- Shane (8/5): - The only reason for four instead of five stars is because the picture of the room we were supposed to have wasn't what we got. It still had three beds and worked fine though. The beds were really firm, great if that works for you. It was a little rough on my back though. These were the only complaints I have and they weren't a real big deal. Everything else was great. I'd definitely stay here again.

- Michael (4/5): Not a good choice if you need communication later - The room itself was fine. Nice location, quiet place. The room was clean. The only issue with the room was that the sink, toilet and bathtub all drained very slow. Not a big deal. My problem is that we were overcharged $27 at check in. When we noticed it a few hours later we attempted to reach the office and nobody was in there. We chatted with Hotels.com and they said they would get in touch with the motel and resolve it. The last day of our stay we got an email stating that Hotels.com was unable to contact the motel at all so we would not be getting a resolution through Hotels.com. We then walked down to the office again and there was no one. SO FRUSTRATING! I know it’s only $27 but the place you’re staying should not be this hard to get into contact with! This is enough to make us hesitant to stay here again.
- Roxanne (10/5): Really nice clean motel. - At this point in our trip, we were just looking for an inexpensive place to sleep for 6-7 hours. This was inexpensive, and it turned out to be a really nice motel. Room was very neat and clean. Bench outside the door to sit and read or rest. Much nicer than we expected. We would definitely stay here again.

- Verified traveler (2/5): Find somewhere else, even for only a one night. - Bathroom sink and tub did not drain. Toilet was very slow at flushing. I told the office and the gal (who was pleasant enough) and she said they have had complaints and they knew there was a plumbing issue. She said that the room next to mine would back up into my sink, but they were gone for the night so I would be OK. There was no light above the desk and the room was dark. The TV had only audio.

We were told we could upgrade to another room that was ready for $25 more. We were not happy but a friend of the woman running the motel came out and asked if things were okay. She helped get us into the other room at no cost.There is nothing fancy about the motel but our room was a good size and suited our purpose.

- Michael (4/5): Rundown and not worth the price - If a hot shower is wanted forget this place. It was one notch above lukewarm. Typical case of trying to save money on overhead. Lady at front desk was friendly but after that a rating higher than a 3 must have been given by family or friends. Could hear traffic all night. Rundown and overpriced. A fair price would be $50 per night.

- Barry (4/5): Will pass on this property next time. - Hair in the tub, dirty towel from previous guest hanging on back of the bathroom door. I thought the floors (laminate I believe, or tile) looked good, then took off my flip flops, floors were gritty. Mini fridge froze all the food we put in there. My expectations were low as we stayed here last year and decided to give them one more try, as they are pet friendly. Bottom line, if you put lipstick on a pig, it is still a pig, Friendly folks, just do not take care of the property.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Expedia survey, Auto Inn The owners were very nice. They were accommodating and allowed us to change our reservation time without any additional fees. This saved us a lot of money and aggravation. The price was reasonable, especially when all the other motels were price-hiking for Sturgis. The bed was comfortable and the set up allowed for a good nights rest. There were a couple of things that could be improved, though. The screen in the bathroom was broken, which allowed flies to come in and a light bulb was burned out. The room looked clean, but there was a strong smell of cleaner that seemed to try to cover up a different odor. These are small issues that can be improved with just a little bit of effort. Thank you for being reasonable and fair in the way you do business and treat customers.
