- Huiling (9/5): A Charming Ottoman House and Town - This is an over-300-year-old konak (traditional Ottoman house). We booked it specifically for the experience of Ottoman-era life, and it met our expectations. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Its location was very convenient—we walked to the attractions and the old town. Wish there were ample parking space.

- JIE (9/5): - 位置很好，酒店对面小空地可以停车。步行可至游客一条街，吃饭也很方便，对面有个小便利店。订了2间3人房，房间不大，卫生间稍小，木头的窗户不太隔音，斋月期间能很清楚地听见街道上的鼓声，很特别的体验。没有电梯，楼梯窄且抖，对老年人不太友好，但是想体验下奥斯曼的建筑，还是很推荐的。房东很友好，免费的早餐也很丰盛。

- Juan (10/5): Best hotel ever - The best host ever in my traveling. I hurt my knee the day before I arrived. The host took me to the pharmacy in his own car and then brought me to the hospital to see the doctor, helped me communicate with the doctor in Arabic. After I received X-ray examination, he took me to the pharmacy again and bought the medication for me. After we returned to the hotel, I rested in my room. His wife brought me dinner and breakfast the next morning. When I left, he insisted that the meals were their treat, for free. I would love to recommend them to all travelers. They treat the travelers not only as their guests, but also as friends. The family has held the hotel for 14 years. It’s a typical local house, walkable to everywhere. Clean and comfortable room. Quiet town. Nothing

Внутри отель тоже очень аутентичный, уютные интерьеры из дерева, чисто и по домашнему. Владельцы приветливые и рады помочь. Очень плохой искусственный свет. В номере висит тусклая потолочная лампа, свет от неё очень неуютный и холодный, так что жили при включённом бра. Но такой свет был во всех трёх отелях, в которых мы были за отпуск, так что видимо проблема повсеместная.
- Soohu (10/5): A great Konak hotel to experience the local life here - Great location. Near to most of the sights. Easy parking next to hotel towards the mosque. The owner helped me with the bags since my room was upstairs. Staying here gave me the experience how the people used to live in a Konak. Nothing. The call to prayers 5 times a day did not bother me at all, as this is how the locals lived. Its a good experience living next to a mosque.

It is an old Ottoman style, traditional house, converted to the hotel. We felt that provision of required services, while preserving authentic facility was done very well, and we felt really nice. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was really good. It is a two minute walk to the old town where there are all kinds of shops and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I live in Istanbul so I'm often in Safranbolu for weekend breaks. Wouldn't recommend it

Rooms: The rooms are tastefully decorated, combining traditional Ottoman charm with modern comforts. My room was clean, spacious, and filled with character. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the decor. Service: The hospitality at Arifbey Konak was exceptional. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Location: The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Safranbolu’s old town, within walking distance of many historical sites and attractions. It’s an ideal base for exploring the area’s unique architecture and picturesque streets. Due to the nature of the traditional building, sound-proofing is somewhat lacking. At times, it could be a bit noisy, especially with sounds from the road. However, this is a minor inconvenience considering the overall charm and experience the hotel offers.

I don't know much about other hotels in Safranbolu, but it seems to me it could be the best option :) I highly recommend this place and don't hesitate to book a room here if you are looking for a home feeling and great welcome :) Everything was great and amazing!

Gezerken bir kaç konak daha baktım ama bu oteldeki veranda tarzı bir yeri olan başka konak görmedim. Verandası keyif verici. Oda 3 yataklı ve gayet büyüktü. Eski bir yapı olduğunu unutmamak gerekiyor, o yüzden kahvaltı yaptığınız alan çok büyük değil ama yeterli. Kahvaltı konusunda sıkıntı yaşamadım, gayet yeterliydi, 5 yıldızlı otel beklentisinde değildik ama gayet doyurucu idi. İşletmeci Mustafa Bey gayet olumlu ve ilgili biri. Tekrar Safranbolu'ya gelecek olursam tekrar kalacağım.

- Liujun (8/5): Good stay - The location is easy to find just right beside the main road in old town . I drove there , there is parking in the front of Otel , the owners are nice , but they don't speak more English , so very hard to communicate.
