Excellent petit-déjeuner varié avec des produits de la propriété. Bibliothèque très cosy avec un piano. Coin piscine très agréable. Belvédères d'où on peut admirer la vue. Il pourrait y avoir un peu plus de lumière dans la cuisine de l'appartement que nous avions.

• Gabriela Margrit (10/5): - Aussergewöhnlich schöne Lage mit beeindruckendem subtropischen Garten und freier Sicht auf den Atlantik. Das Gastgeberehepaar ist sehr freundlich, achtsam und aufmerksam. Was für ein netter Empfang bei der Ankunft! Die Schonung der Ressourcen wird mit Überzeugung gelebt. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war intakt und funktionsfähig. Die Küche des Apartments war sehr gut ausgestattet.

• Andrea (10/5): Must stay place in Faial - Everything. Francisco and his wife are amazing. Unfortunately we only had 1 night there. Francisco met us, showed us around and had a very nice conversation with him. The space was super comfortable and one of the best beds ever in an accomodation. We had an early breakfast and found everything ready for us :) That we couldn't havd stayed longer! All was perfect.

• Armin (10/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt an einen besonderen Platz - Wir waren drei Tage im Quinta da Meia Eira und wurden sehr nett von den Inhabern begrüßt. Uns wurde der wunderschöne Garten und das Apartment gezeigt. Im Apartment ist alles vorhanden und auch das Frühstück war für Azorenverhältnisse sehr umfangreich. Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet für die Erkundung der Insel und unweit ist ein kleines Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar. Der in der Nähe liegende Flughafen stört auf Grund des geringen Flugverkehrs überhaupt nicht. Wir wären gerne noch viel länger geblieben. nichts
• Sabrina (10/5): - Excellent petit déjeuner produits locaux dans un cadre magique. Ferme bien entretenu, déco chambre très cosy et propre. Les gérants prennent le temps de bien vous accueillir et son soucieux de vous partager la culture de leur très belle île.
• Silveira (10/5): Uma surpresa agradável escondida. - Adorei a beleza dos espaços verdes e o quanto limpo e apresentável as áreas estavam bem como o quarto. A piscina é ótima e o facto de estar sempre disponível é ideal, a paisagem da mesma é um bónus. O pequeno almoço tinha bom aspecto e apresentava muita variedade de alimentos, o atendimento dos trabalhadores foi bom no pequeno-almoço, fizeram questão de saber se precisavamos de algo e se estava do nosso agrado. O Sr. Francisco e a sua esposa são muito simpáticos e estão de parabéns pela experiência que produzem na Quinta da Eira. Espero um dia voltar. Abraço.

• Tarot (8/5): Zwei wunderschöne Tage mit kleinen Abstrichen - Wir wurden sehr nett begrüßt und gut informiert über alles. In dem kleinen Apartment haben wir alles vorgefunden, was man für ein paar Tage benötigt. Das Bett war sehr bequem und wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. Toll fanden wir einen Behälter für Kompost für die Hühner. Ein traumhaft schönes und sehr gepflegtes Grundstück hat und sehr fasziniert. Zum Frühstück konnte man sich selbst Orangensaft pressen und es gab regionalen Käse von der Insel. Das Brot war lecker. Bei Booking.com war vorher ein ganz anderes Apartment zu sehen, das wir gebucht hatten. Das von uns ausgewählte Apartment war belegt. Das fanden wir nicht in Ordnung und waren darüber enttäuscht. Das Frühstück fanden wir nicht hervorragend, wie bewertet. Keine Brötchen, keine Croissants oder ähnliches. Keine gekochten Eier, nur Rührei. Überhaupt kein Gemüse wie Tomate oder Gurke, nur wenig Obst. Es soll sicherlich alles nachhaltig sein und den Gegebenheiten der Insel angepasst. Das war absolut okay, aber für uns nicht hervorragend

• Angel (10/5): Charme et tranquillité - La quinta est très bien située, proche de l aéroport et de Horta. Le jardin est tres bien aménagé avec des espaces pour profiter de l extérieur. L hébergement a beaucoup de charme et le petit déjeuner composé de produits frais et de qualité.
• Helen (9/5): Lovely individual hotel in idyllic location. - Lovely individual boutique hotel in superb rural location despite being five minutes from Horta's tiny airport. The hotel gardens were superb and there are lovely views across fields of cows and the ocean beyond. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cheeses, meats and eggs. The host Francisco was very friendly and gave us an individual tour on arrival and was always available to help. He very kindly gave us a lift to the airport to collect our rental car. Highly recommended. Not applicable, everything was excellent.
• Sanam (10/5): Little gem in Faial with amazing hosts - Francesco and Susana were amazing hosts and really made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had access to everything. They even called us and came to pick us up at the airport when we were late because we couldn’t find a taxi! The rooms at the quinta are spacious and clean. The breakfast is nice and varied. • Yvonne (10/5): Perfect getaway with beautiful surroundings. - The host is really friendly and he does everything to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The garden and the views from the garden are amazing. Breakfast is suburb, the azores cheese in the morning was incredible tasteful. Some neighbouring dogs were barking in the night. But the host can't control this of course. It didn't bother us too much.

Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden. Very friendly and attentive owner and staff. The owner, Francisco, was very very kind and took us for a tour on his property, taking time to explain all the plants and share stories. Last but not least, the friendly dog accompanied on the beautiful walk that starts from the property and took very good care of us 😊 We were looking forward to the pool but it was unfortunately under repair.

• Nico (10/5): Hervorragend - The entire facility and the room were a dream. It was enchantingly beautiful. Francisco personally greeted us and showed everything, as well as provided tips. He and his staff are incredibly friendly and personable; everything feels very familial. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. The facility is very well maintained. The view of the sea (including from the pool) is breathtaking. The breakfast is very tasty and offers a diverse selection. Some items are homemade, using the delicious fruits from their own garden. For those who get thirsty for wine or beer, or fancy some snacks in the evening, these can be purchased in the breakfast room (self-service, documentation on paper). If the weather isn't good, you can make yourself comfortable in the common room. (including a terrace, books, musical instruments, etc.) Parking is available on the premises. We would have loved to stay longer and can highly recommend this accommodation. If we ever find our way back to the Azores and the island, we will definitely return. Thank you for everything! :-) -

• Hien (10/5): Great location, beautiful garden, lovely pool and very friendly/helpful people. - It was like our home away. It is close to the airpot, about 15’ by uber to the center. Cozy rooms, beautifully maintained garden and we love the pool. There are many corners you can sit down and relax. The breakfast was also good with fresh fruits from its garden. Special thanks to Francisco who was very communicative and immediate came to pick us up at the airport when we sent him the text that we could not find any taxi. We planned to rent a car at the airport but no one available so we asked and Francisco agreed to take us around. The cost was reasonable, the trip was enjoyable and Francisco’s stories were very interesting.

The grounds are extensive and outstandingly landscaped. Francisco, the owner, is justly proud of his creation, and is very hospitable and dedicated to making your stay memorable. • Nicof33 (10/5): Best accommodation we had on the acores! - The area/garden is amazing. There are many indoor and outdoor places to relax. Everything is super tidy and well maintained. The hosts are very friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Size of the pool, nice for a cool down but not for relaxing / hanging out.

• Sandra (10/5): I just loved it - obrigada por tudo! - I had a wonderful stay at Quinta da Meia Eira. Francisco was very welcoming and helped me with all my questions and requests. The place itself is just like a dream: a spacious, calm and comfy room, all clean and with everything you need to feel at home. The breakfast was so delicious, I could have sat there and eaten for hours. But the highlight is definitely the big and beautiful garden. There are various hidden spots where you can sit, lie and relax and just enjoy the nature. I would always go back there! Thank you, Francisco! :) The pillows could be a bit softer for me. ;)

Du jardin luxuriant aux détails, en passant par la gentillesse des hôtes et de leur personnel, l’ameublement des chambres, la qualité extraordinaire du lit, le petit déjeuner sur mesure et le sentiment d’être chez soi le temps du séjour, tout est juste parfait et élégant !!! Un lieu que l’on quitte avec de la saudade en espérant y revenir très vite !

• José António (6/5): Não correspodeu às minhas expectativas - O alojamento não correpondeu a minha expectativa na relação qualidade/preço paguei demasiado para as condições que usufrui. Embora o alojamento fique numa quinta fantástica com uma área envolvente muito bonita. O preço que paguei é superior a alguns hotéis de 4 ou 5 estrelas que já utilizei!
