Guest Reviews
- Heather (8/5): Friendly, family-run accommodation with wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Can recommend staying here for an authent - Great location
Quiet
Friendly staff
Nice big room (Superior Room)
Fantastic views of rice padis and mountains
Lovely swimming pool Needs new towels and shelf in bathroom for toiletries

- Ramon (3/5): The worse in my last 2 months in bali - Location and A/C The attitude of the old dude of the check in , I asking him if he can change the pillows covers because was stinky like a another person. He said we dont have more if you dont like talk with my boss or go to the front hotel. A lot of constructions around and behind the room they was hammering the wall from 7pm-11pm and the same the unbelievable again from 6:30 am - 11am . Bed super dirty cover, no shower gel and dust everywhere. You need to have a low IQ to do remodeling constructions from 8am -11am knowing is a place with tourists trying to sleep early in the morning , they suppose to do it after check out times at least is just common sense . They don’t change bed covers , pillows covers and the bathroom my lord they don’t use cleaning products plus the old dude from the staff said we don’t have laundry or extra mattress covers and pillows covers . Don’t complain to me email my bos and I said relax I just did a question why you are so mad . Lucky I respect old people because the history will end different.
- Elkafoury (7/5): Good - Location , helpfull staff Many Geckos
- Lukas (8/5): Very good - Very bright and spacious rooms. Ants
- Diana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Diane (5/5): Passable - Staff is very kind and friendly. No wifi for two of the four days there, no hot water - barely skin temperature.
- Dani (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dani (5/5): Okay for what you pay. - Friendly staff, nice pool, good location, clean bedsheets Very outdated, especially toilet. The shower was broken and the sink was too. Lots of ants inside the room and bathroom.
- Massimo (8/5): Very good -
- Prospero (6/5): I've slept, and that's it. - location is excellent, the room is decent for the price we paid, the staff is very nice, they have a swimming pool too and a view on a little rice field. the bathroom was a NO in our room, but a BIG NO, I can't describe it, the bedsheets were super thin, pillows small and only a thin duvet to cover us, air conditioner swing system was broken and pointed straight to the bed, the room window can't be closed securely and the position of the room was beside the stairs and you can ear all the noises and the talking from the people.
- Baptista (6/5): good value for the price but needs improvement - the location was peaceful and quiet right over the patties.
breakfast was nice, just wish it would be more amount.
they provide tours and scooter rental with good prices.
the pool is very nice and staff was very kind. when we got to the property the room was not very clean, the sheets were stained and old, kinda looked used. when we requested to change the sheets they did it, and looked clean but still stained and old. needs improvement on the cleaning (specially the bathroom)
- Howells (5/5): It was okay - Pretty location facing the rice fields Was quite far from the town - had to use a grab taxi to get into town each time. Bed sheets had multiple stains in them and the walls were dirty. If I was a solo traveller I wouldn’t feel too safe here either as my back balcony door wouldn’t shut so was left open all the time.
- Hilda (6/5): Pleasant -
- Karla (8/5): Very good -
- Adrianna (1/5): Vermin, mold, fungus, the owner cheats in the same way - When we arrived at the hotel, it turned out that the staff had made a mistake and there were no rooms reserved for us. The staff offered a room in another hotel, but without the pool and in a different location (far from the other 2 rooms in the hotel originally booked). Additionally, it turned out that there was a fungus and bedbugs in the hotel, the photos were significantly different from what we found there. We decided on the spot that we would not use the services due to this situation and canceled the reservation with the owner with a decision to refund the account. The owner promised to refund the money, but said that we had to report it via booking. When we did this, the owner refused to refund the money. We didn't spend a single minute in the hotel and we had to pay for 3 days! After reading reviews on Google, it turned out that this was the owner's constant way of cheating customers. He tells everyone there was a mistake and there are no rooms, promises a refund and then doesn't refund it. Cheaters! And Booking should be ashamed of continuing to promote such an owner. Shame.
- Viktoria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay. Peaceful, relaxing and a great spot to explore Ubud from. - Lovely pool, great quiet location and friendly staff. Walking distance from Ubud town or you can get a grab bike taxi. The location of the hotel is tucked away down a path, with views from rooms across the rice fields. Staff were fiery and helpful. Kitchen was out of order but didn’t matter as there are some restaurants and a shop on the nearby road, plus great options in Ubud or food delivery available with the grab. We would definitely recommend Uma Kutah 2! Kitchen out of order. No bottled water available.
- Louise (9/5): Superb -
- Lescure (7/5): Good -
- Svetlana (5/5): be aware about construction - Bright room, good AC construction on the site ruined all experience.
missing hooks in bathroom. bed sheets with stains
- Sekar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nerea (9/5): Superb -
- Juan (8/5): Very good -
- Sofie (8/5): Recommend - Amazing staff, price worthy
- Murray (9/5): Superb -
- Felicity (1/5): Very poor, disappointing and Bio Health Hazard. - The pool and view Appallingly dirty filthy curtains grey, I made the staff send them to wash and they tried to get me to pay. Bathroom filthy toilet disgusting I bought my own cleaning equipment and asked staff the use. Final straw was when I found the “cleaner using the toilet brush to clean the bathroom sink.!! I gave him a sponge I had bought for the sink he then used that to clean the toilet and left it on the sink! I left but have suffered with projectile vomiting and diarrhoea since. No help from Booking.come to rerun my payment paid in advance! Quick to make a booking and very slow to deal with complaints or refunds.
- Julieta (10/5): Excellent staff, super nice - Beautiful place and excellent location No hot water in the shower
- Jade (9/5): Amazing - Staff lovely, bike rental, was able to book excursions and ferry through the hostel. Actual room was very good felt clean and spacious. Aircon working and hot water Ants would get in under the door
- Erika (8/5): Very good -
- Insaf (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jenni (10/5): Nyaman banget, dan stafnya very helpful - Pool and the garden The shower is broke, dan airnya jadi muncrat2 karna bocor
- Kumar (8/5): Very good -
- Sofia (9/5): Superb - Big room, nice pool, good location, lovely staff, air con
- Kartik (1/5): Bad -
- Rasha (8/5): Very good - The view is amazing the beed is very comfortable the staff are very friendly The rooms has very light white curtains no kettle inside the room for making tee no shampoo or soap given
- Dhea (8/5): Very good -
- Mathilde (8/5): Great value for what you paid for, and a good escape for the busy street of Ubud center. - The staff, the view over the rice fields, the pool area, the street was much nicer and quiet than Ubud center. You are just surrounded by rice fields it’s a really nice experience. My only comment will be maybe be with the curtain in the room, they are here kind of just for decoration and you have the room completely bright as soon as the sun is up (around 6-7am). I slept with a sleep mask. Not a big deal but I think it’s better to know it before.
- Glenn (4/5): Very cheap but you get what you pay for. - Nice pool. Good price. Ground level room had almost transparent curtains that had huge brown stains and can be see through from the pool area. Room had ants throughout and water came in under the door and flooded the floor when it rain.
- Sharif (5/5): Passable -
- Aoife (6/5): Pleasant - Some friendly staff
Nice setting Bed sheets were paper thin and filthy with holes in them.
The weather in Ubud was terrible when we were there which led to flooding in our room.
Toilet seat was hanging off.
Most staff were friendly apart from one man in particular.
Would not return
- Sarah (5/5): Passable -
- Lærke (8/5): Very good - Nice pool, friendly and helpful staff. tours and scooter rental at sight. we lived on the highest floor, and the Roof was a bit leaky, thus water was running on the wall when it was raining.
- Ahmed (8/5): Very good - Staff are awesome super friendly and always helpful
