- Peter (8/5): A nice location to take advantage of Radium Hot Springs. - Close to pools and restaurants. Could have been cleaner. Breakfast was simple.
- dennislQ1100CF (10/5): Really good bang for the buck. We'll be back - Very clean and cozy, friendly and helpful staff. Nice view from the balcony. Very comfy beds.
- sara (8/5): - Easy to get in and out. Had a cute cabin feel. Nice management, very clean.
Great addition of breakfast at screamers, great breakfast Sammy and coffee on my way out. Haha, just the smoke detector that decided to tell me the batteries were low in the middle of the night. The bed was a little springy but pretty cozy. Overall good experience.
- Bethany (10/5): -
- Pooja (9/5): - It was very close to radium hot springs just 5 minutes drive. Breakfast was included and it was also very nice.
- Doug (7/5): -
- Emma (9/5): -
- Aileen (8/5): Comfortable and affortable to stay - Quite None
- nikhil (5/5): - There was no staff available. No one picks their call and no one bothers to return the call.
No one was there to tell where to get the breakfast from. Or where the sauna was. There was no staff available. No one picks their call and no one bothers to return the call.
No one was there to tell where to get the breakfast from. Or where the sauna was.
There was no microwave in the room
- marcelarN8835EK (10/5): Wonderful weekend - We spent the weekend in Radium and stayed at The Gateway Motel. It was an excellent experience. The location is superb. Very clean and everyone was very friendly. Thank you, Erin.
- Unico (9/5): -
- Sabin (10/5): Amazing - So authentic Because I have to leave
- Sightseer533239 (10/5): Great - Clean, good value, great breakfast at nearby cafe, easy in/out
- Fred (8/5): -
- drkendallh (10/5): Home away from home! - Whenever either myself or my wife and I are working in the area and need to stay over Gateway is our first choice. The rooms are always spotless and comfortable. Erin is always very friendly and kind. The breakfast is always something we enjoy. Can’t say enough. I should have left a review a long time ago as we’ve been staying here for many years.
- Kavish Goplani (8/5): Definitely recommended. - Great location, very nice spacious clean room, nice interior. Great views. Complementary breakfast was offered at a nearby restaurant called "Screamers" - which was a lovely place. N/A
- Arnold (10/5): - The owners were great. They took the time to give directions, offer suggestions about the surrounding areas and were just friendly.
- 618stank (10/5): Great Value and clean. - Very clean and friendly owners Erin and Joe, comfy beds. They provide towels for Radium hot springs about 1 km up the road. which was a nice touch. We arrived early they let us check in. I travelled with my small Shih Tzu dog Nuala, and they were very accommodating and there were no issues.
- Benjamin (10/5): - Location and value for money, friendly staff too. Hearing came on in the night and it got hot quick, but it wasn't a big deal in all honesty, just got up and turned it down.
- Shevchuk (7/5): -
- Caprice (10/5): Friendly people, good value for money and great room. - The room was clean and the veiw was lovely, seeing the mountains in the distance. It’s not fancy but provides all you need, including a kitchenette and comfortable bed, plus it’s walkable to the shops and restaurants (we recommend the Ol’Salzberg, a 4 min walk) Definately good value for the money.
- Caprice_in_Alberta (10/5): Spring get away - The room had all we needed and was very clean. It’s nothing fancy but the water was nice and hot, the bed was comfortable and we could control the heat ourselves….and we had a great veiw!
- Carson (8/5): - Breakfast was good. Portion sizes aren’t huge, so if you’re expecting something similar to a continental breakfast, this isn’t it. But the food was good and the diner is a nice way to start the day. We were given contradictory information. The booking.com information was different from the information given on the card in the room which was different from what the staff told us regarding office hours and sauna use.

- Scott (8/5): Most excellent!! - Cleanliness and the friendly staff!! 🤷🏻
- Roving232348 (8/5): Enjoy - Very clean. Like the fact that the TV was Roku, so I could watch Prime Video.
Staff was extremely friendly and very helpful when questions were asked.
- Excursion51764870572 (10/5): Wonderful time ! - Ease at check in, nice clean rooms to make the base of operations for all your exploring needs! Bed was nice and comfortable, own thermostat and a celing fan.
- Gilberna (10/5): Super Pleased - Perfect spot for a base to explore the area. Room was great. Check in was a breeze. Appreciated our stay here and would recommend.
- Rakesh (7/5): -
- Flyer56901933109 (10/5): Great Little Motel - Super motel. Unbelievably clean and friendly staff, comfy beds. They provide a tow for the hot springs which was a nice touch. We arrived early and they happily let us check in. Breakfast is in this cool retro shop just a few minutes walk away. Highly recommend.
- Tatyana (10/5): -
- Kimiaee (8/5): - Good and clean motel in a good location
- geoffchurch (10/5): Best continental breakfast I've ever experienced - A rare treat when a stay goes beyond expectations. Could not ask for more for a 1 night. Had everything and the breakfast in the morning was stellar. I'd love to come back one day.
- karp (8/5): -
- natashafY7029PY (10/5): Wonderful hotel - Great location, service and quality
- Kellington (5/5): - The price. The charger for the car is stupidly priced. And on top of that the front desk guy parked his gas car in the ev spot...
- kayrJ1085EI (10/5): Loved our stay at the Gateway - We loved our stay at the Gateway in Radium! It's conveniently located a short drive from the springs and a short walk to everything in town. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable, clean, and private. Breakfast is at Screamers Ice Cream Cafe down the road. Sounds quirky, and it is, but it's a cute little spot and the breakfast was much appreciated. We didn't get a chance to try the sauna, but have it on our list for next time.
- Helen (8/5): - Location, comfort, cleanliness Motels can be loud
- Savannah (10/5): Quaint, cozy, comfortable. - I lucked out with a top floor room so had the luxury of a beautiful balcony, though both levels are rustic and cute. The Roku instead of cable was a really lovely touch. The amenities, though I used few, are great and I’m sure will get the most use in the summer when Radium gets touristy. For example they have a communal gazebo, fire pit with patio set, and sauna all included in the price of your stay. The continental breakfast was light but I really love that it’s run out of their other business, Screamers (ridiculously cute diner cafe btw). And last but certainly not least, the eco friendly initiatives are really nice to see; multi use toiletries, recyclable or recycled disposables, etc. Did not see any staff due to the time I arrived and left unfortunately but the ladies at Screamers were certainly kind heart💞
- Lourdes (9/5): - Cozy room, nice staff, great toiletries, and delicious breakfast! Beds are small
- Gilles (7/5): Unspectaculer but pleasant and cozy. - Clean, good location, relatively quiet, good breakfast Coffee was very weak, alarm was defective as it beeped in the middle of the night, fortunately was taken care of the next day, Staff not always available to take a call. Not sure if I want to rely on previous guests to ensure dishes have been cleaned.
- John (9/5): -
- Gillian (9/5): Would stay again - Very pleasant staff. Clean room. Accommodating of our pets. Breakfast simple but tasty. There are not many outlets for charging devices however it wasn't a big deal and wouldn't deter us from future stays.
- youngminl921 (10/5): We made wonderful memories here and would happily stay again. - The room was clean and well maintained.
It was conveniently located close to the hot springs and the town.
Most of all, the complimentary breakfast made this trip more special and memorable.
- tanyao772 (10/5): Excellent Stay! - The hotel was incredibly clean, and the owners were so accommodating and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the sauna. The breakfast was delicious, and it was nice to have it off site at Screamers. Highly recommend, and we’ll come again!
- nataliakB8904WC (10/5): Cozy Motel with Beautiful Mountain Views - We stayed at The Gateway Motel in Radium Hot Springs for two nights and were very pleased. The hotel is quiet, clean and very well maintained. The hosts are friendly and attentive, always happy to help. What we especially liked was the delicious breakfast, convenient location near Radium Hot Springs and the sauna on the motel's premises. Also great views of the mountains and deer passing by the motel. We will definitely come back again, thank you.
- Olha (9/5): Great value! Excellent for short stays - It’s pretty clean, great location and we had a nice mountain view from our room.
The breakfast was great! No cutlery.
Electric kettle would be better to have than the coffee/tea maker, it was too small.
The sauna didn’t work when we were there, but maybe we should’ve asked, I’m not sure.
- R1234KFstevem (10/5): Look No Further!! - We were greeted so cheerfully that it felt homey right away. Room was clean and fresh. It was so charming walking up to the outdoor sauna ❤️. The free breakfast at Screamers was second to none!! And they served our beloved OSO Negro coffee!
Also, The Gateway is walking distance to everything.
- Lawrence (9/5): - Breakfast, — very sparse
Room —- clean and comfortable Breakfast choices
- Shawn (10/5): Wanted to spend more time there! - Mattress in the room is pretty beat. A new mattress would have made it a perfect stay
- Isabelle (10/5): -
- Quest45764115100 (10/5): Great service from owner - The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and equipped with useful amenities. Breakfast was served at Screamers Café, a very nice spot with delicious sandwich.
- Olena (9/5): Great stay at this location - I really liked the location — the room was clean and comfortable with great bedding. I actually enjoyed the walk over to the breakfast location. The property also offers a sauna and a fire pit, which looked lovely, even though we didn’t get a chance to use them. The view was beautiful and added to the overall experience. When we checked into the room around 6:00 pm, the thermostat was set to 17°C, so it felt a bit chilly — especially in the bathroom and on the tile floors. We turned the heat up, and it started warming up slowly. It wasn’t too bad, so we just wore warmer clothes and placed a towel on the bathroom floor to keep our feet warm.
Later in the night, the room eventually became quite warm, so we opened the door briefly to let in some fresh air and turned off one of the thermostats, keeping only the one in the bathroom on.
My small suggestion would be to turn the heat on a bit earlier and set it to around 20°C for the night. That way the room can warm up gradually and stay comfortable throughout the evening.
Thank you again — we really enjoyed our stay.
- Ariza (10/5): -
- Sophia (10/5): Had a beautiful stay at the gateway motel. A nice walk to radium hot springs, and the complimentary breakfast was great! - The building is so cute and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were so nice and very welcoming!
- C3082RSjn (10/5): Radium’s most ideal accommodation. - Always clean, quite comfortable and conveniently located. Gracious host & excellent complimentary breakfast. Stayed here for many years and will continue to return
- Norbert (9/5): Welcoming and it includes breakfast!! - Convenient and comfortable. Driveway was too icy and dangerous to walk to the restaurant.
- Paquette (8/5): It was great - Staff are friendly, the view of the mountain, and offer some store treats for their fire pit . Shower water temperature varies if other rooms are using their taps/showers/toilet.
The breakfast was included, but we didn’t get the chance to try it as the restaurant was busy.
- Rose (10/5): -
- Brent (10/5): -
- jlx2018 (10/5): Perfect for convenient and budget-friendly overnight stay - The location is very convenient, really close to the Radium Hot Spring. The room was cozy and very clean. The price was super affordable, and having breakfast included was a great bonus. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone visiting the hot spring who’s looking for a convenient and budget-friendly overnight stay!
- Nadiia (10/5): We truly enjoyed our stay at Getaway Motel in British Columbia. The place has a very cozy, atmospheric feeling — peacefu - One thing we especially appreciated was the heating system: the temperature can be adjusted in three different areas of the room, which made the stay incredibly comfortable and personalized. The room was very clean, well maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. And the view from the window was absolutely stunning — waking up to such scenery was a real highlight of our stay.
- Sangi323 (7/5): -
- Olena (10/5): It was wonderful, everything was clean, very cozy, with a beautiful view, and the staff made sure everything was comfort -
- Miranda Mendigorin (9/5): -
- P5946GVtraceyl (10/5): Cleanest rooms - It was comfortable and extremely clean. Enjoyed the tv programs available. The breakfast at Screamers was a light delicious breakfast.
Owners are very friendly and the highest customer service.
We will be back again.
- Rochelle (10/5): -
- Charlotte (10/5): - I didn't realize there was breakfast included so that was an awesome surprise. Everything was extremely clean. We were just stopping in for a quick 1 night stay and it was everything we need for a great price!
- 906AmberB (10/5): #1 stop to stay in Radium - Came out for a solo visit to the mountains and hot springs. Spent two nights at the Gateway and was very pleased from start to finish. The young man at the front desk was welcoming and courteous, the room was very clean and the bed was excellent. Breakfast at Screamers was neat, I loved the vibe of the place. I wish I'd had more time to try out the sauna! Great value for a weekend trip. I will definitely return!
- Simona (10/5): - Nice, cozy, clean rooms with pet friendly option, location, walking distance to all amenities, easy acces from yhe main road and parking included, breakfast included in local cafeteria and ice cream store was the hit with our kids . It was perfect.
- Adventure39784192254 (10/5): Quaint, cozy. - Lovely little spot! I appreciated being able to crack the window for sleeping as well as the different heating zones!
Bathroom floor was a little chilly though.😊
- Lelly2007 (10/5): Great Stay! - Stayed 2 nights the beginning of October. We are from the UK, in our early 60’s and were on a road trip through the Rockies.
We booked a room with a kitchenette. Although we didn’t cook, it was certainly equipped well enough should we have wanted. The room and bathroom were spotless and well presented. The bed comfortable.
As for location, it was no more than a 5 minute stroll (if that!) into the centre of Radium to access restaurants and bars.
We couldn’t have been happier with our stay and I’m delighted that I discovered the Gateway Motel when planning our trip. It suited us perfectly. I hadn’t realised but the booking included a voucher for breakfast (which we used) and was a nice surprise upon checking in. I would certainly be happy to recommend a stay here to other travellers.
- shylau (10/5): Perfect spot to stay in Radium - My husband and I stayed for the weekend. The staff was very helpful and accommodating when it came to checking in after hours. Excellent customer service. The motel itself is quite dated, but that being said I wouldn't change a thing about it! It has that old school charm! Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Included in our stay was breakfast at Screamers (a quick jaunt down the street) and passes for the hot springs. Definitely great value! Good location within walking distance to various restaurants. I loved everything about our stay and cant wait to go back one day! 5 stars!
- 521adeleo (10/5): Bright and comfortable - The room was bright, clean and cozy. My husband is visually impaired and he was very happy with the bright comfortable room.
- M9249ZRhelenr (10/5): Exceptional motel and the price was so affordable - Stayed here one night on a girls trip last week. Love love love the motel and the easy check in. Beds were comfy. Loved the Rocky Mountain soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Best sleep ever. Breakfast at Screamers cafe was an unexpected delight. Was not expecting a choice and we chose the egg breakfast sandwich. I’m sure the muffin was home made as it sure tasted that way. Delightful 50s cafe theme with a beautiful jukebox!!! So close to Radium hot springs. Will definitely stay here again.
- Johnny (10/5): - Although the room we stayed in was small it was quite comfortable. The barrel sauna out bad was fantastic. It's a bit of a walk to the hot pools but can be done. It's about a 3 minute drive. There is also a fire pit and barbeque beside the hotel. Great little place. I will stay here again.
- A8068VMdianel (10/5): Enjoyed stay - Second time this year going to Radium and staying here. I was happy both times with the hotel and would consider staying here again. Price was reasonable and the breakfast that is available was good as well. The views are amazing
- Tammy (10/5): - parking was great. Room was cozy.
- Gordon (10/5): - Wonderfully renovated older motel.
Spotlessly clean
- 258shaylad (8/5): Luxury "camping" - Loved the atmosphere, welcoming owner, outdoor seating areas, breakfast, flowers. Very clean, lots of pillows. Lovely
- Yahwe (10/5): Wonderful Motel - What a nice little motel. Was clean and an excellent price. Owner was super nice. Breakfast at the Steamers restaurant was great.
Cute fire pits you can sit at night and watch the stars.
I would for sure stay there again.
- JAN (8/5): - Older, rustic, charming property. The owners also run a restaurant nearby - the included breakfast is delicious!
- David k (10/5): - Friendly small town service. I love the personal trust they have in people.ay God bless you folks.
- Brian (10/5): - Excellent place for price.
- Xiangfei (10/5): - Room is clean!
- Josue (2/5): - They're canceled my room at last min when i am already have a plan and rental vehicle
- Richard (10/5): - A older motel that is very well maintained and very clean. Extra amenities include table & chairs outside room, picnic table and outside seating behind with bighorn sheep wandering by, free breakfast in nearby cafe, very nice staff.
- Camper56765916873 (10/5): Clean and Accommodating. - The pictures shown are true. They were very accommodating for our late arrival. The room was clean and suited our needs perfectly.
- Patrick (8/5): - All good
- David (8/5): - Lovely old motel, but very small room and right on the highway. Very clean and very comfortable bed.
- FALJEET (10/5): - Every thing was good except the breakfast, they dont have much options. But over all it was the good.
- Corina (10/5): - This adorable vintage property was so clean & cute! The price was great staff was awesome. Only observation was there were no bedside tables for our belongings and phones which woud have been nice but not a deal breaker. I just poppped the recycling bin upside down for the night to set my clock (aka phone) on.
- Marsha (10/5): - Small quiet friendly motel. It is a motel, so don’t expect the Hilton, but it’s worth the money, comfortable and cute! The sauna was a nice relaxing amenity to use!
- Ahmad (10/5): - The room is very cozy and served our need. We were so happy with the cleanliness of the room and the drive to the location was amazing with all the mountain views.
Would definitely recommend this motel and would go back if we were in the area again.
- Taylor (10/5): - Amazing little motel! Owners are super friendly and accommodating! Covered with beautiful flowers and lots of areas for people to hangout and enjoy the area. Would stay again in a heart beat! Thanks for the great stay Erin and Joe!
- Sarah (10/5): - very nice place to stay, very comfortable, clean and great staff.
