• Emilie (9/5): Pleasant stay - The place is nice and the pool was very relaxing. Breakfast (noodle soup, fruit, coffee, juice) was tasty. The staff is very friendly. Bed was comfy. I rented a scooter a bit further down the road at Joko Joglo, great quality for a great price and very friendly owner. The temple is close by, you can go on foot or by scooter. The room smelled a bit damp. There was mold in the bathroom. I believe there was only one other guest and when I asked if I could check-out half an hour later, I was told I had to pay extra (which I can understand if it is high season) but now it felt a bit strange.

• Sabine (8/5): - Die Lage und der Pool. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich Das Zimmer wurde wahrscheinlich länger nicht benutzt, es hat sehr, sehr muffig gerochen. Vor dem Zimmer war die Pumpe für den Pool, sehr laut. Das Waschbecken ist undicht gewesen und dadurch das Bad unter Wasser.

• Roger (8/5): Charming, cozy hotel, very close to Borobudur. - Charming, cozy atmosphere, traditional setting. Very friendly staff, nice room, comfortable beds, good hot shower. Basic, but fulfilling breakfast (Indonesian fare only). Really nice swimming pool. Location just a few hundred metres from Borobudur UNESCO World Heritage Site. Reading light in the room was a bit dim.

Toutefois, le carrelage de la piscine était cassé et un des membres de notre famille s'est vraiment blessé au pied sur un bout tranchant (hôpital et points de suture).

Il tutto raggiungibile a piedi. La nostra camera pulita e spaziosa (TV, bollitore, aria condizionata, stendino) con patio con tavolino e due sedie. In camera due bottigliette d' acqua. Indie molto gentile e disponibile. . Ci ha organizzato il tour dei templi e transferimento a Yogyakarta. Accetta pagamento con carta di credito Wifi gratuito. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

• K (3/5): Best for a one night stay to see the local temple if that's what you are going for. - The pool was nice. A few tiles were missing from the base of the pool so needed to be careful of the sharp edges but overall it was nice. We booked for 5 people so paid for 2 rooms being one for 3 and another for 2. At all the other hotels a spare bed was used for the 3rd child. Over here they refused and charged us an exorbitant fee relative to the booking to have a mattress on the floor. The rooms are very old. Bathroom is mouldy. There is no shower door or curtain so taking a shower soaks the bathroom including the toilet. In one room the bathroom door didn't close. I can see in reviews that this has been a problem for at least 2 years. It's an easy fix to rectify this but a fix doesn't appear to be a priority. Our tap in the sink was broken. The fan in the bathroom was incredibly noisy, could be mistaken for a generator or moped. Was told there was a restaurant on site, no restaurant exists however there is a kitchen to make breakfasts.

• Ward (8/5): Very good - Very close to the templegrounds. Nice swimming pool right next to the rooms which is heavenly refreshing after facing the burning heat of borobudur. Breakfast was a choice between indonesian or international food, fresh fruits and a glass of juice and coffee/tea.

• Leelian (6/5): Pleasant - Its a small property, with a cozy feel. I like the furnishing, wood, basic & simple design. Woke up in the morning, and find pink flowers floating in the pool. I feel it is rustic and charming. Breakfast is complimemtary but very limited. There should have an add on option, for those who need more food.

• eric (10/5): - This gem of a hotel is a hidden secret. Just 200m walk from the famous temple, the rooms are clean and cool, the pool is close to every room, the staff are excellent and very helpful, close to shops and eating places. Great breakfast too. Could not reccomend enough.

• Iain (4/5): Central location, but don’t expect to get much sleep. - Breakfast was very good. Staff were very helpful. Great central locating making most Borobudur attractions an easy walk. Woken at 3:30am by 2 cockerels who didn’t stop crowing until dawn and a LOUD call to prayer at 4:30am. Our door did not latch closed; it needed to be pulled shut and locked.

• Philippe (9/5): Recommended place for a short stay visiting the Borobudur. - Very nice and kind staff, we even get our breakfast at 11 am after visiting Borobudur.... Perfect location near the temple. And the swimming pool after the visit in the hot sun .....super. Room a little basic but very clean. Staff at the reception was so nice, but poor English, no possibility to get information about the neigbourhood or the visit of the temple.

Had to move rooms as we had a cockroach in the first room (staff were very helpful). Bathrooms aren’t the best but manageable. There was a drain smell in both bathrooms we were in.

The room is clean and pleasant with a small veranda. The location is away from the main street so nice and quiet through the night. Good budget hotel recommend. The staff could be a little more aware of guests needs and supply information on the local attractions and sites.Also UpTo date knowledge of restaurants and places to visit. Otherwise very friendly with some English spoken.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Cosy place near Borobudur - Very near Borobudur, great if you're doing the sunrise tour. Got tickets for us and picked us up on scooters in the morning. Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is small and cosy, not much privacy and bathroom needs some freshening up, some minor leakage and smells.

• トラヴィス (8/5): - ボロブドゥールの駐車場までは歩いて5分かからないくらいの距離で便利です。 ローカルバスでバスターミナルまで来た方は10分程歩いて民家の立つ細い路地を歩いてホテルまで行くことになります。 民家で遊んでいる地元の子供たちは行きも帰りも屈託のない笑顔でハローとあちらから挨拶してくれて本当に心が洗われます。 ホテルですが、チェックイン時にウェルカムドリンクでフルーツジュースの提供があり、サッパリとした甘さで美味しいです。 プールサイド沿いのダブルベッドの部屋に泊まりましたが、快適です。スリッパ、バスタオル、シャンプー等はありましたが、ドライヤーはなかったように思います。真剣に探してないのであるかもしれませんが。蚊が一匹いましたが、エアコンをガンガンに掛けて弱らせて凌ぎました。 シャワーはトイレと隣り合っていて、仕切りはないので一応数センチの段差で水はトイレ側には流れないようになってますが、立ったまま豪快にシャワー浴びると便座が多少濡れるかもしれません。 チェックイン時オプションでボロブドゥールサンライズツアーを勧められ45万ルピア払って引換証のような紙を貰いました。翌朝朝4時半にホテル内のレストランに集合。私は15分前に集合して引換証をスタッフに渡してチケットを貰いましたが、日本人含め参加された方は皆時間ぴギリギリの集合でした。 ワゴンでマノハラホテルまで送迎してくれますが、あとは何も指示なく放っておかれるので他の参加者はどうしたらいいのか困ってるようでした。私は早々にホテルでシールと懐中電灯を貰って自分でスタスタ観光しに行きました。帰りは懐中電灯を返却して自力でワヒドホテルまで帰ることになります。参加者は6時から7時の間にレストランでコーヒーかティーを無料で頂けます。 ちなみにレストランといっても半屋外でそんなに大きくはありません。食事は朝食は無料ブッフェですが、品数はかなり少ないのであまり期待はしない方がいいです。 夕食はナシゴレン、トムヤムシーフードを食べましたがそれぞれ45,000ルピア、合わせて700円ぐらいでした。
• Rei (10/5): Helpful, and polite staff, close to Borobudur - I stayed here over night to go to Borobudur sunrise at 4:30 am the next day. The staff here were helpful, polite and friendly. They were willing to help you with everything you asked for. Room was spacious and clean. Air con and wifi worked well. Bathroom were clean and in good condition. Food at the restaurant was good and tasty and reasonable price too. Breakfast was good too. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend to my family and friends. Thank you for looking after me so well.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Small hotel, great pool and friendly - Hotel is walking distance to Borobudur temple, close to shops and food and away from the main road so is quiet. Hotel will be able to arrange your Borobudur sunrise tour and send you to the starting point via transport. Once you’re done you may walk back and have breakfast at the hotel. Service is good, food is good, rooms are simple and comfortable. Pool is great.

• Mark (10/5): Great place to stay and explore from - Here to visit Borobudur and the environs. Perfect jumping off point, withing waling distance of the temple. Staff was very helpful in all requirements and then some. For instance they still served us breakfast even though we had gone out early to the temple and come back past official breakfast hours. They were able to arrange for a scooter rental as well even though that is not an offered service. Overall excellent.

The location is a plus. It is within 2 minute distance to the entrance of Candi Borobudur. The pool is fantastic! Will definitely stay there again.
• Anne Kølner (8/5): Amazing pool area and comfortable rooms - We had a very pleasant stay with Wahid hotel. They just opened and we were the first guests and had it all to ourselves. The room was nice and the pool area was amazing. The bathroom and shower was great and the place was beautifully renovated. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a very comfortable stay.
