• SERHAT (8/5): I would prefer to stay there again - Its modern facility with great view of both sea and mountain. Stuff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is way better than many other experience of mine. They offered me free upgrade that I needed to mention. It was a winter visit of Amasra. So I would expect heaters would work all night long. However at night, central system heaters have turned off. Its was pretty cold.

• Abdulrahman (7/5): - The hotel is family-run, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was extremely helpful, personally assisting us in carrying our luggage from the car to our room on the third floor. The breakfast buffet was exceptionally delicious, earning a rating of 9.5 out of 10. The hotel did not have an elevator, and the room was very small, measuring about 4x4 meters. Basic amenities were missing, such as tissues, a waste bin, and soap in the bathroom—only shampoo was provided. During breakfast hours, cooking smells from the kitchen filled the room, and there was no telephone available to contact reception. I also encountered several brown bugs in both the room and bathroom, killing around four over the two-day stay. The noise from neighboring rooms was quite disturbing, to the point that I could hear the snoring from the adjacent room at night. Overall, the booking price felt high given these conditions.

• Melissa (9/5): Clean, comfortable small hotel with caring hosts. - This is a basic, clean and comfortable family run hotel, but it’s the hosts that make it exceptional. Fluent English and eager to share advice to get the most out of our time in Amsara. The breakfast was buffet style, one of the best we had during our 3 weeks in Turkey. Many of the items home grown and home made with obvious pride. WiFi was weak in the evening when multiple guests were online. Worked fine other times of the day. May need to plan accordingly if internet is needed.

Pro: - Service und Personal waren sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. - Das Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und sauber - Frühstück war ausreichend und jeder bekam ohne Aufforderung einen eigenen Menemen Pfanne - sehr familiäre Atmosphäre Contra: - Zimmer sehr hellhörig - keine Schallisolierung, sodass man seinen Nachbar sogar beim schnarchen hört - Badezimmer zwar sauber aber sehr veraltet - Betten sehr hart - keine Aufzüge, was die Übernachtung im 4. Stock mit einem etwas größeren Koffer sehr umständlich macht. Im ganzen und großen war die zweitätige Übernachtung mehr als genug in der Unterkunft, eine weitere Nacht würde die Erholung leider erschweren. Bei einer rundum Erneuerung und Modernisierung hinsichtlich Schallisolierten Zimmern, Türen würde man eine erneute Übernachtung in betracht Ziehen, aber ansonsten leider nie wieder.

• Deborah (10/5): Amazing owner - We really enjoyed our stay here , principally because of the very hardworking and engaging owner. He met us straight out of the car , we were offered tea, and lots of good advice. It is a pleasant 2.5km walk down into town , and a minivan runs every hour back up if you don’t want to walk. The room was comfortable , and had a great view. It was incredibly easy to access by rental car with parking right outside the front door. The breakfast was prepared thoughtfully , and all the breads and pastries were handmade by the owner. Great selection of salad ingredients too. Best of all , was that he so kindly managed to get us a reservation - the best table at the best restaurant in town . So special. We liked the 4th floor and exercise, but there is no elevator , so request a lower floor if you are not able.

• Myrna (10/5): - Where do I begin? When we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed by the owner. He gave us the 411 on the area and recommendations on where to go and eat. He took the time to make a reservation for us at the best restaurant in town. It was ah-mazing! The view is breathtaking. The staff is phenomenal. I cannot forget to mention the breakfast. It was one of the best I've had while visiting different cities in Türkiye. Most of the food is made fresh, and the jams are made from scratch. Also, we drove to Amasra and left the car at the hotel the whole time. They arranged taxi rides for us, and it was great! Overall a great experience. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

Ben alerji hastası biri olarak burayı temizlik anlamında çok övülmesi nedeniyle tutmuştum ama ilgili yerlerdeki tozlar nedeniyle ilaç içmeden yatamadım.

Growing their own fruits and making home made jams that were very delicious and looking after one disable dog it is so valuable. One negativity is that the premises doesn’t have a lift but staff helped to carry luggages. Highly recommended

Odalar butik otele göre oldukça konforlu. Kahvaltı açık büfe ve çok taze yeşillikler var. İşletme sahibi Mehmet beyin kendi elleri ile yaptığı hamur işleri çok lezzetli. Mısır ekmeği ile menemen siz masaya oturunca sıcak olarak servis ediliyor. Otoparkı var. Konum olarak da ulaşım oldukça rahat. Bir butik otele göre çok konforlu ve rahat bir otel. Yine gitmeyi planlayabiliriz☺️

The owners are lovely people.

They were kind enough to let us know there was no lift, so asked if we would prefer a lower floor and helped us with our luggage as well. Breakfast was a generous buffet but also had the ability to ask for a specific request (ie a cheese omelet).

They even helped us planning our vist all the way to Trabzon. Car park is available for free on site which was very convenient. The view from the room is mountains and sea at the same time.

• Kerrie (9/5): Wonderful, warm welcome, extremely clean and amazing breakfast. - This hotel is lovely, but the best parts are definitely the warm welcome by Mehmet and his family and the wonderful breakfast with many choices of fresh, homemade, delicious food. The hotel is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. We had the two bedroom suite on the top floor, with two balconies which had lovely views down to the ocean. The price is on the high side for us, but the room was very nice.

• Yasam81 (10/5): No 1 hotel in Amasra. Do not hesitate, book now! - I would like to say what a magnificent hotel this was. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely hospitable and couldn’t do enough for you. We stayed here as a family in a family. The room we had was spacious, clean and had two balconies with a sea view. They even provided slippers and free toiletries. The breakfast was amazing, the Turkish breakfast was a full spread of fruit, cakes, homemade jams, menemen, homemade bread, green beans, salad, the list is endless. The hotel manager is extremely helpful and speaks perfect English. I would say that if you were thinking of visiting Amasra, do not hesitate booking this hotel. It is the best. Thank you for a pleasant stay. We hope to visit again in the future.

Our room was clean and spacious and had a nice balcony where you can see the water. There is no lift in this hotel so be prepared to walk some stairs. It was not a problem for the staff to carry our bags up to our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from – extra food was also cooked individually. There was a poor dog that barked a lot which was very noisy. A bit of a distance to the town centre – you will need to get a taxi. There are no cafes or restaurants to walk to in the area. We had a car so it was not a problem.

• traveling_mom-Boston (8/5): Clean and fantastic pastries for breakfast - Very clean hotel outside Amasra with sea views. Breakfast was fantastic with the owner making many of the tasty pastries. Parking can be tight and the hotel is on a curve. It’s also a walk up hotel but they will bring your bags up to your room and down for check out.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Oldukça iyi - Görevliler çok ilgili ve yardımseverdi. Manzara hem doğayı, hem de denizi görüyordu. Kahvaltı güzeldi, çeşitli ve lezzetliydi. Akşam çay ikramı vardı. Oda temiz ve tertipliydi. Ancak gece elektrikler gittiği için jeneratör çalıştırıldı ve birkaç saat gürültüden uyuyamadık. Bu detay haricinde çok güzel bir deneyimdi. Tavsiye ederim.
• Paul (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable, we had a balcony with a view of the sea. All staff were exceptionally friendly snd helpful. We enjoyed the best breakfast of our 2 weeks in Turkey. All produce grown by the owners and prepared fresh daily including breads, conserves etc. Huge variety. A little out of town, so a good walk is in order (or short drive if you have wheels) but definitely worth staying here if that doesn’t bother you. Amasra is a beautiful little town and well worth visiting.
• S. Bilge (10/5): Lovely small hotel - Nice hotel. Very friendly family establishment. Clean. We were very happy with all the arrangements. They even switched the rooms for our friend who had difficulty walking. Their breakfast buffet was amazing.
• Wiecher (10/5): I’d recommend - Very nice hotel, just outside Amasra. Quiet and beautiful sea views. Breakfast without a doubt the best we’ve ever had. Everything from the own garden and freshly prepared.

• Judith (8/5): Very good - We stayed 3 nights. English speaking host was kind and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable with a fine view over the Black Sea. Breakfasts were excellent, the best we had in Turkiye. It's a 30-40 minute walk down the hill to restaurants and waterfront. It was not important for us but please note there is no lift.

• Catinghana (10/5): The only place to stay in Amasra! - A home away from home in one of the most beautiful settings, close to unspoilt beaches with wonderful mountain views, this hotel offers delicious, homemade, home-grown fare for breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, a brilliant service team, and a host couple who truly care about their guests. Absolutely highly recommended!
• Joseph (10/5): Wonderful family run hotel - We had a wonderful stay here. The owners and staff are so welcoming and kind, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was immaculate, bed was comfy and the breakfast each morning was amazing - especially the home made jams! Location was great for us, parking on site and just a few minutes drive into town
• Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional - Great place where I got the feeling they would do everything possible to make my stay easy. I had cheaper room at the back, but perfectly happy. Breakfast will keep you going for most of the day. Walk to town/beach about 35 mins on not busy road and downhill most of the way. You can get taxi for around 100try back..
• Berendonk (10/5): A 100% place to stay when visiting Amasra! - Fantastic hotel! Lovely owners couple that really want you to have a good time at their hotel. Verry clean, verry friendly, beautifull view to the old town, excellent home made breakfast with fresh vegetable from their own garden. We were on our round trip along the coastline and could only stay for 1 night but otherwise would have booked an extra night.
• Birgit (10/5): Amazing place!!! - If you need a place in Amasra go there, you will love it. It is situated up on a hill with stunning view on the Black Sea coast about 2.5 km from the city centre. But even if you don't have a car it is easy to reach. You can either take a taxi or one of the hourly Minibusses. As soon as you enter the hotel you will feel at home. Mehmet and his wife Ceyla and their daugthers are amazing kind, warmhearted and hospitable people. No matter if you need help or advice they are there and always up to help and support. What ever time of the day you are coming they will welcome you with a cup of tea. Ceyla is an amazing cook and you will get a taste of it if you have breakfast with different kind of pastries, cake and jam. The variety of the breakfast is great and everything is freshly prepared. During season Mehmet is offering his guests freshly picked figs from the tree close by. Also all the stuff members in the house and kitchen are outstanding friendly and kind. The atmosphere in the whole house is just very friendly and peaceful. The house does have no elevator but they are helping you with carrying bags upstairs. The rooms are great. Like everything in this place the rooms are spotless clean. The beds are comfortable, there is a hair dryer available and on the balcony there are chairs and a table and the possibility to hang some laundry for drying. There was not one thing I missed during my stay. I enjoyed my four days at Ceylin hotel thoroughly and can't wait to return. I came as a guest and when I left it felt like leaving friends. Thank you so much!!! Everything was perfect!
