STEPHANE (8/5): BEL HOTEL BIEN PLACE - Bel établissement avec un personnel très accueillant et aux petits soins. une piscine avec vue mer. petit déjeuner varié et de qualité même si parfois pas trop approvisionné. super emplacement pour descendre au port. nos chambres se trouvaient dans la partie non rénovée donc moins sympas. la plage de la piscine est un peu étroite et un nombre de chaises longues un peu restreint de ce fait

Lyn (10/5): Perfection in Paradise - Hotel was in the most gorgeous location, the pool overlooked the sea it was absolutely perfect! The rooms were cleaned daily to a great standard. The Hosts couldn't have been any more helpful. You do not need a beach towel as you are provided with towels around the pool. Although the pool is small there was never an issue getting beds in peak of Summer Everything was Perfect!

Welcome and breakfast all very good. We think they may have a couple of renovated rooms but unfortunately we didn’t have one of these. Our bathroom was particularly tired. On reflection for what we paid it didn’t feel good value for money based on that room only, if we had had one of the renovated rooms as shown on the internet we would have felt differently. Tired bathroom.

The pool was also beautiful. This was not their fault AT ALL, but while we were there the power went out twice and the water was also shut off, which was really inconvenient and uncomfortbale considering it was 95 degrees outside.

Erik (6/5): - Having stayed at this hotel in 2016 we were keen to return. Unfortunately overall it was a disappointment. We had already been in Amorgos for a few days and although we did not expect the room to be ready when we turned up at 11.30, it was not a very welcoming experience and we were told to return a little later. We left our luggage and went for lunch. The check-in procedure was rather slow despite doing all the paperwork online beforehand. The room was at the very back. It was obvious that the room had not been renovated in a long time and felt dated albeit clean. The balcony was indeed overlooking the sea but there was no sun nor would you be able to see the sunset from the balcony. During the night we were awoken multiple times by the air-conditioning unit making a loud noise. We tried to play around with the settings, but invariably after half an hour or so the sound would return. We informed the reception staff in the morning and went to have breakfast. Luckily the room was changed for one at the front with an excellent view and good water pressure. This made all the difference for the rest of our holiday. The breakfast did not change throughout our stay but was basic of reasonable quality. The staff were friendly and the pool area well maintained. Overall it was a mediocre stay in what could be a high-end boutique hotel.
Normanscicluna (10/5): Great Hotel to stay in Aegiali. - The hotel is nice with a lovely pool area, breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and accommodating. Room also had an excellent shower, a hair drier, TV, a refrigerator and also a safe. Location is excellent, just up a slight hill directly opposite the ferry landing and the bus stop. All the town, tavernas and bars, and the lovely beach are all a short walking distance. Everything was fine but maybe a clothes iron, a couple of tea spoons, maybe a corkscrew and bottle opener would have been nice. Perhaps the main lack is no insect screens on the apertures as the area is prone to mosquitos. An insect repellent device is provided, but apparently that isn't enough to keep them away.

Pamela (8/5): we would come again - location was close to the sea, tavernas, some lovely beaches and walking routes. Helpful staff and good breakfast with plenty of options. swimming pool a little tired looking and small - didn’t bother us as we prefer the sea.

Paula (10/5): I would return without hesitation - There is nothing not to like about this small and friendly hotel. Antonis is the owner and very warm and welcoming. The hotel is in walking distance from bars and restaurants and the beach. The rooms are spacious and typically greek with a decent bathroom, balcony with airer, comfy bed and tea/coffee making facilities. The pool area is small but very pleasant with patio tables and chairs and sun loungers and towels are provided free. The sun sets are beautiful. There is a bar that opens around 6pm but doesn't stay open late into the night. The breakfast is excellent with a good choice to suit anyone. I would return without hesitation. I liked everything. If you want to explore Amorgos, a car is essential.

Séjour début août 2022 Hôtel familial situé à 2 pas du port tout en étant au calme – Nous avions la vue mais pas le bruit !! Chambre simple et propre – Il serait agréable que le mobilier de la terrasse soit remplacé et ajusté au nombre de clients dans la chambre (nous étions 4 et avions 3 sièges sur le balcon…) Chambre familiale équipée d’une cuisine avec un grand réfrigérateur et suffisamment de vaisselles permettant de déjeuner ou dîner sur la terrasse Le buffet du petit déjeuner est constamment garni Wifi parfait

Nära till stranden och byn. Bra frukost. Rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell. Tack för en härlig vistelse. Återkommer gärna.

Andrew (10/5): Lovely family-friendly hotel - Fabulously welcoming and accommodating team, friendly without being at all overbearing. We had a great room with a balcony overlooking the sea - lots of space, super-clean. The whole hotel has a great ‘feel’: lovely round the pool (with pool towels provided!), spaces outside and between the rooms, everyone was smiling (guests and staff). Very good location, a few steps from loads of good restaurants. The 3* for eco-friendliness is because we’re not sure what to compare Yperia with: nothing worse that what other hotels do; nothing obviously eco-friendly.
