- Simon (7/5): Short stay Taipei - Budget hotel ideal for exploring Taipei, close to restaurants, cafe and shops not far also to the Mrt (tube) which is cheap and convenient way to travel tourist attractions. Get an easy card which covers metro , bus train and bike. The hotel itself is a Budget friendly hotel so don't expect 5☆ . The rooms are spacious and are a bit outdated but adequate. Breakfast was enough and dairy choice mainly Asian food . Staff were friendly and helpful when needed and most can talk basic English without translation. Overall the hotel is in a good area to use for exploring and price is good . Overall would stay again knowing what I know now 3_4 days enough before moving on Smokey room

- Ying-kit (10/5): A vintage hotel in Banqiao - The room is clean ane spotless. The cleanest hotel I have ever stayed. The staff are polite and professional. The building looks vintage, but it acquires a unique feel that brings comfort and familiarity. I will be back again. The breakfast can be improved.

No arreglan la habitación sino lo solicitas en recepción, pero al hacer el checkin no te informan de ello. El desayuno es 100% local; no está orientado al huésped occidental. Si no quieres desayunar pollo, arroz, verduras al vapor o noodles, debes de conformarte con una tostada con nutella o mermelada. Nada más.

The walls and ceilings had cracks on it. We paid quite a bit for the room (UK prices) but it wasnt worth that much. Probably half that amount.
