• Joseph (8/5): - Nice place on the inside but hard to find down a narrow street. Google Maps got me there. There’s free parking and an attached restaurant run by hotel manager’s sister. Room was good and it came with a free breakfast. It’s not really within a short walk to anything but services in town are a 2-minute drive. Close to attractions in Monteverde area. If you don't speak Spanish ask for help using the TV. Not much programming in English. Very windy the day i was there. Friendly helpful staff

• Adriana (6/5): Bom, mas precisava melhorar a limpeza. - Reservamos um quarto conforto, que tinha as mobílias e o banheiro aparentemente novos. Tinha o conforto necessário para uma noite de sono, porém tivemos um problema, pois encontramos muitos cabelos no lençol e nos trocaram de quarto. A limpeza do quarto e do banheiro precisa ser melhor tbm, encontramos algumas teias de aranha.
• Juan (8/5): - The host was very personable and took care to provide information of things to do around the surrounding area. However, the road to get to the hotel from Arenal was treacherous as it was mostly uphill, lots of curves and unpaved making it difficult to navigate.

• Omid (10/5): - The breakfast, which was included in the price, was amazing (eggs, toast, butter, jam, juice, and coffee). The facility is new and offers Wi-Fi and parking. The shower had the best water pressure of all the hotels we stayed at during our trip through Costa Rica. Upon arrival, they provide you with a map detailing all the local amenities, including the supermarket and tourist attractions, along with their prices!

• Matthew (10/5): Emmanuel is the perfect host - What made this place memorable is Emmanuel the host! He couldn’t have been a nicer guy or done anything else to make us feel more welcome in his home and country. The room itself and breakfast area were a little run down and we were provided with either a Costa Rican or American breakfast. There wasn’t much hot water in the shower. This is a cheap B&B that is still only 10 mins walk from the square. La Soda Armistad nearby was a good quality and cheap restaurant.

• Yu Ann (8/5): - Emmanuel was super responsive and helpful through out process from reservation to our stay and check-out. He helped us book a few tours, had great recommendations for the area and we felt safe and supported throughout. This space fulfilled our needs for our trip in terms of providing a safe space to rest, but folks should expect that it is incredibly no-frills. Rooms are close to the road so expect some traffic noise. Air in the rooms is also very still as there is no additional ventilation available by way of AC or fans. Temperatures were cool enough that we were able to rest adequately but I'd imagine if it got a bit warmer that it could be rather uncomfortable. Breakfast is provided, simple and hearty. Family restaurant right next door where we also had delicious meals. Decently walkable location to 'town' center with all the food and necessities but be prepared for some inclines/ hills.

Breakfast is cooked fresh for you and absolutely wonderful. Emanuel the owner is a great source of information and a great help when booking anything. Maybe would have liked some softer towels. No food allowed in rooms which is fine, they have a dining area available and allow you to keep things in the fridge. Close to the street. Some motorcycle noise takes time to die down. No frills. Would easily stay their again for the price.
• Fred (10/5): Great place to stay for exploring Monteverde - After reading most of the other reviews, we were confident that this was a good place to stay for our 4 nights in Monteverde and it was great. They really go out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of. They can arrange any excursions you’d be interested in or transports with no up charges or recommend the best local experiences and restaurants if you’re looking for that information. They can accommodate any travel style. Hot shower and room was clean and there’s full access to the kitchen for cooking or the fridge for drinks or leftovers and there’s a nice garden to hang out with chairs and hammocks. It’s walking distance to town but also parking for self drive and it was easy to find on Google maps. Would definitely stay here again!

• Patricia (10/5): A Helpful Host and Family! - We had a very nice time staying at the Casa Jungle Monteverde Bed and Breakfast. We were warmly welcomed and given information and a map of the area. The room was clean and adequate for our needs. Emanuel and his family provided us with hearty breakfasts and we had use of the kitchen to make our own lunches and dinners if desired. When a problem arose that was neither their fault nor ours, Emanuel was quick to address and resolve it to everyone's satisfaction. During our stay he helped us arrange tours and with our transportation for leaving.

Very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. Room was neat and clean and although not overly large was perfect for our stay.

Check-in was quick, Manual was waiting for us when we arrived late. The room and bathroom were clean. The traditional breakfast was a pleasant surprise - a rich meal including fruit, juice, coffee, a plate with eggs, rice, and cheese. We did not need lunch.
