Angela (5/5): Convention hotel that cannot handle large parties at all. - Large rooms Mediocre breakfast poorly serviced. No staff. Dirty room. A large wedding party with children that screamed and ran the halls all three nights till one am. This is a convention hotel and it was obvious they cannot accommodate convention type guests. Services were poor.

The fact that we waited for 3 hours to get our room that was supposed to be ready by 3:00 and they didn't have it ready. Then the man Chris at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional. We were told we could have food but it wasn't very good quality. There was no parking because people in the convention center were also parking in the hotel parking accommodations there needs to be something done about that for people that legitimately are supposed to be in those parking spaces. Overall not a very good experience and I will not come to this hotel again for as much as I paid for it.

Sydney (7/5): Would stay again if needed. - It was clean and easy to navigate the hotel and area. There was a convention going on and nothing was done about people using the hotel parking for the convention. Also, we had an issue getting any hot water for the showers both nights

Breakfast was better than I expected, it would have been nice if they had a waffle maker, but we had enough for breakfast. Located convenient to the highway, easy on & off.

There was mold in our bathroom, the service when checking in was not good, the lobby was not clean, they did not refill the water at the breakfast station, the parking lot was taped off, and the bed was uncomfortable

The only thing was the pool was freezing so my kids refused to get in which was one of the main reasons for booking this hotel with 2 kids. Everything else was great.

yilinz2026 (8/5): Pool is cold - The pool was too cold for us to even get in, and pool room was cold when we first walked in. I heard another guest ask the front desk person, and they were told the pool stops heating at round 7pm (pool closes at 10pm) and that's the way it's set up / can't be changed. We would have loved to but were not able to enjoy the pool for the 2 nights we stayed in the hotel.

Alisha (1/5): Damp mildew - Convenience to the convention center was nice as we were there for an event at the convention center. The staff were short and rude to guests. Many of the other guests at the event with us reported the same thing. Breakfast was horrendous. I am easily pleased with nearly any continental breakfast but the food here was abysmal. The eggs were like rubber, basically inedible, and the other options were poor as well. Cold, dry waffles, and the bacon didn’t taste right. How do you mess up bacon? And finally, the hotel has an alarming issue with the ductwork and AC units. We had two separate rooms during this stay, the first room had an AC unit that leaked into the meeting room below and the maintenance staff had to come into our room to fix it. No big deal, they were quick and solved the leak. On our last night, we had a different room on the opposite side of the hotel. This room had damp floors from condensation and a very strong mildewy odor that made my throat hurt. This was reported from several families on that side of the hotel, during our convention event. There is a larger issue happening with leaks and faulty AC. Hyatt Place hotels need to do some serious maintenance on this hotel. I will not be returning here.

Clean and quiet sent to have breakfast @9am on Sunday and there was a sign saying breakfast was closing at 930am even though it was supposed to close at ten. No message prior to that. Looked to see what was still available and staff was cleaning up. Pretty much only thing available was beverages. Cracker Barrel for my money that morning unfortunately😐 I was part of the opening team at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis and worked in various positions throughout my 41+ years. So In understand things happen. All in all stay was nice and I will stay again as I am planning another trip to Cincinnati in October.
Sheri (7/5): We enjoyed our stay. - The bed was great! The pool is too small for the size of the hotel. No hot tub, I was very sad after a long trip. They didn’t prepare our room for use of the fold out bed, then they were out of blankets and pillows. When our room was serviced we didn’t t get coffee. A small thing, but it would have been nice to have first thing. All in all we enjoyed our stay!

bertaron (6/5): It is ok - We have stayed at Hyatt several times but a first for this location. I wasn’t thrilled with the $50 a day surcharge that does get refunded to you at end of visit. Tne location is fine and if you’re attending a convention a no brainer. We did have a problem of ants in the tea coffee holder. Hotel addressed it properly. If you have business in Cincinnati downtown you are maybe 15 20 minutes via highway.

LoriS259 (6/5): Not the best Hyatt - I wanted to love this hotel. If you have an event at the convention center, this is the perfect location. But the rooms are loud. I heard cars and emergency vehicles on the road next to the hotel all night. The breakfast wasn’t great….the eggs were cold, the French toast burnt and everything needed refilled. The guy who checked us in the day before clearly hates his job and his life. He was complaining that the earlier shift didn’t separate our reservation and was rolling his eyes and huffing. When I got to my room, I found a prescription pill on the floor and a dirty sink. I am grateful I didn’t have children with me because they easily could have picked it up and ate it. I just wasn’t impressed.

A manager finally got us in a room and said for the inconvenience we could eat at the retaurant free but when we ordered they were out of most things. The pool was super cold . Definitely not worth the money.

Erica (4/5): Never again - It was connected to the convention center. I didn't care for the fact that I was charged by Booking.com and by Hyatt Place. I asked the lady at the front desk about the charges. Of course, they knew nothing and I was given the General Manager's email. So, still trying to get the double charges reversed and will be contacting the attorney general's office. No one else should have to deal with this. It feels like a scam. A few hours after asking about the charges I went to checkout and another lady I hadn't had any dealings with was also up at the front desk. She snatched my key cards out of my hand and said I would be getting an email from booking.com. I did not. Obviously the two women spoke to each other. The one person was polite the other wasn't. Neither did anything with the charges.
