• Michael (10/5): A good hotel, with helpful staff, great value for money. - Large, clean room with wide windows, comfortable bed, and the best scented shower gel all over China! Very friendly staff, and all in a location close to the Olympic sailing marina and that luxurious Hisense shopping centre, where one can have one of best views over that beautifully illuminated Qingdao skyline in the evening. We were staying for the 2nd time and will surely come back.

• Mini B Kan (8/5): Sleepless nights at Atour Qingdao - Excellent location in the center of the city, 15-20 mins commuting time to any attractions. Outstanding service from start to finish! The staff was friendly, polite and genuinely cared about making our visit special. Special thanks to 語芊 for efficiently communicating my comments on the cafe breakfast, 兀文 for trying his best efforts on fixing the room temperature issue and 小楠 for his attentiveness and follow up on the pillow ordering. Front desk response is speedy and they are truly exceptional! Room setting is modern, clean and spacious. The green tea and black provided is hotel-branded the quality of which is excellent quality. I particularly like the earthy color tone in the bathroom. Oh the big round showerhead enhanced the shower quality. Cafe: Breakfast temp is not up to standard. Hot dishes were moderately warm not hot. This could be my personal preference on hot dishes particularly the first meal in the morning.. Room temperature: no control in your room as it is centrally operated. There is no flexibility on temp adjustment. We have 2-3 sleepless nights out of the 5 nights we stayed as the temperature in Qingdao was getting warmer like 20 degrees but the hotel puts on central heating. Can you imagine you are in a room with room temperature was 29 degrees. We kept sweating and couldn't go to sleep. We flagged this issue to the front desk but there was nothing they could do as it is centrally controlled. This negativity offsets the positive feeling about this hotel. Luckily one of the front staff 兀文 offered us a couple of fans but we still couldn't sleep without air-conditioning. It hugely affects our sleep quality. This is one of the important criteria for me to consider when choosing a hotel. Beds: we booked a twin room. The room was spacious which could comfortably accommodate 2 double beds. However the bed provision is in between a single and double bed. The bed was comfortable but a bit too small. The blanket frequently drops out of the bed. Would be nice if the hotel could improve the bed size.

• Seoeui (10/5): - 저렴한데 시설이 신축이고 깔끔합니다. 데스크 직원분 모두 친절하시고, 1층 로비에서 차와 커피 무료로 마실 수 있어서 좋아요. 체크인 체크아웃할 때 물 한 병씩 주고, 냉장고에 기본 제공되는 차와 티비스킷도 맛있습니다. 추워서 추가 이불 요청했더니 키퍼가 방 청소하면서 하나 더 깔아주셔서 감사했습니다. 실내 슬리퍼가 퀄리티가 좋아서 4일 내내 신었는데도 멀쩡했어요 위치가 나쁘진 않은데 역 바로 앞은 아닙니다. 걸어서 10분 내라서 전 괜찮았어요.

• PEK CHIN (10/5): 最佳选择 - The hotel is located in the city center, very close to Qingdao Olympic Sailing centre & Hisense Shopping centre and seafood restaurant. The staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel is clean, tidy, and comfortable. There are many food choices for breakfast in hotel. The best selection. 酒店位于市中心，距离青岛奥帆中心、海信购物中心以及海鲜餐厅都非常近。 工作人员友善，服务周到。酒店环境干净、整洁且舒适。早餐的食物选择非常多。 是非常值得推荐的选择。 Before check-in, I sent messages to ask some questions but received no reply. From August until November, there was no response. 入住前有发信息提问问题但是没有回复由8月到11月都没有回复。 However, the staff provided good service during our stay and even helped us retrieve clothes that were lost in the washing machine. Truly commendable 👍. 但是入住时工作人员服务挺好的，还帮我们找回遗失在洗衣机里的衣服。值得一赞👍
• lucynguyen195 (10/5): Wonderful stay - The location is right at the center of Qingdao. You can find shopping mall, street food in walking distance. The receptionist didnt speak english but they tried really hard to help you with anything you need. Lu Yao - the receptionist was so so nice, she helped me to book a taxi and even help me to pay by her app so we can get cheapest price. Everyone is so friendly too. The room was spacious, buffet breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended. The location just hard to find on google and they have some other Atour hotel too so its a bit confusing at first to find the right one.

Washing basin too swallow, no lotion in the room especially winter time is not appropriate. 200m away from the nearest metro station, is far when walk in cold winter time with extremely strong wind blowing.

Staff are friendly. Good service overall. Good breakfast. Would have rated higher if not for the issue between the hotel system and Booking.com for losing our bookings. The checking in problem.
