- Verified traveler (8/5): Private minimalist cottage in downtown Healdsburg - Small boutique hotel close to square with lots of privacy. Rooms felt unfinished - no art or any kind of color in the space. Almost too minimalist. For the price, it felt a bit lacking.

Called to have coffee replenished, trash emptied and room tidied on 2nd day and got "not sure if they can empty trash or tidy up as cleaners need to be "scheduled" and not sure they were "available". Ended up getting coffee replenished, only 1 trash can emptied and absolutely nothing else. Shower floor is black tile but could still see black mildew on tile, caulking and going ups the walls. Gross. Room size is good size but decor is minimal and felt industrial. Scraped my leg on the concrete coffee table. Make sure you're decent if your lounging in your room as people walk right by the glass door. There are no sheer curtains for privacy, only blackout ones. Pool area was very nice and private. Great location.

- Bruce (10/5): Perfect “couples” hideaway - Wonderful location, very private, very well maintained, the perfect couples destination. What we really loved about this place was it’s simplicity. True, it doesn’t come with the pointless frills of a traditional resort. But then I don’t care about the guy who carries your luggage or the overpriced pool bar drinks, and I don’t want to pay the ridiculous “resort” fees most charge. Here, you get a large, modern, well appointed suite with everything you need, at the published price. Just perfect.

- MichelleK (10/5): - This is one of our favorite spots in Healdsburg...just off the beaten path, but walk to everything. Only 6 suites share a lovely garden, very swimmable pool and spa. Each cottage has high ceilings, great quiet air conditioning and fabulous bath with huge shower and sink area. These rooms are pricey, but offer alot for a getaway...perfect separation during Covid and to be savored under the best of circumstances too.

Wine is available in the room for purchase, and a fair price! Quiet place, but just around the block from shops and restaurants! The linens were wonderful! The only issue I had was there was not a clock radio, nor a Bluetooth speaker (usually, I bring one ... got missed this trip). These are really minor issues. We’ll be back!

The pool and quiet patio/lawn area are a bonus. Location can't be beat. Breakfast just behind the hotel at Costeaux is a great feature. We just love this place!
- RebeccaS (10/5): - Duchamp was a private, quiet setting in the midst of a busy holiday weekend. The room was spacious, modern and with abundant natural light. We had always stayed at Hotel Healdsburg (nearly 20 years), and when after all these years they would not allow us an exception of just a one night reservation on our anniversary we branched out and tried Duchamp. We were very pleasantly surprised. I still prefer the pool area at Hotel Healdsburg for its visual appeal. That said, we are highly likely to return to the Duchamp cottages.

- marilyn (10/5): A welcome find in Healdsburg - We spent several days in Healdsburg at the Duchamp suites to celebrate our anniversary. We often go to Healdsburg and love the town and the area but I hadn't heard of the Duchamp suites until hotels.com advertised a special rate. The location is ideal -- behind the Shed and within an easy walk of all the best restaurants and shopping in town. We didn't use our car except to make trips to wineries and other attractions out of town. The units are all freestanding, built with comfortable contemporary design. The bathroom was very spacious and the bed/sitting room was comfortable with AC for hot weather and a gas burning wood-type stove for warmth. There is a pool and a hot tub available to all guests. The suites are located very near the walking trail. The suites offer a $20.00/day certificate for breakfast, lunch or a picnic lunch at the neighboring French bakery, Costeaux, which was very generous. The one hitch was that the room safe didn't work and they didn't manage to fix it in the four days we were there.

Grounds are beautifully manicured and the pool area fantastic! Our first day was heavenly - the lady at desk was gracious - on check out day ( Labor day)we checked out of our room - we put our luggage in our car and went to the pool to relax - we were asked to leave at 3pm - although there wasnt a single guest at the pool or checked in at 3pm and we were just reading and swimming - having a lovley time- the woman on staff that day persisted that is was their rule to ask guest to leave at 3pm. I understand if its busy and you are taking up area at the pool for newly checked in guests but there wasnt a soul checked in the hotel at the time or any once else at the pool ...we were the only guests present. She allowed us to stay till 4pm and insisted we leave at that time - which we respected and made certain we left at 3:58 so that we didnt have to deal with her unpleasantness - it was so unnessassary to chase us out. The cleaning staff was wonderful - and when the unpleasant woman went to lunch 12-1 they came by unsolicited and told us they left a back door to lobby open for us in case we needed to use the restroom. Its too bad that one very unpleasant woman tainted what would have been a 5 star experience!

It is a close walk to everything you need in downtown Healdsburg and the staff are welcoming and very helpful. We loved the pool and hot tub, the room was spacious and modern and we were given vouchers to a wonder breakfast place literally at the end of the hotels driveway that is known for its pastries and fresh bread. You can use the vouchers for breakfast, lunch or takeaway items if you want to picnic while exploring the wineries in the area. We will most definitely go back and highly recommend.

- Judith (10/5): Very comfortable place a block from town center - The rooms are spacious and chic - industrial vibe. The bathroom is very large and amenities are nice. Gas fireplace for heat. Wall unit for AC. Both efficient. Each room is a separate building so no noise through walls. There are only 6 room/cabins, all around a pool. Grounds are well maintained and lovely. There is no staff around other than at breakfast/check-out and check-in times, but they are on call if needed. We didn't need to call so can't opine re response time etc. Breakfast was nice, fruit, pastry, juice, good coffee. This place would be amazing for a wedding party where family rented all six rooms and had the place to themselves. There is a beautiful outdoor space for a ceremony. There is virtually no common indoor space.
- mark (10/5): Duchamp is an oasis of calm - what an amazing oasis in the center of town! loved our stay. Marie was wonderful, the pool and hot tub were refreshing and the grounds very pleasing. Can't say enough about how nice the Duchamp is for an enjoyable stay in Healdsburg. No question we will be back!
