- Johan (9/5): I had a lovely stay, after all. Thank you. - The central location directly in the old city The shower room is too small, even for small person like me. I don’t think it’s suitable for tall or big people. But after all, it’s clean and totally functional.
- Ewa (10/5): Miło - Komfortowy pokój , czysto , blisko przystanek autobusowy, sklepy, cable car. Przepiękny old town .

- Piotr (10/5): - Exceptional location! Combined with great communication and flexibility regarding check-in late at night. Very helpful host! Thank you very much and all the best!
- Gloria (5/5): - Location was great! Room, condition of shared bathroom

- Nadia (9/5): - Staying here was wonderful. Right in the middle of the old town right next to Holy Burek, I was able to leave as early and return as late as possible, with cheeky little moments during the day for a quick shower or a nap. My room was clean and comfortable, not a lot of noise. The weather switched from hot to cold, so I was offered extra blankets just in case I was cold, which was really friendly! The bathroom is really small, but it's similar like staying in an apartment in Paris. There are so many trips and excursions available, and although I usually use GetYourGuide, there is a travel agency downstairs which I used because the prices and services were better, I did two trips and I highly recommend popping by the office and talking with them through your options. The bathroom is as clean as other people leave it, so better on some days than others.
- Michael (3/5): - I liked the staff and ease of access I did not like the bathroom and ability to find the location at first

- Rafal (7/5): Jestem zadowolony. - Lokalizacja Łazienka i kuchnia do lekkiej poprawy
- Kunstek (9/5): - Good location in a centre, beach was near, bus station near, shops near, very friendly staff there, and the price was very fair. I recommend for visiting.
- Liang (8/5): - Good location. Room is simple and clean, very friendly. Bed is too soft and uncomfortable. Only one very Tiny bathroom shared by all rooms. Narrow staircase, difficult to carry luggage up 3 floors. Facilities are old, definitely need to be improved.
- Emilia (7/5): -
- Travel is Life (8/5): Ensamresenär - Mycket nära till allt...
- Mohamed (8/5): - Non c’è il frigo in camera
- Vanja (1/5): Zeer slecht - Locatie. Alles voel mij tegen.
- Isabel (7/5): - Good location Very hot and only fan that wasn’t that good
- Erin (7/5): - Amazing location, right in the centre of the old town! Bedroom was great too. The shared bathroom was very dirty (they do have cleaners, but not very good ones...). It is also much smaller than it appears in the photos.
- Rose (2/5): Very poor - Location is great. Inside the Old Town just next to Pile Gate. The bathroom is horrible. Tight space and dirty. Empty bottles everywhere. Flush is right up next to the window. Terrible state. Shared with 4 other rooms.
- Hannah (7/5): Good -
- Isabella (7/5): Good -
- Minh (8/5): Budget friendly, comfortable stay with perfect location - Perfect location and great price for solo travelers!
I really enjoyed my stay — the location couldn’t be better, especially for someone who spends most of their time exploring outside. It’s budget-friendly and ideal for solo travelers. Plus, The Holy Burek is right downstairs - a delicious bonus! Definitely recommend. The fan/air conditioner was a bit loud
- Serena (7/5): Great - The bed were very comfortable, location was amazing! The woman was so friendly and she also owns a travel agency, so you can book boat trips etc for a discounted price. Bathroom was okay (good for the price). Could have done with a bit more if a thorough clean.
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - The room was an amazing location and just as advertised. Great value! Had a great stay here shared bathroom a tight squeeze but overall really enjoyed my stay!
- Hye (7/5): Good -
- Paula (8/5): Perfect for solo travelers - Great location! Very clean and confortable
- Cheryl (10/5): Great base in Old City, Dubrovnik - Fantastic location in Dubrovnik Old City, lovely staff on site (in Vagabundo Travel Agency on 2nd floor), tiny shared bathroom but adequate (next to our 3rd floor room), comfy beds, helped with our luggage (thanks again Eva), & electric jug to make a cuppa anytime. Beautiful sea breezes & all of the Old City easily accessible from our door. Very safe place to stay.
- Peter (10/5): the host with heart - the room was in heart of oldtown close to all site the girl working there was so kind one reason give high points the bathroom was small and one towel but she did say if I need to change she would over all good
- Stephen (9/5): Superb - It served its purpose exactly, I believe on a holiday all you need is a bed, toilet, Shower, electric outlets and wifi and it ticked them all. Yes the bathroom was shared but had no issues with others that were staying. Location was genuinely perfect. They’ve even got new air conditioning units to prepare for the summer The bathroom was a tad small, little bit hard to find the place even with the arrival package but they provide a number that you can call and they will help.
- Shishupal (7/5): Good -
- Naile (9/5): I enjoyed it very much! - Communication with the owner/manager before and during the stay.
- Harold (10/5): Nice - Good stay , comfortable nice rooms
- Vincenzo (6/5): Ok for a budget holiday, but get ready for the shower. - Great location, right in the heart of the old town.
A great host, she has been extremely kind and available for anything I needed during the stay. The property is not much taken care of, is quite clear the owner did not spend any money on trying to improve the guest experience in any way. The toilet is very very tiny, and is shared with all the other rooms. The common "kitchen" has virtually nothing useful, no fridge no microwave, nothing at all. Is just there and is also not very clean. The room itself was fine, very basic but fine. You get only 1 small shower towel, and that was not enough for me to be honest.
- Claire (7/5): Good -
- Gabriel (9/5): Superb - Comfortable room and great location Bathroom was small and the shower had no hangers so having a shower was a nightmare.
- Kamil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): I’d definitely stay there again when I’m back in Dubrovnik - It’s a really nice place, very clean and for great prices in the old town.
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant - Location was great in the Old Town, close to everything. The description isn't clear in telling us that we would share with 3 rooms. A tiny toilet and shower in the one cubicle.
Very loud.
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Azaria (7/5): Good -
- Agata (7/5): Decent value for the price. - Location is very good. It's in the old city. Staff was very friendly as well and made check in and check out very easy. The room had ventilators inside. It was clean as well. Decent value for the price. Room is not for tall people. A bathroom is very small, I think too small. It was very hot in the room - it was on the last floor, but ventilators were helpful. The directions to the apartament could be better - eg. sign on the front door.
- Hanna (1/5): Bad -
- Oulahna (8/5): Very good -
- Caitlin (6/5): The location was ideal, if the facilities were upgraded slightly, I would consider staying again. - The bed was comfortable and the view from my room was nice. The staff were also very nice. There was no air conditioning and the room I was in (the attic) really needed it. The bathroom was also not great, very small and often not stocked with toilet paper. The light also sometimes didn’t work.
- Oliver (7/5): Previous reviews seem a bit unfair. - Location was perfect in old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Traditional Croatian building. Beds were comfortable. No aircon. Bathroom was very small. Shower holder was broken (didn't stop us using the shower) but made it awkward.
- Shane (7/5): Good -
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - Nice bright airy room overlooking typical street in old town, comfortable beds, adequate fan, great location for exploring old town ,staff from the 1st floor tour agency always available Very small but functional clean shared (3 rooms) shower room, make sure you are happy before booking as it was the only location we encountered on our 5 week Balkan trip that took the money straight away giving no opportunity to change your mind, seemed expensive but probably good value for Dubrovnik!
- Matthew (10/5): Great spot! - Perfect location in the old town! Eva and miki were super helpful and friendly! Easy check in and check out processes It was pretty hot in the room without an aircon however we did have a fan!
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Jade (7/5): Great location, but only for 1 or 2 nights - Location was amazing! The bathroom facility was questionable. It's a shared bathroom that couldn't lock, it was really small and not that clean. The unwelcome surprise of a cockroach in our own room wasn't that nice either.
- Mariia (6/5): Pleasant - Nice location in the center, friendly staff, comfy bed, wi fi was good 1. The ceiling in the single attick room is very low. Those taller than 175 cm will likely struggle
2. During my 4 days stay we twice run out of toilet paper for half a day. Dear host, could you just leave some stock of toilet paper in the kitchen rather than leaving 1 roll per day in the bathroom?
3. There was no light in the bathroom for 2 days, guests were using their phones!!! to lighten the toilet
4. NO LOCK IN THE SHARED BATHROOM AND TOILET. I am surprised no one mentioned it. Dear host, please fix it, it's a no-brainer and costs peanuts. It's just unacceptable to leave it as is!
5. In june it's very hot in the attick room, around 30, even at night
- Ashley (2/5): - Rooms are small and do not have air conditioning, the manager and owner is very rude, had to beg the owner to change the locks on the door because they were not working, the bathroom was extremely small and never had toilet paper, the bathroom also did not have a lock on the door. Please spend a little extra money because this place is horrible.
- Mark (7/5): Good - Great location in the old town, attic room was comfortable despite being in the eaves. Kettle available and nice peppermint tea. Bathroom is tiny!
- Maxime (9/5): Superb - The staff was very available, and the location was perfect. The shared bathroom was also cleaned frequently. Not a problem for me, but the property is only accessible by narrow stairs.
- Monika (8/5): Perfect location, great host. Tall single traveler - read my full review :) - Perfect location and Iva is ahead of the game - making sure I knew everything I needed, very welcoming and helpful. She makes it a place that I’d recommend. The single room is not for tall (+ 5’11/180) people (I struggled a bit as the ceiling is not high enough), same as facilities like bathroom (which was tinier than I expected). Pictures are accurate enough. Many parties before the person who looks after you.
- Elena (7/5): Good -
- Graham (10/5): Would definitely stay again in the future. - Wonderful location in the Old Town that was easy to find with friendly, understanding staff. N/a
- Renu (8/5): Lovely stay - Nice cozy room .. best part was the location.
It was in the old town, next to the Main Street. Shred bathroom which was very small and no proper place to leave your luggage of you reach before check in time
- Antonio (6/5): Pleasant -
- Keith (7/5): Make sure you have a smart phone if you want to find out where your room is! - Great location, comfortable bed. I told the host when I was arriving but they still didn’t show up. I was lucky that I had a smart phone with a contact suitable to phone an international number in order to get in. Even then I had to use WhatsApp to show my passport to them.
Very shoddy & caused no end of stress at the start of my vacation. Very lazy!
- Liam (10/5): Great cheap room in the heart of dubrovnik old town - Cheap accomodatoion, Great location. Host was friendly and gave us recommendations on dubrovnik and places to eat/drink etc. Don't read all the bad reviews guys honestly nothing to complain about. If you want luxury you can't complain about about playing the price in this location. Fantastic would return again Nothing to complain about. Great stay. Thanks 😊
- Ricardas (8/5): Centre of old town - Location.
Place. Shower on other floor.
- Cosmin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Aidan (8/5): Very good - The location is unbeatable, our window shutters opened right over the streets of Dubrovnik's old town. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It can get hot during the summer, you are provided a huge industrial fan though, but it can be loud if you are sensitive to noise when you sleep. We would stay here again for the cosy room and amazing location. The apartments are not labelled very clearly. We were looking around and a man smoking on the corner asked us what we were looking for and then instructed us to follow him into an office that was advertising boat tours and demanded our passports and took photos with his phone. With there being no signage of the apartments in the office it felt very sketchy. However it turned out fine and he was filling in for the main host, I just feel like the place could use a bit of signage so it doesn't feel so dodgy. The only hint to go up the stairs is if you were looking to book a tour so it's very confusing. Also the bathroom is MINUSCULE and dated, and there is not a kitchen, just a sink and kettle.
This is not really criticisms of the place but more advice on how the host could improve it! Like I said, we would stay here again :)
- Amy (7/5): Great location - It does what it says on the tin. I wanted a place to stay that was affordable and within the walls of the old city so this room delivered both. Amazing location-wise.
Very clean and despite being a single room was very spacious.
Bathroom looks super old-fashioned but it's clean and functional. If you're used to hostels then you'll have no problems with it.

Very clean and despite being a single room was very spacious.
Bathroom looks super old-fashioned but it's clean and functional. If you're used to hostels then you'll have no problems with it. The room was a little hard to find being within a building with a tour company attached. There were no signs that I was in the right place other than the address.
- Jonah (9/5): Superb -
- Vincenzo (7/5): Good - great location in old town, friendly staff, room was big enough room got a bit warm even with the window open and fans on, not unbearable though. Also was left without toilet paper a few times in the bathroom
- Karla (1/5): Bad -
- Humphrey (6/5): - Very small and no aircon.
- Lynn (9/5): Superb - The communication was great, and I appreciated the easy check in, storing bags, etc. and how nice the host was. The location couldn’t be better. Nothing that they can control - it was very hot, but they did provide a fan when I asked. I was on the top floor, and I would caution anyone who might have trouble with steep stairs to be aware that it might be a challenge.
- Toby (7/5): Location location location - Such a good location in old town. Staff were legends It was so hot in the rooms. No windows in my room and only a fan which was not suitable for the weather. The shower and toilet were basically ontop of each other also
- Butler (7/5): Good -
- Alexander (5/5): Misleading shared bathroom information, extreme noise at 5-6am and poor AC fan - Location of the hotel is good but later you regret the only good thing Old Town streets are designed to have at least 1 restaurant per street some have 2/3. Also Old Town has car restrictions so imagine to clear the whole rubbish Old Town collects during day and to get alcohol deliveries they use access to town and drive inside before 6am so they can leave before restriction comes in at 7am. That involves extremely noisy wheel bins with rubbish and pump trucks with pallets being dragged with empty alcohol bottles, not one but a LOT all during 5:30-6am. If you close windows noise is still too much and room gets super hot cause fan isn't enough to cool the room down. So if you are type of person who goes sleep at 8pm and wakes up at 5:30 and doesn't party this place is for you. But for people who go out at night you won't sleep for the whole week
This place really needs a proper AC as I can't imagine sleeping in July as were there in June
Free toiletries which are described in description are hardly there we had hand soap mixed with water for 4 days and we had to go shop to get shower gel as there wasn't any
Whether it's Booking.com fault or host I don't know but it's misleading how it describes facilities. When I booked it said unit which means room comes with Toilet / Shower but really you have to go upstairs and it's shared.
I've included printscreens from previous bookings where bathroom and toilet is clearly labelled as 'shared'
It's a popular location so people will book no matter what but don't believe online blogs for staying inside Old Town, stay at Mline instead more calm and cheaper place with peace and quiet and get a bus to old town to explore when needed
- Jose (8/5): Great location! - Great location!! Bathroom!
- Samuel (6/5): Clean the bathroom. - great location, price and welcoming host. The shared bathroom is not cleaned often enough, running out of toilet paper,
- Nicolas (4/5): Meh and meh - Location and staff were really good. Bathroom is tiny and not en suite for the twin room. You need to wear your shoes to go in there, as it'll be soaked by anyone else who has had a shower.
Bedroom is average size, but extremely hot.
- Barbara (1/5): NOT the best place to stay if you want a clean bathroom. - The location was perfect - right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik. The bedroom was fine, and it was just as in the photos - spacious, well lit, comfy bed, etc. The shared bathroom was horrible! I didn’t realize I rented a room without its own bathroom. I asked for a refund if I would stay one night, and I was denied. This bathroom was to be shared by people in three rooms - that’s 6 people! Aside from the awful smell, there was mold and mildew in the shower area, the shower curtain was very dirty, on my initial visit there was no toilet paper anywhere to be found, and there was no lock on the door! All unacceptable! I could not make myself take a shower in this bathroom, and I asked myself if I could go without a shower for 6 nights (the time of my reservation), and I just couldn’t. Evidently there is a policy of no refund, regardless of reason. An unsanitary shared bathroom should be reason enough. I have not been refunded for the 5 nights I didn’t stay here. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. When I noted the conditions of the bathroom to Iva (the Manaagement?) she said that the bathroom couldn’t be cleaned every 5 minutes. What a joke! By looking at the posted photos, this bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in a very long time.
- Elena (6/5): Ok, for a short stay if you are not too fussy - Very well located right in the middle of old town. Very central, walking distance to pretty much all the sights. I wouldn't say that it's cheap, but Dubrovnik is generally very expensive, so the only other alternative for the same price would be a bed in a 8-bed dorm. The shared bathroom was very small, on a different floor and it wouldn't lock. I stayed in the attic room which gets pretty hot even though the max temp outside was only 25C (in May). Can't imagine what's it like in July or August. The Wi-fi reception was very weak. No wardrobe in the room, so nowhere to hang the clothes. Just a couple of hooks on the wall and a cabinet with 2 shelves. And it's situated on the 4th floor and climbing the narrow, windy stairs every day...no fun.
- Anonymous (3/5): Not recommend - The location is good. It is very noisy at night, especially during raining. You can hear all noise from outside.
It has a steep stair in order to get into the room.
The toilet is very small.
- Christine (7/5): Great location, not good if you plan to self-cater - Great location and help with tours and trips. Super lovely lady running the place. Not suitable for self-catering. Kitchen is in the hallway and it's very noisy when other people use it or talk in the hallway. Very little privacy (also with the bathroom).
- Hoi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - good sized room
helpful staff
- Jakub (8/5): Very good - Great location in the old town. Affordable option, get ready for stairs. WiFi did not work properly during my stay
- Olivia (10/5): The manager, Iva, is very nice, warm and friendly. She helped me a lot while stayed there. - The location is one of the best! The Old city is full of stairs! up and down all the way! this apartment is just right beside the Main Street. come and stay here. you will find how lucky you are.
- Martha (7/5): Great location and inexpensive - The room was tiny but nice, the beds were pretty comfortable, and the location in Old Town was excellent - as was the price! The bathroom was VERY tiny and shared with the other guests, but it worked fine for us. Honestly, if you want to save money and don't mind less-than-fancy lodgings, this was great for us!
- Gabriela (9/5): Superb -
- Silvestre (8/5): location is good. - the location is in old town.
