buildings, but the people were very nice and friendly, it was really peaceful and nice there. The bathroom was a bit old, kitchen lacked some basic utensils.

Sólo te dejan una toalla para 4 adultos. Los botes de champú y gel vacíos todos. El lavavajillas sucio con los restos de comida de los anteriores inquilinos. El baño ha sido lo peor vamos para vomitar. Las fotos que te pone en el anuncio del apartamento no esperes que sea así.. Pedí solución a la dueña con fotos y también a Expedia y me quedé esperando .No volveré a reservar nunca más con Expedia.

There was garbage left in the garbage bins. It is difficult to find where we have to take garbage, the instructions were unclear. There was some food left in the fridge. A lot of dust (on the TV, under the bed). For three adults we were provided only one full size blanket, while the other two were children-size blankets. The blankets themselves were badly pit in the sheets. In general, the impression was that the owner didn't care about cleaning at all. There is quite poor light in the bathroom, only one small half-working lamp.

Dirty bathroom and cabinets, extremely ugly bathroom with weird piping and small + uncomfortable. shouldn’t take much to improve it and renovate.

• Thomas (1/5): Shockingly poor - Location was ok Diishwasher barely usable, took 5 attenpts: full of dirty dishes: probably cause the dishwasher barely works and is unfathamable, loose mouldy rusty water pipes hanging off the wall, shower sprays water in all directions, crossover tap switch barely works and is very tricky, Washing machine facing into the shower, no powder or liquid for it. Request for one hour early check in approved the day after we arrived. Tv doesn't work, bus stop isn't where it's claimed, 3 towels for a booking of 5, Almost no communication from host, when there was it was rude and angry. Astonished this person is in the hospitality business.

These days there is a big construction in progress, so there is no way to reach the city center on foot (we used a car). Was a bit cold in the apartment, and no heating facilities were found. The bathroom and washing amenities demand renovation.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Kiinteistöön oli helppo löytää perille, ainoastaan parkkipaikan löytäminen oli tuottaa tuskaa, sillä paikat eivät olleet täysin loogisessa järjestyksessä. Ovikoodin avulla pääsimme helposti rakennukseen sisälle. Rappukäytävät ja hissit olivat karmeat, mutta ei tietenkään olennaista tässä tapauksessa. Huoneistoon sisään astuessa ensivaikutelma oli positiivinen. Kivan mallinen pohja, yleissiisti, hiljattain uusittu keittiö, siistit huonekalut ym. Parveke oli myös siisti ja osittainen näkymä merelle. Ainoastaan läkkäämpi kylpyhuone ja kosteudesta turvonneet lastulevykaapit laskivat hieman viihtyvyyttä.

• TIEN DUNG (10/5): Great seaside apartment within reach of everything - The stay is amazing. The apartment is in a seaside complex, which has all restaurants, grocery stores (European or Asia) nearby. Apartment is clean, tidy and stylish. It has every facilities you need (kitchenware, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine...). The apartment has its own private parking permit (but we dont use as do not travel by car) Landlord is very helpful, giving us detail instruction. Check in / check out is super easy (even for late check in like on our case) The neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. Two tram/bus stations are nearby around 400m (one has metro) so you could easily go to anywhere you like. When we are in Helsinli, mostly we catch the tram 5 (to Viking line), 6, 7(to centre), 4 (museum). Or walk 25' to the centre, your choice. All in all, this is one of our most satisfactory stay during our 1month European travel. And its price is reasonable compared to how expensive it is in those Nordic countries.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not easy to contact and bad service - The check-in service is not very good. The company sent an e-mail with instructions, but this e-mail drowns in all other e-mails from hotels.com. When trying to contact the company regarding the check-in procedure, it was impossible to reach them. The Hotels.com app listed one phone number, and the booking confirmation e-mail listed another phone number, but neither of the phone numbers worked. Just some beeping from the Finnish phone system. After correcting the index number, we just got an answering machine in Finnish. Hotels.com was very helpful but could neither contact the company on any of the phone numbers they had. I got the "correct" phone number to use when contacting the company. We ended up in spending the first night in another hotel. We called the new number, just being redirected to another number, referring to an e-mail sent earlier. This e-mail was confusing and difficult to understand. The apartment itself was not too bad, we got what we expected. But the cleaning could have been better. Several places were not washed/cleaned as expected. Another thing is that the apartment may get very warm, if it is very hot in Helsinki (it was 30 degrees Celsius when we were there). So, all in all, I cannot give a good recommendation since the check-in service is awful and it is almost impossible to contact the company responsible for the apartment, as well as the bad cleaning of the apartment.
