• Helen Louise (9/5): Brilliant. It was my second time in the same accommodation because it is so good - I was sent the code in advance and it worked perfectly It was quite hot, but there was a small window to open

• Tatiana (9/5): - Nice apartments in the city center. They have everything you need for preparing food, and a supermarket open until 22:00 is just nearby. The host is very friendly. You can also leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out. The mattresses were too soft for our liking, and the floor could have been a bit cleaner. There was no shampoo provided.

• Olivia (6/5): Lovely flat but unfortunately felt unsafe due to next door neighbours - Was a really clean and tidy flat, and (in theory) in a great location - very close to the heart of Reykjavík and lots of parking nearby. The location - next to a homeless shelter/ something similar. Mostly had no issues but one resident did come across the street and throw stuff at our car when we came back from a northern lights trip. Wouldn’t recommend staying here as a group of female travellers.

• Iris (9/5): Super fijn! - Mooie studio, je kunt er koken, wat fijn is! Fijne badkamer en prima bedden. Mooie locatie dichtbij het centrum. Er is een wasmachine wat erg fijn is! Ook leuk dat er al wat olie, kruiden etc stond. Fijne prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en je kunt dichtbij parkeren! De enige kleine minpuntjes, de douche stonk soms naar stilstaand water door een open doucheafvoetputje en er was geen echte goede ventilatie. De ramen konden wel open dus dat was hiermee op te lossen

• N (6/5): Overpriced for the size of room - The room was located right in the heart of city. Very well located. However, the room and bathroom were too small. Even bathroom amenities werent enough. Highly priced. I am sure we could have found a better room at the same price someplace else. Not worth it Size of room and bathroom and minimal amenities.

• Charlene (8/5): - Loved staying at Alfred's studios - 15 minute walk to the 14 bus stop for the flybus and tours; and 2 blocks from all the shops and restaurants. My tall husband was very happy with the bed lengths, there was everything we needed to cook breakfast. One thing to note - no elevator and the stairs are steep, somewhat narrow and winding so try to get a lower floor room if you bring luggage.

We had a miscommunication on the twin/double bed expectation, and the manager went above and beyond to get our beds redone very late in the evening, was very polite as well. The room was much smaller than we expected from the pictures, although everything was as on the pictures, it felt crammed. The ventilation was barely enough, not able to open the windows fully. Noise from the street.
• B737NGDriver (6/5): Good location - Excellent and timely communication with the host allowed for a quick and easy online check-in and key code entry. Great location - just a short walk to the main downtown strip Laugavegur. Great little kitchenette has everything you'd need if you're planning on doing your own catering - there are also washers/dryers available. The host left excellent travel/local information on the main table in the suite. Comfortable bed. Parking is a challenge. Be sure to have to Parka app in use to make life easier. The staircase up to the front door and then up to the 3rd and 4th floor is tiny and steep - not good for those with mobility issues and large luggage. There is no elevator. The tiny bathroom puts the "C" in "WC". The neighbourhood, being full of other apartments and next door to a hostel, can be active and noisy in the evening.
• Lesley Maria (10/5): - Wonderful little apartment in super location close to everything 🤗 we even walked the easy 20 minutes from the main bus station, and bus stop 14 for the airport bus was only 5 mins away. Laundry room was very useful too 👍 AND we had two pillows each!! 😂 would absolutely choose again next time we're in Reykjavik x Very very minor but hard not to make the floor really wet with only a shower curtain

• Jane (10/5): Sweet little Iceland apt- love it! - The place is very comfortable, safe and well cared for. It is exceptionally clean. The staff is super kind and thoughtful. You get a little kitchenette and a balcony. It was close to the bus stop #14 so it was an easy bus transfer from the airport. Which is important because Taxis are way too expensive!!! Right in town not far from the cool church and the main town fun stuff. Also close the water. Beds were very comfortable. We would stay here for sure next time. It’s like your own little Iceland Apt.

• Georg (5/5): Misleading information on parking - Both building and rooms are nice and clean, bed was comfy The description states that "free parking is available on the street", which we feel is rather misleading. For starters, in the area around the apartment one has to pay for parking, and even then there's barely any spots available. A guide received by the host states one could park further away from the center, where parking is free, and just walk here, but as a tourist I have no idea if e.g. I can just park in an unmarked spot or before a house, so this isn't exactly a good option. Also, luggage. It boils down to this: we were *specifically* looking for a place with parking because we didn't want to have to deal with any of this, and we had a flight to catch. Because of the misleading information we had to waste time and had trouble with our schedule, so sadly the rating has to reflect this.
