The location was very convenient — right near Meydan, and the airport is just a 10-minute bus ride away. The room was great, clean and comfortable. Everything was well-maintained. I highly recommend this hotel! There was nothing like that.

• Andrew (4/5): Noisy place, cheap though - Rustic, run-down feel to the place. About the cheapest hotel in the city. Noisy: near two busy main roads, building site and a port. Bathroom cupboard broken. Musty smell. No headroom in the shower. Bit of a walk to town.

• Brian (9/5): Great value with authentic feel, perfect location to catch my Monastery tour from nearby city center - Friendly staff (and many thanks to Erdal who was of great help to me!! Especially for this tired tourist.). The hotel was in a good location to walk to my meeting point for my Sumela Monastery tour transport, and on my final day for taking a dolmus to Ataturk Pavilion (I also walked in the quiet neighborhood by the Pavilion). Plus the hotel is so close to the airport. I slept well! They have breakfast included, the hotel has traditional decor with authentic architectural features, and was very clean. I noticed they have an outdoor area with tables but the weather was wet and cool so I believe that is for the warmer months. I booked the discounted room so a tall person may not like the slanted roofline (especially in the bathroom). It is an easy walk to the town center where there are restaurant choices, and I also walked down to a park by the Sea which was a beautiful and pleasant before catching dinner. I rated this hotel high because of the overall value which was perfect for my needs. People in town and my tour guides were familiar with the hotel. Thanks Erdal for all of your help, your English was perfect and I am glad I talked to you so you could also share some of your background including that of basketball management (these conversations are the things that make travel interesting)! I would suggest fresh coffee being available if possible instead of instant. I saw the coffee makers but perhaps they were for the busy season.

Breakfast was great too—lots of tasty options to choose from. Just a heads up. There’s a mosque right across the road, and the early morning call to prayer (around 4am) can be quite loud. It’s a meaningful part of the local culture, but if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring some earplugs.

Çalışanlar, oldukça iyi ve yardımsever. Kahvaltı gayet yeterliydi, kuymağına da bayıldım. Ayrıca, Türk kahvesi için de tekrar çok teşekkür ederim.

Pencereyi açmam halinde hemen yan odamın balkonundakiler odamı görebiliyordu bu sebeple odamı nadiren havalandırabildim. Klima deseniz oda çok küçük olduğu için tam yatağın karşısında. Yaz sıcağında açmasam olmuyor. Açsam direkt çarpıyor. 5 dk açıp kapatarak idare ettim. Odada sadece banyoda çöp kovası vardı. Bence oda içine konulması lazım yiyecek ve içecek çöplerini mecburen ayrı bir poşete koymak zorun kaldım. Kahvaltısı ortaydı gayet karın doyuruyor.

• CATHERINE (8/5): Excellent rapport qualité prix pour la chambre éco - Hôtel "à l'ancienne" situé sur un grand boulevard, à quelques minutes du centre ville. Si vous êtes sensible au bruit, demandez une chambre vers l'arrière, mais le double vitrage est très efficace. J'avais choisi une chambre simple économique. Parfait quand on ne mesure pas plus d'1m 70 (cf la salle de bains très mansardée, sans bac de douche). Chambre bien équipée, parfaite pour un court séjour. Petit déjeuner varié.

There is no voice isolation like you can hear others music or foot steps in next rooms .. Wifi connection was very weak .. I think the prices are high also .. Thank you ..
• PAVEL (8/5): Good value for money - Convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from Meydan. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though none of the guys spoke English. The hotel is well-maintained and the breakfast is good. My room was even smaller than I expected, however, that was not a big inconvenience for me. Anyway, it's good value for money for Trabzon.
• Yoram (6/5): Pleasant - the single room was very small but nicely decorated with wooden floor and ceiling. wi.fi was good and there was plenty of good water it had a fridge but no kettele. my room had a nice view of a graden (but the single room opposite my room was facing the sea so it was better. it was also a bit bigger then my room) the room was very small. the bathroom was also very small with low ceiling. breakfast startts at 07.30. the day before i told the guy in the reception that i want to leave early and he told me i can get a basic breakfast at 07.00. but when i came in 07.00 there was no body to give food and the guy in the reception ( different guy from the previous day) said i can only get breakfast at 07.30. so i left without any breakfast. the hoteli10 minutes from the center. next time i will definitely take one in the center
