- Carlin (9/5): Relax and Unwind - We had a comfortable room with all we needed. Great that robes and slippers are provided for the pool and spa. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast choices on the menu as well as on the buffet. This is a good overnight option for people walking the Southwest Coastal path. The coffee machine in the dining room took forever to make a cup of coffee! We would have loved more coffee and tea options in the bedroom too.

- Shereen (9/5): Amazing Hotel with friendly patrons, sizeable rooms. good food and fantastic location - I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary. I took the package with dinner, bed and breakfast. The size of the room and bathroom as spacious and decor was just right. Spa facilities and the size of the grounds were amazing. I loved the breakfast and dinner. After dinner everyone would just relax on the comfy chairs by the bar or in the lounges. Perfect way to relax at the end of a spa day.

The Gardens are amazing and a boat trip from the jetty from the waterfront of the hotel was fantastic and is highly recommended. My only slight criticism is that the buffet/ continental part of the breakfast was a bit basic. The breakfast menu to order was very good.

We were pleased to see that people with dogs were using a separate area of the dining room. The location is fantastic and so peaceful and we will definitely use the hotel for any future trips to the area.

Was a great stay but we were a little unlucky with the food. Perhaps the usual chef was absent. The bathroom heater was on all the time without a way of turning it off. It seemed wasteful to keep the windows open to cool off!

- Dougal (8/5): Gorgeous location and lovely restaurant - We had a wonderful holiday at Budock Vean, which is located in one of the most stunning areas of Cornwall. Our favourite things about Budock Vean - other than its amazing location - are the restaurant, especially dinner, and having an indoor swimming pool with a sauna and Jacuzzi. The Spa treatments are also very nice. I enjoyed a facial this time. We have been here before and it is always incredibly relaxing. The coffee at Breakfast was not particularly good and the coffee machine was very slow leading to queues! It’s imperative to have a really high-quality coffee machine these days. The kitchen seemed understaffed as we often had to wait a long time for our breakfast and evening meals to arrive. However, the food was amazing when it did arrive.

No fridge in room, room WAY too hot severely impacted sleep could not cool room down with windows open.

- Tracy (10/5): Wonderful Spa hotel - Beautiful location, lovely spacious room and bathroom. Excellent facilities, good size pool, tennis courts, and snooker room. A Spa and Golf ⛳️ Hotel. Beautiful gardens and surroundings with a walk down to the Helford passage. We had a delicious dinner in the evening, the food was amazing. We also visited the Ferry boat in, lovely, friendly owner, would definitely recommend a visit but it can get busy so maybe book a table on their website. The Hotel is not too far from Penzance, we visited St Michael's Mount, but sadly it is closed on Saturday's. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

- Rebecca (8/5): Peaceful and lovely with a good sauna. - Lovely location, peaceful and calm. Good facilities and high level of kind and attentive service. Some renovation still needed on outside of pool building and toilet areas inside there and some corridors and floors in main hotel. New wing could be better visually outside if painted. I wonder also how quiet it remains when golf course is being used (was closed) as rooms very close to golf in new wing. A food menu for elsewhere not just restaurant, so more casual and can sit all around bar and terrace would be good and room service menus too.
