Room is two story. Nice but small stairs made a little uncomfortable. They should have a hand rail for safety on rails. Easy to fall on floor if not careful.

Shana (10/5): Was an amazing stay, especially for a staycation. - The staff were amazing, making getting our food deliveries at all hours easy. The location was highly strategic as there were lots of food around and it was a relatively close walking distance from public transportation such as the MRT. The smart TV had lots of options which helped with the homey vibes of the room. The second floor has quite a short ceiling and the AC didn't get that part as cold as the bottom floor. The stairs did get quite loud as we went up and down so there was worry that we were disturbing other guests,

I found the housekeeping young man very professional quick at cleaning the room everyday . A lot of restaurants in area ,including across the street a great restaurant. The hotel had a nice cosy swimming pool. I really would stay anywhere else in Jakarta. I was a manager of a large hotel in Sydney Australia and was impressed by the staff work ethics and helpfulness. The room was very cosy,clean and well maintained everyday by housekeeping.

Aprisa (9/5): My fave stay in Jakarta! - I didn't expect much when I booked. But turned out, recommended! Will definitely repeat my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was cosy and quiet. The bed was soft and nice. The bathroom was equipped with soap and shampoo from Sensatia which was nice. I could borrow hairdryer. The internet connection was decent. Around the area there were nice coffeeshops. Didn't manage to use the swimming pool or gym. Will do next time! Asem II Street where the hotel is can be busy at times so calculate your trip well.

Frederick (10/5): Great Place to Stay in Cipete, South Jakarta - If you want to experience a local neighborhood in South Jakarta this is the perfect place. Great location (near the French School & Lycee, and not far from Kemang Raya & Cipete Raya), friendly staff, a gym+pool, and nice clean rooms. Continental breakfast delivered to room a nice touch, but could be improved by including tea or coffee in the price.... I recommend White Tree Residence highly.

Anya (3/5): Hotel cancelled our booking - We arrived at Jakarta in the morning and went to visit some friends. As the Sat evening traffic was heavy and it was raining, we decided to have dinner before heading to the hotel. Hotel called us 5.12 pm and told us that if we didn't pay by local bank transfer by 6 pm, booking would be cancelled. I didn't have any local card so I told the hotel that booking.com has had the cc information. Hotel replied that the cc is deemed void since the holder's name (my spouse) was different than the booker's name (mine). They said again that they would only hold the booking until 8 pm. If you know Jakarta's Saturday night traffic than you know you can't really change plans last minute. So I told them we were having dinner at our friends and it might not be possible to reach by 8 pm. They insisted that the hotel could only wait until 8 pm FYI this whole "rule" was never informed earlier. This was actually the second time we booked at this hotel, and we didn't have issue with our first stay. Had we received this information in advance we could've planned our visit better. The way things were handled were very unprofessional and unreliable. Totally disappointing since our first visit was quite ok.
