Besonders nett: Die Tochter des Hauses Zelal gab für uns ein kleines Extra-Konzert an Violine und Klavier. Man sagte uns, dieses Hotel wäre das beste Haus vor Ort und wir glauben das sofort. Nichts!

The front desk staff seemed stressed and overwhelmed during check-in, which set the tone for the stay. Our room was somewhat clean, but we noticed mold in the bathroom shower and there wasn’t enough toilet paper provided. Breakfast was included, but food was limited — we had to ask for more eggs, and overall the selection felt scarce. That said, the dining area itself was very clean and spacious, which we appreciated. While the hotel has some potential, it may not be the best option for families looking for comfort and consistency.

Everything was just perfect — from the warm welcome at check-in to the friendly, professional staff who made me feel at home every single day. The breakfast was a true highlight: fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every morning felt like a treat! The atmosphere in the dining area was calm and inviting, and the attention to detail was impressive. One of the things I appreciated the most was how the hotel cared for my mother while I wasn’t there. She arrived before me and had to wait alone, but during those days, the reception team — especially Esra and Mr. Hakan— was incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive. Esra was so helpful and genuinely friendly with my mom, which meant the world to me. It gave me peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently warm, helpful, and professional. I left feeling refreshed, inspired, and deeply thankful. This hotel is not just a beautiful place to stay — it’s a place where people truly care. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to everyone!

In a really good location right in the centre of town and close to lots of restaurants. Parking a bit tricky, but okay once you know where it is - down a tunnel opposite the hotel entrance. Simple breakfast on the top floor with partial views of Mt Ararat.

- Eleanor (10/5): - A hidden gem. Lovely, helpful staff, nice room of good size two comfortable lounge chairs and a balcony that is actually useful and of a good size. The breakfast was buffet and good. They also have a library with some English books. I did a book swap. We throughly recommend.

The hotel is just a block from a nice street with lots of restaurants and there is a parking garage across the street. We would stay there again.

I can even see half of the majestic of Mount Ararat from my balcony. The best part of this place is the people. Yunus and Ezra were very nice and friendly. Yunus was soo helpful and gave me a lot of local tips which I found really handy. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place to stay in Doğubeyazıt.

Room quite big, bed comfy and balcony was as cherry on the cake. Very nice bathroom with powerful shower. Breakfast very good. Highly recommended

- Turgut (10/5): Very good and pleasent - Location is okay at the city center. Breakfast was very good with excellent choices. Clean and large breakfast room. Hotel rooms were large and very clean. Front desk staff were very friendly and helful. Only negative for this hotel was the parking problem. They have an underground parking, but it is very dark and accessed by a narrow and one-way passageway. I tried to enter twice but there was a car exiting the parking and had to back into a chaotic street. Then they told me that there was an open parking lot 100 meters away. I wish they told me about it before which would have avoided a lot agony.
- Jalal (10/5): Exceptional - Surprisingly a really good hotel! Everything was excellent. The staff were friendly, the room was very big, clean and modern with air conditioning. It even had a stocked mini-bar (the first one of our whole trip in Turkey)! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and that of a 4 star hotel. Would definitely recommend staying here if you happen to be passing through this town.

- Lorenzo (10/5): High-quality hotel - I had a great experience at Tehran Boutique Hotel! Room was big and very comfortable, with a nice, relaxing balcony. Buffet breakfast was rich and with quality, traditional food, served in an elegant room at the top floor. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. They arranged for me a tour with an excellent guide of all the most important places to visit around Dogubayazit. A great place to stay that I heartily recommend!

- Len (10/5): Highly recommneded place to stay in Doğubayazıt - Very comfortable rooms (luxurious even!), friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Loved the single malt whisky available at the bar. Partial views of Mount Ararat from the breakfast room at the top of the hotel - although you can see the mountain from almost anywhere! Great stopping off point if you're on the way to the Pasha Palace. The hotel has parking in an underground parking lot over the road this is quite tight to get into for big cars, although someone was on hand to help.
- Katie (10/5): Impressive and Comfortable (Exceptional Breakfast and Staff!) - Wow! What an amazing hotel. Nicer than most places I have stayed in any country. The rooms (and bathrooms) are huge, bed super-comfortable, great views of the city/mountains outside at sunrise with a deck. The breakfast was unbelievable; didn't need to eat all day. All the staff were super-nice, too :) And, they helped me book transport to Noah's Ark which was great because no one really spoke English in town and it was a bit of a struggle. Thank you! It's not the cheapest, but you definitely get more than you pay for so it's worth it.

- Shahrokh (10/5): Happy to go back again - Let's begin by telling this place should easily be called a 3 star hotel. Very nice staff from reception to the breakfast ladies. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Fresh and clean shower. Kettle, coffee, and tea bags were available in the room. (Considering what you pay!) It's much more than my expectation in that little city. Well, for the sake of saying something for this box, It could be better to have a smart card rather than a carrying key in the pocket. Old fasion.

- Julie (7/5): Enjoyed our stay but it left us with a bad taste !! - right in the centre of town, so good for getting about. The hotel itself was fine, clean, tidy and good breakfast etc BE AWARE ….we arrived in a hire car and the hotel says it had an agreement offering either underground or above ground parking, bearing in mind the hotel fronts straight onto the road and it’s a busy one. We used the underground parking which turned out to be dark and tight for space A man in the car park kindly offered to park it for us and then brought the keys up to reception later. He was not around the next morning and neither was our spare wheel. we only discovered this when we handed the car in to the rental company 700 miles later !!!! it’s not about the money but the principal, imagine if we had had a puncture !!!! Lesson learned…..Don’t give anyone the hire car keys
- Babar (9/5): A very good hotel with good facilities and a welcoming staff - A revamped hotel (one of the few still remaining after the Iraq-Iran war), the hotel and the staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to look after us. Pity that recent development blocked our view of Mount Ararat! Otherwise, the balcony would have been magical! Breakfast could have been better and the dining-room staff more welcoming, but otherwise all was good.

The bed, which was huge, was too soft for my back
