Guest Reviews
- Richard (8/5): - Room was clean and quiet.
- Jennifer (6/5): - Room was fine, location was ok, weird guy who sat in his truck in the parking lot *acted like he worked there* but was there all evening and night and was hanging out smoking pot with some random guy in another vehicle. Rather creepy.
- Linda (8/5): - I was shocked to see no breakfast at all just coffee in the lobby
- Andrew (8/5): - Super-helpful staff, quiet property, and a good night's sleep.
- Pepper (10/5): - Accommodating
- Chris (4/5): - The outside of the hotel looks old and run down. The lobby smelled bad and so did the halls. Hallway carpet was gross. The front desk clerk was greasy looking. The room itself was not bad.
- Josh (6/5): - Room was pretty dirty carpet was pretty tough shape and the heat registers were beat up and falling apart. Bed was pretty good. Fridge and microwave were pretty good too
- Michelle (4/5): - unplugged tv, broken chair, terrible wi-fi, lamp put together with nylon straps to hold it to wall, would never stay here again
- MOLLY (10/5): - Great stay. Very clean!
- Charlene (6/5): - We were in the back side of the property ,and there were men hanging around back there. Not sure what was going on there. It made my brother and I very uncomfortable .We think they are staying there. The Gentleman that takes care of folks, also does the cleaning and replaces the towels. But did not change our bedding,we stayed for three nights.Prices were fair but I booked in April for our July trip..He tries too make it a pleasant stay You have too ask for ice. And hair dryer, ironing board & iron.they do have a microwave and nice size fridge. The shower was not great,no water pressure, and difficulty setting the temp.Beds comfortable, overall a fair place too rest.
- Doug (4/5): - The place smells
Needs new carpet
- Joel (4/5): - The hotel and staff are always friendly but they didnt have my reservation from the website. They said that happens a lot with you guys so I wont be using Hotels.com to book there again.
- marsha (10/5): - Love grocery store neighbor.
- Jillian (2/5): - This place is a dump. Not unsanitary or unsafe but not much else either. It's not warm, comforting, welcoming, inviting, pleasant, enjoyable. I stopped here in an emergency to get off the roads during a blizzard. I wouldn't recommend it for any other reason other than an immediate need for safety at night.
- Debbie (8/5): - Nice facility. Price was good. A bit outdated.
- Robert (2/5): - They call it mountain inn when it should be stated iron mountain and not mountain two different towns I expected it to be in mountain just to find out it was in iron mountain 2&1/2 hours north of mountain so I couldn't cancel or resolve my registration,
- Lorinda S. (8/5): - It looks like remodeling going on.
- Brian (10/5): - You can tell it is an old hotel however the updates to the room i was in made ut very comfy for a weeks stay
- Carole (4/5): - The owner was nice. It is rundown. Looks like they tried to remodel. Pay the extra 10 and stay across the street
- Kevin (2/5): Not clean - I did not stay. The rm was not clean. Bedding had black dots on them (maybe from bedbugs) and hair in sheets. Carpet was dirty. Was in my rm maybe 20 minutes went to front desk and they would not refund my money back. I dont recommend this hotel to anyone
- Sandra (2/5): - We did not stay… couldn’t find our reservation so we checked in separately. Went back to the desk got our money back and left the hotel is falling apart and is soooooo dirty
- Molly (6/5): - It was nice, definitely not a five-star place but good enough for a night of sleep.
- James (8/5): - Let me emphasize that this review is for the Mountain Inn in Iron Mountain, Michigan. There are some bad reviews that are obviously not for this hotel. The building does NOT have homeless people sleeping in the parking lot. The room was clean, the recliner chair was comfortable enough to sleep in. The TV was the largest I ever encountered in a hotel. My only complaint was that the first floor windows don’t open but the A/C worked fine.
- Arthur (4/5): Disgusting - Dirty dirty dirty , mold in bathroom, on floor
Smell bad , everything was dirty , mirors and tv sceen smudged and dirty, coffee was out , none
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room was ok. Bed was clean but everything else was stained and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Dead flies on the floor. I wouldn't walk around barefoot. The lobby smelled very very bad and didn't give a very good first impression. Thankfully the room didn't smell. Service was good and the person that checked us in was very nice. Not bad for the price, but I've paid less for way nicer places.
- Dillon (2/5): - ...
- Kristin (8/5): - Just a good quiet place to stay for a night or 2. Would recommend. Its not fancy but good.
- lisa (10/5): - Rooms were updated and very clean. Friendly service. Great place to stay for the price. Had muffins for breakfast
- Christos (2/5): - Filthy, smell in room made me nauseous. I left, went to another motel.
Disgusting
- Nancy (4/5): - Overhead noise and bad smelling room.
- Cheyenne (2/5): WARNING. Do NOT stay here - This place was horrible beyond belief. If i had not been so exhausted on road trip with a broken ,swollen ankle and with with my 10 yr old daughter, and this trip had been refundable we would have walked in and walked out. The room was filthy. The bedding, all the bedding and sheets were stained and filthy and stank. The floors were dirty. The bath tub/shower was totally dirty. The vinyl headboards had claw marks and was disgustingly filthy. The whole room smelled horrible. We had to take our blankets and pillows put them down on top of the bed as a barrier between the filth just so we could sleep on the bed and in fear of the bedbugs. It was the worst place i have ever stayed in my entire life. I have pictures. Do not stay here. You will be thoroughly disgusted. In fact, i do not know who regulates these places but I will find out and will report it.
- Edwina (8/5): - Very busy area. Parking lot was very rough.
Overall a good stay
- Gene (2/5): - Old and dirty
