• Ilan (4/5): Beau mais pas exceptionnel - La vue est magnifique et le restaurant de l’hôtel est vraiment bon, ce qui sauve en partie l’expérience. En revanche, plusieurs points sont très décevants pour un établissement de ce standing : les serviettes sentent mauvais, les serviettes de plage sont complètement délavées et devraient être remplacées depuis longtemps. Certaines installations semblent laissées à l’abandon, comme la baignoire extérieure inutilisable. Nous avons également eu la mauvaise surprise de trouver plusieurs cafards dans le logement, et il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude durant le séjour. Le plus incompréhensible reste le prix demandé au vu de l’état général, surtout en basse saison. Le rapport qualité/prix n’est clairement pas à la hauteur. Dommage, car le potentiel de l’endroit est réel avec une si belle vue.

• Katharina (8/5): Wirklich schöne Unterkunft, ruhig gelegen, aber ein paar Haken wären echt nicht schlecht - Die Unterkunft liegt an einem der schönsten Strandabschnitte auf der Insel. Es sind keinerlei Haken im Badezimmer sowie im Schlafbereich. Außerdem gibt es keine Nachttische und das Licht ist auch nicht sehr gemütlich.

• Rebecca (8/5): - This hotel was great. The restaurant served some of the best food we had eaten whilst in Thailand and great value. The staff were all very friendly and the views and sunsets were amazing. The hotel is located at the bottom of a very steep hill. Our room was a large family room with a very big bathroom. We had a big balcony with a hammock and an outside bath. The hotel is set in lots of beautiful trees and grounds and feels like you're in the jungle. There was lots of wildlife including lizards but unfortunately this also meant lots of mosquitos. The bar had a nice vibe to it in the evenings and you can book the big round table that over looks the beach for food/drinks and to watch the sunset. There were around 12-15 steep steps down to the beach with lots of bars and restaurants along the beach to visit. The hotel has a lovely pool with sunbeds and larger square seated areas. The larger family rooms are very far from the reception, restaurant and pool. There are many steps to these rooms that can be extremely deep and therefore these rooms are not suitable for anyone with mobility issue. The roofs of the accommodation are corrugated metal and as you are in a jungle, lizards frequently run across them which makes it very difficult to sleep. There are mango trees and when the mangos drop on the roof its very loid and scary until you know what it was. The outside bath whilst seemed like a nice idea, was covered with ants so couldn't be used for anything other than rinsing shoes.
• Silja (9/5): A very nice affordable resort right next to a perfect sunset beach - Location is perfect, right on the beach but still ”secluded” enough. Nature, great clean pool and room for relaxing. Staff was very welcoming, polite and helped. Liked it so much I extended my stay 2 times I was happy with my stay, but small things could be made to improve the bungalows even further. Reading lights by the bed would be nice, and some hooks for towels. There were hangars and a towel rack, but since there’s a pool and the sea, there will be a lot of wet things at the same time so more room for drying those would be nice :) i got to experience 3 different bungalows during my stay, older and newer, and the older wooden ones had a smell of maybe some kind of chemical for bugs (?). I got used to it, but at first it bothered a bit. But I understand also, that since it’s a bungalow, things need to be done to keep the bugs out, so better this way than with a lot of bugs. That said, there still were some small ants in my room, but as said, there’s nature around so pretty impossible to keep out. Really enjoyed my stay.
• Nicole (5/5): Ok aber es gibt schönere Unterkünfte auf Koh Phangan - Die Aussicht Die Lage unseres Apartments (siehe Foto). Wir sind nochmal umgezogen, mussten dann aber viele Treppen laufen und waren direkt an der Straße. Wahrscheinlich lag es daran, dass wir zu dritt waren und die schöneren Zimmer nicht für 3 Personen geeignet waren. Das war sehr enttäuschend für uns.

• CAROLINE (9/5): Une tres belle adresse sur Kho Phangan - Les espaces communs de l'hôtel sont sublimes, notamment la piscine, et la vue sur la baie est magnifique. Les bungalows sont très propres, fonctionnels, et la décoration épurée. Le personnel est aux petits soins. Les espaces verts qui gagneraient à être davantage entretenus ainsi que quelques finitions/rafraîchissements qui pourraient être faits dans les bungalows, notamment au niveau de ma sdb et des rambardes d'escalier à la peinture un peu écaillée. Mais cela n'empêche pas le confort et le caractère agréable du lieu.

• Fafa (7/5): - The hotel itself was nice, and the food was good, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, the behavior of some of the staff made our last days uncomfortable. The boys working in the kitchen during the morning shift had a very strange attitude toward us—they were unpleasant, laughing in our faces, and acting disrespectfully. The girl at the reception was also unfriendly and unprofessional. We were two girls, and honestly, we didn’t care much because we don’t let that kind of behavior affect us. But for someone else, it could easily feel like harassment and make them very uncomfortable. A hotel should be a place where guests feel welcomed and respected, and unfortunately, that was not the case with some of the staff.

Wenn man duscht, ist das ganze Badezimmer nass. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen/renovierungsbedürftig. Gäste von außen dürfen auch den Pool benutzen.
• Petra (8/5): - Wir hatten einen Seaview Bungalow mit Whirpool (nicht genutzt, sah nicht so einladend aus) Zustellbett gebucht, also können auch 3 Personen dort schlafen. Blick einmalig!! Toller Pool, nette Bar/Restaurant. Runter zum wunderschönen Strand kann man leicht über Treppen. Hier gibt es nette Lokale. Es war sehr wenig los bei uns(April) Direkt am Hotel gibt es einen sehr netten Scooter Verleih! In kleiner Entfernung das tolle Wave und Raham Restarant. Noch ein Tip :9 Million view( seeeehr einheimisch...hier kocht die Frau wirklich sehr gut!) Insgesamt ein wirklich toller Aufenthalt mit geliehenem Scooter, der aufgrund der steilen Berge echt nötig ist. Die Poolbungalows sind nah am Becken! (Vorhänge einfach zuziehen.) Wir fanden alles sehr gemütlich und mit viel Atmosphäre. Sehr nette Rezeption ( günstige Ausflüge, Taxi etc.) Vielleicht ein paar Stuhlpolster, die müssten erneuert werden.

• Max (8/5): - Pool mit schöner Aussicht. Personal war sehr nett. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Die Bungalows sind schon bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Leider hatten wir auch kleine Probleme mit Insekten.
• Claudio (8/5): Wunderbare Zeit in Haad Yao - Die Lage in Haad Yao, auf den Felsen mit Sicht über die Bucht. Rollervermietung vor dem Hotel. Die Dusche, das Wasser lief nicht in Richtung Abfluss und so mussten wir jeweils mit einem Wischer laufend das Wasser in Richtung Abfluss wischen.

• Roland (9/5): Großartige Anlage am Hang gelegen, direkt am perfekten Strand! - Die Unterkunft war großartig und erfüllte alle unsere Vorstellungen. Die Lage ist atemberaubend, direkt am äußeren Ende des Haad Yao Strands am Hang gelegen. Egal ob vom Infinity Pool oder vom Restaurant und den darunterliegenden Terrassen, die Aussicht ist der Wahnsinn! Einen extra Daumen hoch für das sehr zuvorkommende Personal, welche stets freundlich und hilfsbereit alle Wünsche erfüllen! Die Thai-Speisen im Restaurant sind alle sehr lecker und gehören zu den Besten welche wir während unseres Urlaubs finden konnten! Die Stufen zum Strand sind wohl nicht jedermanns Sache, aber das gehört zur Hanglage und hat uns nicht gestört. Die eine oder andere Reparatur wäre fällig, wobei uns auch da nichts wirklich groß gestört hat. Allerdings sollte etwas im Bezug auf die Sicherheit für Kinder nachgebessert werden, denn es gibt schon einige Stellen wo man seine Kinder gut im Blick haben muss! Beim Infinitypool geht es steil runter (der Hanglage geschuldet, aber halt auch nicht gut abgesichert) und die Treppe im Bungalow ist für kleine Kinder problematisch. Alles in Allem ist die Anlage aber schon gut für Urlaub mit Kindern geeignet!

• Rainer (7/5): Na ja geht so - Die Lage der Unterkunft ist gut. Der Weg zum Strand ist halb so wild. Wir hatten den Bungalow A27 mit einer tollen Aussicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Restaurant ist gut besser ist es 10 Minuten weiter zu Fuß in der Raham Bar Zimmer: Hängematte total verdreckt sollt mal gereinigt werden Kühlschrank extrem laut, Klimaanlage Steuerung defekt Bad und Einrichtung total veraltet Service: Nur bis 18 Uhr besetzt gleiches gilt für den Rollerverleih Transfer von uns zum Pier wird extra berechnet und ist für Thai Verhältnisse teuer Kein Wäscheservice Kein Masken und Schnorchelverleih Die Auflagen für die Stühle in der Bar sind zerrissen und verdreckt Man könnte mit wenig Aufwand mehr aus dieser Anlage machen

• Jodders (8/5): Four days of chilled paradise - Loved this place. We were in A1 bungalow with amazing views. Room was great. Bathroom is a little tired and there is no window. The food and service here is excellent! Could not fault this at all. Pool area is beautiful with plenty of sunbeds. Its no good for people with mobility issues as there are alot of steps to the rooms and beach. Would reccomend this place and would 100% stay again. Thanks High Life for an excellent chilled four days. The bathroom. Looking a little tired, but was clean.

Most of the staff were lovely, very friendly and worked hard. The steps..everywhere..unless you get a room on the reception level then steps are unavoidable, they are also uneven and poorly lit at night…certainly not for elderly or less mobile people. Our room was not refurbished so was really dated and shabby. Poor bathroom .. actually a wet room..with an inadequate shower. Take flip flops to wear in bathroom..floors are grubby. Towels provided had certainly seen better days! TV in the room was laughably ancient and didn’t work.l

• FYT (10/5): Just WOW ! Don’t miss it ! - High Life bungalow est juste WOW avec une vue incroyable sur haad yao qui est selon nous la plus belle plage de l’île. Le restau est définitivement un des meilleurs que nous avons testé sur l’île avec des petits déjeuner et plats incroyables. La piscine surplombe le lagon. C’est possible de se faire masser sur la plage en bas. Ils sont très facilitant pour les taxi et nous pouvons louer un scooter quasi sur place. Merci à toute l’équipe. Les oreillers un peu durs mais ce n’est rien de grave juste un plus.

• jouana (8/5): Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, wir würden wieder kommen - Die Lage ist Top! Viele tolle Restaurants & schöne Strände in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Pool und die Aussicht sind ein Traum. Die Gerichte werden super schön zubereitet und alles war lecker. Die Bungalows mit Gartenblick sind schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

• Daniela (9/5): - Die Lage ist Top. Man hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf den Strand, welcher ebenso wunderschön ist. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Restaurant serviert alles was man sich wünscht und es ist wirklich sehr gut. Das Hotel als auch die Bungalows sind über Treppen zu erreichen, man sollte daher unbedingt gut zu Fuß sein. Die Sauberkeit in den Bungalows könnte etwas verbessert werden, aber es ist im großen und ganzen alles ok. Der kleine Ort und viele Restaurants sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Pool ist wunderschön und gut geeignet nach einem Strandtag. Alles sehr empfehlenswert.

• Jana (9/5): Empfehlenswert und seeeehr schöner Strand - Die Lage ist perfekt. Zum 7/11 und zu Restaurants ist man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten da und mit dem Roller erreicht man alles gut. Den Strand direkt am Hotel finde ich persönlich mit einen der schönsten Strände auf der Insel. Der Zugang zum Strand ist ebenfalls problemlos durch die Treppe. Schnorchel einpacken lohnt sich auch. Übrigens ist es am Strand sehr ruhig und wenig los. Alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und der Transfer vom und zum Pier hat auch alles geklappt. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Gartenblick A24 und waren zufrieden, vor allem für den Preis. Die Anlage allgemein ist sehr sauber gehalten, gegenteilige Bewertungen kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Ich hab mich auf Empfehlung meiner Schwester für das Resort entschieden und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Etwas mehr Ablagefläche im Zimmer wäre gut gewesen, aber auch nicht weiter schlimm

• Alyona (10/5): Overall fantastic stay at High life bungalows in Koh Phangan. Perfect for an active vacation, as the hotel is not too bi - Stunning views, a very nice beach with clear water and white sand. Beautiful pool & restaurant with great food and drinks at good prices. Walkable to many nice restaurants, stores, massages, yoga classes on the beach and on the street. The room is cozy and quite nice but could have upgrades to the plumbing fixtures to make it perfect!

The restaurant was excellent and good value for money. There was nothing about the property we disliked. However, we were very upset when one of their drivers hit a dog, which was easily avoidable, and he didn’t stop.

• Miriam (9/5): Super schöner, entspannter Aufenthalt - Super tolle Lage an den Klippen mit Blick aufs Meer und den tollen Strand. Sehr nettes Personal. Super leckeres Essen. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier. Poolwasser sehr gechlort, was bei meinem Sohn zu Hautreizungen geführt hat. Ansonsten haben wir nichts zu beanstanden.
• Eléonore (10/5): Un hôtel très sympa avec une vue spectaculaire ! - Très sympa ! L’arrivée est spectaculaire car l’hôtel est en hauteur et la piscine se confond presque avec la mer ! Il y a aussi un restaurant qui donne sur la mer. C’est magnifique. Le personnel est adorable. Les bungalows sont perchés dans la jungle, plutôt grands et fonctionnels. Le tout est confortable et propre. Il y a aussi depuis l’hôtel un accès direct à la plage c’est super. Il est bien situé car toute cette côte est très belle et animée. Je recommande d’avoir un scooter tout de même. Ma chambre était proche de la route et donc forcément c’est très bruyant. Privilégiez un bungalow vue mer.
• Porbaha (6/5): I will not comeback there. - The best thing in High Life is their restaurent. THe food there is best you can find in the Island. But you can eat there without being a resort custumer. Staff were nice and helpfull. Our room, sea view with the bath tub on balcony A32. It was so bad. Water was pooling on the bathroom floor which was gross and the room was not cozy at all, ugly white lights and ugly curtains.

• Gerard (7/5): Séjour vraiment super - Le superbe emplacement et les différents niveaux de l'établissement qui donnent beaucoup de charme et qui sont très accessibles même à une personne de 73 ans. Par ailleurs l'accueil à la réception et au restaurant est excellent. La piscine est magnifique et la plage est juste en dessous avec un accès facile. Très bonne qualité de la restauration. La qualité du bungalow à revoir compte tenu du tarif. De plus le prix du taxi est vraiment excessif (300baths) par personne

• Tess (7/5): Bel hotel... si vous êtes un fumeur. - Magnifique vue mer. Chambre spacieuse. Terrasse agréable. Plage directement accessible. Odeur de cannabis du matin au soir partout. Au restaurant, sur notre tarrasse privée,.... Prendre son petit dejeuner sous les fumées des joints, on s'en passerait.
• Leonie (9/5): Super tolle Hotelanlage, sehr freundliches Personal und insgesamt einfach ein super angenehmer Aufenthalt - Der Infinity-Pool, die Hotelanlage im generellen mit den vielen tollen Pflanzen, die Nähe zum Strand, das Hotelrestaurant und das Personal Die Zimmer hätten etwas besser ausgestattet sein können, uns haben Nachttische inkl. einer kleinen Lampe gefehlt, mussten ständig die große Deckenbeleuchtung anhaben. Zudem haben uns Steckdosen in Bettnähe gefehlt, es gab nur eine einzige.
