- John (10/5): - Was clean and in good location was 2nd time at this property and will definitely be booking again next trip to Forres
- Jennifer (5/5): Not as expected - Good central location Toilet rim was very dirty . No instructions for heating so no heat till day2. Fridge was not on so could not chill drinks for hours. Toaster did not work. No fire assembly instructions. Coffee machine but no pods. Apartment not as in photos. Key safe did not lock.
- Iris (10/5): This is the second time we have stayed here. Being disabled this property was perfect for me. -
- joseph (7/5): -
- Andy (10/5): - Clean and cosy
- Kevin (6/5): - Regular visitor to the area and have already re-booked for next year. Good location and a beautiful part of Scotland There were a couple of minor issues that we addressed directly with the owner - no need to disclose here
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Great location just off the High street in a private, quiet area. The pillows! Too puffy or too flat, no happy medium.
Did not spoil our 2 night stay but if we'd stayed longer would probably buy a medium pillow.
- Mike (10/5): -
- Martina (9/5): - The place was cozy and clean. We would recommend it to anyone visiting the Forres.
- Barbara (8/5): -
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marta (7/5): Good - Close to shops, easy to drive to interesting places. Noises from flat above. Someone smoking behind the bedroom window.
- Rhona (10/5): Lovely base in Forfar - Good communication from our host, Great location for touring the area. Parking space was a bit tight for our quite large vehicle but we were able to unload outside the apartment then use free on street parking just a few feet away.
The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to self cater very easily. Supermarket is only a 5 min drive but there are lots of shops available on the High Street.
The bedroom was a good size with lots of plug points. We had excellent sleep in the very comfortable bed and the shower had really good water pressure.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property for anyone looking to base themselves in Forfar. Not a complaint but an observation. There was a lovely elderly couple staying upstairs who were quite active. The soundproofing is not the best so we were aware of all their movements. It didn't stop me sleeping though.
- Lynn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amanda (9/5): Superb - Right in the middle of town, everything you need close to accommodation
- Kimmett (9/5): Superb -
- Marie (3/5): Would not consider staying here again there is better accommodation on offer in Forres. - The location was OK, a bit noisy as there appeared to be a manufacturing facility nearby, possibly a bakery Customer service.
Had an issue with the shower which could not be repaired until next day. Although Carlo had a free apartment that was not offered until 4pmish when I was away with friends . The issue was sent by text to him at 9am. I did not see the text which finally offered the other apartment until after 10pm , as you would expect ,holidays are for fun not looking at my phone all evening Numerous texts and phone calls from plumbing company and Carlo throughout the day.
As I was only there for three nights my priority was seeing friends not speaking to Carlo or plumbers.
When I asked for some kind of recompense for the inconvenience ,considering the faulty shower had scalded my scalp his attitude was "this is my business, I will decide". He also said" you would have to wait over a week at home for a shower repair", I pointed out that I would not be paying £255 for three nights at home.
Carlo was very friendly when asking me to change apartments to accommodate a guest with a sick dog which couldn't manage the stairs but shocking manner when a problem arose. I helped him out without a second thought.
As I too have worked in hospitality, customer service is important and so is paying for a repair plan so guests are not left waiting
- Sand (7/5): Great place to stay - Has everything you need, and is clean and comfortable.
- David (9/5): Great facilities in a one bedroom appartment. - A small one bed apartment but had everything you need. Well stocked with facilities needed for a short or longer stay. Nothing

- Lynn (10/5): Absolutely fabulous 10/10 angel loved it 🐶 - Always clean and tidy a home from home and it’s dog friendly that’s our 4th time staying in them there r fab apartments defo recommend them I just wish there was a brush and shovel to brush up before we left as we had been to the beach and the floor was left sandy I always like to leave a place as I get it
- Sal (9/5): Superb -
- Carswell (10/5): Would use again - Didn’t spend much time in the property but it was very clean Can’t think of anything
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arnold (10/5): Exceptional - Great location...exactly what we wanted
- Richard (8/5): Very good - Great location & good parking. Shower control fiddly - either too hot or freezing and shower head hard to position. Toilet seat does not stay up - tricky for men!
- Gillian (8/5): Great wee flat for self catering - Cleean comfortable and cosy accommodation, have stayed several times and hope to do so again :) No oven trays for the oven
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Iris (10/5): Our stay at property was fine. All on one level and on ground floor which was good for me as due to my disability can’t - Being disabled was very good as was close to shops and restaurants. Everything was great.
- Max (9/5): Perfect to visit family - Location and Cleanliness Nothing
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (7/5): We only stayed for a few days and generally had no major complaints. - Facilities within the apartment were very good, clean and everything you would expect. The general location was good although Forres is not a large town. The bathroom floor was in a poor state of repair.
- Harry (8/5): Very good - Enjoyed location excellent for town and facilities The noise from flat above !!
- Hilary (8/5): Very good - Comfortable bed and bath
- Helena (9/5): Superb - Lovely apartment close to the town’s amenities.
- Janet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Moira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (8/5): Very good - Spacious well equipped and clean apartment close to the town centre. Very comfortable for a couple of nights.
- Yvonne (8/5): Short break - Property is in a great location. Convienent for local amenities and also for exploring further afield. Good value for money and has most things that we need. Communication with the host is excellent, and there isn't any drama. This is our 3rd stay. The bathroom is a little tired, and floor tiles are loose, so it could be a potential hazard. Not having a long handled floor brush. Breaks the back using the small brush and dustpan.
Finally, the wind was howling under the front door to the apartment, and it was very noisy. I think this is because the velux window was open in the stairwell. We had to put a towel against the bottom of the front door to stop the noise of the wind.
However, we will book to stay here again.
- Tamsin (8/5): Will stay again - Good size apartment, all facilities provided. It was clean and in a great place for the location. Very useful having a parking place. We've stayed here before and will again as it's very reliable. Needed a bigger kitchen bin, plus tiles in bathroom floor were broken. Instructions for washer drier would have been helpful.
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Lyn (9/5): Superb -
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (8/5): Comfy, quiet apartment in great location. - Excellent location and private parking was a bonus. Bathroom needs some work.
- Mackenzie (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernard (8/5): Very Pleasant - location was excellant. nothing
- David (10/5): Exellent stay - Great location, essy to access, good facilities, good wifi, helpful host 👍 Nothing
- Avril (10/5): Exceptional - Couldn't fault the apartment, had everything you need, took my own hairdryer ect and didn't need to, it was all there, ion and iron board, location was ideal for what we wanted, we were there for a funeral and having a great apartment helped
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Brenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (10/5): Would recommend - Good Location was well equipped, had iron and board, hairdryer, all kitchen equipment, good private parking, local amenities, bakery supermarkets, quiet, we used as a base to visit various historic locations, easy to find. Lovely apartment, would recommend. Floor tile in bathroom a bit loose.
- Gillian (8/5): Very good - Lovely clean apartment conveniently situated right in the heart of Forres,so plenty shops and restaurants around. Good communication with host and easy entry to property. Nice to have kitchen essentials such as washing up liquid and kitchen roll. Lack of a non stick pan, not great when you want to cook a nice breakfast.
Shower head keeps slipping down so needed to be held by hand but no big deal.
- Rhona (10/5): Perfect Stay - Love these apartments when I'm up to see my Dad Nothing
- Brown (9/5): Superb - Your own entrance, easy parking, convenient restaurants and shops, well equipped kitchen. Comfy bed. Other apartments getting hoovered at 6.30 in the morning.
- Sarajane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rowena (9/5): We had a comfortable stay. Carlo is very helpful. - Clean. Accessible. Can hear footsteps from the apartment above.
- Sarap79 (8/5): Great location - Location and parking was great. Easy check in, and very easy to fine. Location is on the high street next to everything you need from shops, walks and just a wander. It was a bit smaller than we thought. The sofa area is different to the picture.
- Daniel (9/5): Very well furnished - Very well furnished apartment with everything you need Some loose/cracked tiles on bathroom floor
- Christine (7/5): Good -
- Michelle (8/5): Very good - Very central Needs a little work in bathroom. Shower head does not stay up on the rail so had to duck down to get shower
- Wright (10/5): Exceptional -
- J (8/5): Good. Thank you - Comfortable, well appointed, well equipped. Middle of town with plenty of local amenities. Bathroom extractor didin't work and tiled floor was cracked with grouting missing.
Upright chairs had wobbly legs but owner went to replace as soon as he was informed.
- Beebop1 (7/5): Good - Great location. Not every thing listed in the flat is in the flat. No toiletries or fan (it was hot!). I asked for a fan because I couldn't sleep and the owner said he'd get one but he didn't. If you want to use the coffee machine you'll have to bring your own coffee capsules and instructions.
- Moira (2/5): - Apartment was dirty as it had not been cleaned. First impressions are what you have to review on. Did not get cleaned till after 5pm, not good enough if you are to run a successful business.
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (8/5): Good short stay - The location of the flat is great, very central for shops, eating, pubs and for taking the dog walks. It's also easy to travel to other lovely spots via the car such as Nairn, Roseisle forest and beach. The flat was adequate, clean and tidy. It does need upgrading but it didn't effect our short stay. Contact with the host was good with clear instructions for finding the property and getting access to the flat. We had no issues during out stay. The following is more of a suggestion and not a dislike. The bed isn't the best and could be doing with being replaced. A long handled brush would be useful to sweep up especially as we had the dog. A spare bin bag would be useful
- Mandy (7/5): Good -
- Gordon (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, very comfortable and excellent communication from the owner.
- Jerry (10/5): Comfortable very clean flat everything we needed for our stay - located centrally for all the shops and food outlets on the high street, Very clean flat not really anything to dislike.
- Thomas (10/5): lovely little apartment, well situated. Will definitely stay here again - Great location near all amenities but still quiet. Very clean and well equipped. Extremely comfy bed. nothing
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Ross (10/5): Stress free, comfortable, wish it could have been for longer! - Carlo messaged a few days in advance with details of how to obtain the keys, the location/directions. Which was perfect, all so smooth. The apartment is kitted out with all modcons - you could easily live in it! Just an all round, stress free, relaxing experience. Thank you! I cannot think of anything that would have added to the wonderful experience we enjoyed.
