• Lesley (6/5): - Location was ideal for exploring the area. Breakfast was poor. Paper plates that collapsed. Same food served every day. Rooms were a bit dated and smelt musty probably from the ancient noisy air-conditioning unit.

• Harriet (8/5): Great location and friendly staff - Location was great only 10mins walk from Beale street. It was on a main road so felt safe. Very Quiet considering on main road. Parking easy and free. Nothing that the staff/hotel could do but noisy guests waking us up at ridiculous hours of the night and early morning. It happened 2 out of our booked 3 nights so we decided to take off a night early. Other than that absolutely fabulous hotel. Just take some ear plugs!

• Raymon (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf in downtown Memphis - We hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad bij La Quinta downtown Memphis. De locatie is uitstekend: centraal gelegen en ideaal om de stad te verkennen. Veel bezienswaardigheden, restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden zijn goed bereikbaar. De kamer was schoon, comfortabel en ruim genoeg. Het bed sliep goed en de voorzieningen waren prima in orde. Ook het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, wat het verblijf extra aangenaam maakte.

A sitting area with separate TV for those that need to work. All room facilities provided. The fridge was noisy so we had to unplug it.

Habitación amplia, espaciosa y confortable, con aire acondicionado, TV y minibar. Muy buena señal de Wifi. El establecimiento dispone de gimnasio, parking y pileta de natación. El desayuno es abundante y con buen café. Personal atento y servicial. En el desayuno ofrecen productos industrializados y en algunos casos poco saludables. Todos los utensilios son de plástico y descartables.

• Steve Coggan (8/5): Comfortable stay without the frills! - A convenient 10 to 15 minute walk to downtown attractions, tea & coffee available all day in the lobby, spacious room Breakfast finish time during week days is only offerred until 9.00am which isn't ideal for tourist clientele, at the weekend it's available untill 10.00 am, I did get the distinct feeling that they were catering for business customers rather than tourist trade, even though there were many such customers gathering between 8.30 & 9.00am with too few tables available for the late rush. The room rates are certainly on the pricey side for the out of centre location, the couple of the reception team could have been more helpful.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance of downtown. Free parking was very important to us. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was average, similar to what you find in many hotels; for a European it may feel a bit different than usual, but overall it was perfectly fine. nothing

• Paul (7/5): Good value for money and location for Memphis. - Breakfast was good but basic. Location was convenient and easy walking to most of Memphis CBD area. Felt safe in the hotel and when walking, however did experience a few homeless between hotel and Stadium. Room was a good size with expected facilities. We did not like people having their dogs in the restaurant area during breakfast and one of the lifts was not operating properly during our stay, as in not able to choose the 3rd floor.

• Ann (5/5): Was ok. House keeping replaced towels. Bedding was not fresh. King bed was comfortable. Breakfast had warm options eggs - Location calling distance to Beale street. Trash in the parking lot. Lots of noisy young guests at night. This is not the fault of the property but rather a tour. One of those stays when guests return back late at night and start screaming down the halls, pounding on doors, and yelling to be let in.
• April (10/5): Great value, great location. - This hotel is in a great location. We attended Grizzlies’ games. It is a short, safe walk to the stadium.

• Claire (9/5): Fantastic 😃 - Staff friendly and welcoming throughout, safe place to stay, location fab. In the middle between Beale and Sun Studios meant just a 10mins easy walk to each. Comfortable, clean and excellent value. FREE PARKING!!! The pool area looked a little grim, breakfast samey , not wide choice however we stayed in the on the weekdays - so cant compare to a weekend choice.

At 1pm on our 1st night we were woken by a lady with a key to our room trying to enter the room luckily we had put the lock across, she said that it was her room ! After she went back to reception, reception phoned us & asked us what we was doing in that room, we explained it was our room. The next morning we complained to reception who said management would look into the matter & get back to us - they never did !! Very poor customer service to think anyone could have a key to your room & no one followed this up

• 230jjh (8/5): A Perfect Getaway - We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, spacious and spotless. The staff were very friendly, willing to help and make restaurant suggestions. I do recommend this hotel for a weekend stay, especially if you’re attending a concert at the FedEx Forum, as it’s within walking distance.
• Savona (10/5): It was comfortable and I would return and recommend to others. - Good location, clean hotel, and the staff always greeted us every day and time we left or came in with a smile. Courtesy goes along way in the hotel business. The shower was very slippery without a mat and was dangerous, however when my wife and I asked for a mat, without delay the staff provided us with one, awesome job and truly appreciated the fast response to our issue to make us safer.

So unlike some of the prior posters, we made sure to remove our belongings rather than getting our vehicle broken into (hey, it’s a big city!) The hotel was clean and quiet. The bed was not supper comfy but okay for a 2 night stay. Pillows could have been a little more comfy but we made them work. Morning breakfast was the usual Wyndham fare (cereal, waffles, toast, etc) but also had scrambled eggs and sausage. We just one morning and slept in the next. Clos to far end of Beale Street and easy walk to the Cardinals’ AAA stadium
