We had such a marvelous stay, the host is fantastic. The location is bit remote with mountain driving not terrible, but must be comfortable with that.

B.Jansen (10/5): Wauw! Fantastische route, zeer net en sfeervol hotel, prachtig uitzicht! - Wauw! Gelegen in de bergen en was het al een hele beleving om hiernaar toe te rijden. Bij aankomst vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar die ons de kamer heeft laten zien. Werkelijk alles van dit hotel is tot in de puntjes afgewerkt. De eigenaar heeft veel liefde in dit hotel gestopt, zeer stijlvol ingericht, natuurlijke elementen gebruikt. Ruime kamer. Uitgebreid ontbijt. Voor lunch en diner kun je een weggetje naar beneden rijden en in het dorp is een restaurantje met lekkere lokale gerechten (lees groentes van het seizoen uit de bergen). Er is niet veel te doen in de nabije omgeving maar je kunt vanaf hier hiken in de bergen of een dagje erop uit naar onder andere de grote stad Sparta. Zorg dat je voor het donker terug bent omdat de weg bochtig is. In de avond is het heerlijk vertoeven op het grote dakterras met bar in het hotel met een waanzinnig uitzicht. De avond koelt lekker af op deze plek. Kom je voor rust, dan is deze plek de place to be! Wij hadden deze plek niet willen missen! Er is in de directe omgeving niet veel te doen.

KaterinaHappytoStay (10/5): Amazing, cozy stay in the middle of a small village and nature - Lovely eco-friendly hotel with character, in the middle of nature, super clean, spacious rooms. The mountain view from the balcony was fantastic. The breakfast super fresh, homely made and delicious. If I have to add something, I would appreciate a kettle in the room, but I mention this as an extra. Everything was super nice. The staff super friendly and helpful.

L’aide au portage des bagages. Le petit déjeuner. Le cadre, le calme. Le changement de chambre pour une soit disant meilleure mais un lit double et un petit lit au lieu de deux lits doubles.

The hotel is located in an excellent spot, in the heart of a picturesque village, offering a wonderful view of nature. The guesthouse is beautifully stone-built, blending traditional architecture with modern amenities. The area is ideal for enjoying peace and natural beauty, while the holiday seasons provide a unique festive atmosphere. The staff is polite and helpful, offering a warm and welcoming feel. It is an excellent choice for those looking for relaxation and beautiful landscapes in every corner. A downside of the guesthouse is the small number of staff, which results for instance in older guests having to carry their own luggage up several steep stairs. Additionally, the breakfast could certainly be more abundant, as it currently falls below average in terms of the options available. Lastly, the lounge room is closed in the afternoon (14:00-17:00) and remains open only until midnight, which may not be convenient for all guests.

The location of the guesthouse is fantastic, offering an incredible view of the village below and stunning landscapes. It’s a beautiful blend of traditional architecture and modern amenities, which really adds to the charm. The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring. The staff, though a bit understaffed, were warm and friendly, and their hospitality stood out. The village below is lovely and adds a nice touch to the overall experience. While the location and amenities have many positive aspects, as mentioned above, there are a few issues that potential guests should be aware of. One of the most significant drawbacks is the many stairs. If you're carrying luggage, it can be quite challenging, especially for elderly individuals or those with mobility issues. It would be ideal if they provided assistance. Breakfast options were not disappointing, but the choices were average. I was hoping for a more diverse or higher-quality selection. Another issue was the lack of 24/7 availability. The lounge room closed at certain hours, and there was no one at the reception outside of regular hours. This could be problematic in case of emergencies or if you need assistance at night. Despite these shortcomings, I would recommend this guesthouse to those who appreciate a cozy, well-located place with a nice blend of old and new.

Rupert (10/5): Wonderful and atmospheric location. - Stunning, remote location. Beautifully presented rooms and a very generous breakfast. The taverna in the village was closed, so we had to eat early in Mystras because the village is so far from anywhere else. The owner was good enough to inform us of this in advance.

Cornelius (9/5): As a remote hotel in the mountains - perfect. - Very nice houses with a brilliant view on the mountains. High building standard. I guess due to the remote location it‘s sometimes hard to calculate full supplies for the breakfast.

Liran (9/5): מקום וואו אבל לא מתאים לכל אחד - מקום פסטורלי מדהים על צלע הר, מרפסת צופה על הנוף המדהים שקט מופתי. חדרים איכותיים ללא צורך במזגן באוגוסט כי המקום כל כך גבוהה. לובי מדהים שמשקיף על הכוכבים. אוויריה וואו ארוחת בוקר מאוד מאוד מינימליסטית. ביצה קשה בלבד. רוצים חביתה? תשלמו. קפה רק ממיחם. רוצים קפוצינו? תשלמו. אין ערכת קפה ותה בחדר וההגעה למקום מלווה בהמון פיתולים וסיבובים. דרך קשה מאוד אבל שווה את ההגעה למי שמחפש שקט ורוגע.

István (8/5): Szép hely, de inkább csak rövidebb időszakra megfelelő szállás. - Szép környezet, de körülményes megközelíthetőség. Főleg a hegyi kis településeken keresztüljutni nem egyszerű. A szoba tágas, jól felszerelt. Jó méretű fürdőszobával, az átlagnál nagyobb zuhanyzóval. A reggeli elégséges választlkú, viszont jó minőségű. A megközelíthetőség nem egyszerű. Kanyargós hegyi utak. Itt elsősorban 1-3 éjszakát célszerű eltölteni. Ennél hosszabb időszaknál már kényelmetlen a környező vagy tágabb környezet felfedézése.

Karen (10/5): Peaceful retreat in the mountains of the Peloponnese - Beautiful property in a stunning setting. Our room was very comfortable & spotlessly clean. The staff made us feel so welcome. The breakfast buffet was beyond expectation - a huge choice of homemade hot & cold food including fabulous cakes & pastries. Nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed using the cafe/bar for morning coffee & evening drinks sat on the balcony with stunning views of the mountains. This is truly a place to experience peace & quiet as well as de stress from the demands of everyday life. We can’t recommend it enough. Nothing

Johan (9/5): - Prachtig hotelletje met grote, mooi ingerichte kamers en heel fijne loungebar. Het hotel ligt om een berghelling met de parking onderaan. Dat betekent stevig zeulwerk met de koffers via een steile trap om tot aan de receptie en de kamers te geraken.

Emily (10/5): Beautiful place - 2nd visit because I love the deco, location, the views, the exhaustive breakfast buffet prepared by lovely Rosy. We only stayed one night on the way back to Athens. But well worth it. Adonis and Kostas offer a warm welcome. The bar/lounge is beautifully decorated with art on the wall, and wide selection of bottles. Good music.
Carina (10/5): Prachtig hotel in prachtige natuur - De natuur, het gebouw is prachtig met steen en hout. Erg mooi. Balkon met geweldig uitzicht. Snachts sprookjesachtig uitzicht op de sterren, het dorp en de bergen. Het was heerlijk. Kom zeker terug. In de winter ook eens ervaren. Geen.
