Un po’ troppo lontana dal centro, seppur al contrario può essere considerata una nota positiva laddove si preferisca stare lontani dal caos. Sarebbe stato apprezzato un servizio di noleggio scooter convenzionato, proprio in ragione della lontananza dal centro.

- Joni (5/5): Calm and serene place, price/quality out of balance - The view was beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. But there were a lot of boats daily with music/parties in front of the bay. The beach is private and tiny, the kayaks are a great add on but with lots of boat traffic it doesn’t feel real safe. The accommodation doesn’t really feel like an hotel but understanding that the location is mainly used for yoga retreats made sense. Our room was a family 6-persons room which was a bit crowded, although it had two bathrooms which was nice. The room itself surprised us at first as a different room has view access to ours from their window, that didn’t feel private. Especially with us having kids around. The staff said there was nothing else they could do (which for the price we paid didn’t seem reasonable).

It would have been even better if there was dinner available. But we found some other great spots nearby.
- Chrissy (10/5): This place is beautiful and worth a stay. - The property is in quiet location of the island and we loved that. The entrance and grounds are beautiful. The pool was amazing and the private beach area was just perfect. The rooms were cute and even though no fridge in the room there was one available for us, as well as a microwave if needed. The breakfast was great and had just enough options, even for picky eaters like us. The staff was amazing. Also, the room fan was so good that we even shut the air conditioning off and didn’t need it, the fan cooled the room enough on its own. There was nothing we didn’t like, the only thing was I thought there was a hammock on the porch of the room I rented, at least it seemed that way from the photos, and there was not but not a big deal at all. The lunch menu was a little too fancy for us and the two kids but the staff was very accommodating. If anything maybe just a couple simple options to add to the lunch snacks but once again not a big deal. We loved it here, very beautiful and special place.

- Bobby (10/5): - The property is absolute beautiful and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful, but you do need to ask for service or they will leave you alone to enjoy the serenity. The breakfasts are included as part of the stay and it was absolutely delicious - juice, fresh fruit, parfait and omelettes cooked to perfection one day and Mexican Casserole to die for! The property includes a private beach, an amazing pool, cabanas, dining areas and self serve coffee station in the morning. Also included are kayaks and paddle boards and we did an early morning kayak outing that was a great workout and lots of fun. I highly recommend this place for an anniversary or quiet getaway to reconnect with a lover one!

- Paolo (10/5): Wonderful and calming - The property is beautiful! Staff were super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and a culinary highlight of the island. The amenities were great, compared to other hotels we stayed in during our Yucatán road trip. We loved our stay and would recommend this to anyone who is looking to enjoy the island in a relaxing environment. The hotel is not a walking distance to downtown, and a taxi is very affordable. We rented a moped during our stay which was very convenient and gave the best of both worlds. The shower in the room has a nice window and view of the lagoon. Unfortunately, there is no door or curtain for the shower which means the sunlight comes in, which will brighten up the room preventing a pitch black room for those who cannot sleep with light. We also heard a lot of noise from what sounded like a generator to large AC machine during the night and early morning. We had a Garden view room, so would discourage booking this room if you’re a sensitive sleeper.

- Thomas (9/5): Idyllic rest spot in Isla Mujeres - Casa Coco is an idyllic hotel situated midway in Isla Mujeres. It has a great beach area for swimming and kayaking. It’s far from the party central and close to some good eateries, I’d recommend a golf cart and travel all across the island is easy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, if you’re looking to enjoy this island in peace, I recommend this hotel. A great breakfast was also included. More food options for lunch in the hotel would be good given the hotel is quite isolated but it is okay with planning.
- Jonathan (10/5): Incredible experience and facility with great views and friendly staff! - Property was gorgeous from the moment you walked in. Views on the water were spectacular. Staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond. The breakfasts were amazing and different every single day. Best ceviche I had on the island. All the food was super fresh, made to order. The drinks were perfect. The room was spotless. Big comfortable bed. Kayaking and swimming were very accessible and right off the dock/beach. Nice rooftop to do yoga. Honestly 10/10 would recommend. I guess it was on the high end of my budget but in life sometimes you gotta pay extra for luxury. I splurged for the ocean view and it was totally worth it. Also, as a solo traveler, it's not really central enough to meet people, you would have to take a taxi downtown or stay in a more hostel vibe like mad monkey or something. But if you want quiet or relaxing or romantic, this place is for you.
- Leslie (10/5): Maybe my favorite hotel - This is the type of place that I am reluctant to share because I want it all to myself! Which is mostly what we had this week. Low season meant it was not crowded and there are so many little spaces to hang out that it felt private. The design is gorgeous while feeling relaxed. Art, found objects, and hammocks line the walls, tons of candles illuminate the space in the evening, absolutely lovely. Breakfast was delicious and beautiful! Fresh juice, homemade granola, yogurt and a fruit plate to start. Followed by a shared breakfast sweet, your choice of pancakes, waffles or French toast, all uniquely flavored. Main course is an omelette or the chef’s daily special. We got the special every day, delicious! The entire staff is the BEST. Highly attentive, kind and friendly. They all deserve more than five stars! I will def be back!

- Pui-yi (10/5): Amazing sea view with a lot of privacy. - The room was very big with sea view and had a private balcony and the bed is comfortable. The staff is very nice, all are part of a concierge team and they help you with arranging everything you need. This was super convenient. The breakfasts and snacks were all very delicious. The garden has plenty of space for every guests without disturbing each other. There are two ways for going into the sea: a private stairway with direct access to the sea and a semi-private beach where they will provide umbrellas when needed. Maybe a long mirror in the room would be convenient.

- Kresge (9/5): Gorgeous b&b- amazing staff, location and atmosphere - Quiet, beautiful, very clean. The pools d outdoor set up is great for relaxing. The finishes are gorgeous. We felt super safe. It’s not the property per se, it’s that in general there isn’t a beach on that part of the island in the terms one might expect. You have to be at the northern part for that. However, that’s also a loud, crowded place. So for us, we had no issue taking the 15 minute golf cart ride to get to the beach and then settling back into our quaint and beautiful casa.

Paddleboarding along shores edge. watched all the snorkel party boats go by while we chilled on the deck and multiple lounge options. Had a massage on the top deck, yoga/exercise supplies are available. The restaurant nearby for dinner was fabulous. I hope to return.

- Florian (9/5): 4 day get away on the island - Great location with semi private beach that you can use youself most of the time. Staff is great and very supportive. Breakfast is excellent. Highly recommend this place when available. Usually it is only rented out for groups or events and separate rooms are only available in low season. If you are lucky enough to see it being available I highly recommend it! Location is a bit secluded and you need a taxi etc to get around. Bikes are available for free but are in bad condition which is my only complaint. Maybe this can be fixed...

- David (10/5): Great getaway - We really enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room had an amazing view. Cleaned every day and super comfortable bed. The property is quaint and private. And a small private beach where you can wade waist deep along the coast.
- Chiaki (10/5): - Casa Coco gave us a quiet refuge right by the ocean. The hotel is beautifully kept with comfortable furniture and the staff was very friendly and helpful! They were able to address all the questions we had while we were there. We particularly loved the outdoor space and they had seats in many different places in their garden to choose from. We were also lucky to have arrived when there were not too many other guests, so we were able to enjoy the seaside lounging area and the pool all by ourselves. The room was clean and well decorated too. Casa Coco's breakfast was also amazing. They had fresh fruit and juice everyday, which we looked forward to. The location had its pros and cons - since it's quite far from town, it was very quiet and safe, but at the same time, we needed to rent a golf cart to get anywhere (including the nearest supermarket, which is needed if you want snacks or drinks since there are very few restaurants around). If you are considering having a relaxing vacation, we definitely recommend staying here!

- Marcela (6/5): - La casa y las habitaciones son muy lindas, pero el mantenimiento de las areas exteriores incluida la terraza del ultimo piso muy malo. las salas exteriores y palapa estaban muy sucias, además que las escaleras que dan al mar tienen pésimo mantenimiento y no tienen letreros de precaución, me caí por que el último escalón tenía lama y me lesione bastante fuerte, otra huésped se cortó también se cayó y fue quien nos informó del estado. El personal del hotel ni preocupado por esto.

Everything was beyond our expectations - we even got upgraded as we were celebrating our honeymoon :) The staff were amazing (thanks Kevin, Alex, Mariana and all!), beautiful and clean rooms, pool area is great, private small beach, excellent breakfast (different every day). Take into account the place is a taxi drive (120-150 peso) from the center, otherwise only 1-2 restaurants nearby (that are so-so). It is possible to get food delivery though.. But other than that no reason to leave the hotel :)

- Robin (10/5): Loved everything about it! - We were blown away by our stay at Casa Coco, and will definitely come back someday! Beyond accommodating in service and amenities. Every view is gorgeous, the breakfast is amazing, and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. We loved the intimate feel of only 10 rooms and hope it stays this way. We would also recommend getting a golf cart from downtown, unless you plan to stay at the hotel for most of your stay, then a taxi is fine.
