• Marco (9/5): Alla scoperta di San Ignacio - Staff molto presente e gentile. Abbiamo apprezzato la calma dellla struttura e la disposizione delle capanne immerse nel verde. Per la colazione lo staff è stato rapido e puntuale. Disponibilità di amplio parcheggio gratuito. Nulla in particolare, si potrebbero magari rinnovare i bagni per ottenere la valutazione massima.
• Asha (7/5): Wasn’t a log cabin for us - Big rooms and nice property. Food was also good and lots of variety. Pool was nice but Nice pool but lots of kids- they allow outsiders to use the pool. They seem to have run out towels frequently and we didn’t get fresh ones. Also it’s seasonable anyway but mosquitoes are there! I wish we got to stay in an actual log cabin but it didn’t give that feel.

If you enjoy feeling like you’re in the midst of nature here is a great place to stay and if you’re driving everything is a short ride away. The staff is also super helpful and kind! The cabins are conveniently located on the outskirts of town where it is quiet but close enough to easily access restaurants and the market in San Ignacio. The staff were friendly and the food was good and well priced. Our boys also loved the dogs and cats who were so friendly!

The property is a bit further out of the town so you’ll have to get a taxi but we preferred this. It was super clean and had a pool if you needed a chill day. We also found out that any of the stray dogs that came to the property were treated with love and fed which I just loved! Especially as well we fell in love with Peaches! Would 100% come back!!

• rustymambo (4/5): Fine for a budget choice, but not much atmosphere - I was a bit disappointed by these accommodations. I've stayed in cabin-type places in other places around the world, the point generally being a rustic vibe surrounded by jungle, rainforest, etc. environment. Here, they were really just cabins sort with with trees around them but no real wildlife focus. The interior of the cabins did have a plank wood floor, but the walls were just wood paneling and no decor to celebrate the environment. Overall it had a run down feel rather than a rustic feel. On the plus side, it was clean. Meals were good, I will give them points for that, and staff was extremely friendly, especially one maintenance guy who greeted me every day with the biggest smile. The room included shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a bar of soap, hair dryer, mini fridge, and iron. A bottle of water was provided daily. There was a tv in the room, but with limited channels. There was Netflix which you could log in to with your own account. There was no in-room safe. The ceiling-mounted smoke alarm had been removed, creating a safety hazard. The door lock was just a thumb lock, and while I don't think that there's much of a concern for theft there, if you aren't going to have an in-room safe a deadbolt should at least be installed. Bedding was comfortable, towels were thin. Separate towels were available for pool use, though I didn't use to the pool because it wasn't that warm out. I would personally opt for another accommodation were I to return to San Ignacio, however if your budget is such that your options are limited, this isn't the worst choice and you will have a safe, clean place to sleep.

We hired three different cabins, all for the same price. Each one had things lacking. Ie one had no chairs. Another had no microwave or hairdryer. Another had no coffee machine. Also, there should be mosquito screens on all the doors.

Sie sind nicht schuld, dass der Laden vom Management an die Wand gefahren wird. - Vollkommen baufällig: Vom Duschgriff bis zum Liegestuhl fällt praktisch alles auseinander, wenn man es anfasst. - Völlig verdreckt: Poolwasser milchig weiß, sodass man nicht mal den Boden erkennt. Es hängen dauerhaft ominöse Schläuche ins Becken, die möglicherweise der Reinigung dienen sollen, das aber wenig effektiv - Bei Bestellungen an der Bar besser 3 oder 4 Alternativen überlegen, weil das meiste nicht vorrätig ist - Der hauseigene Wäscheservice hat es geschafft, sämtliche T-Shirt zu zerstören. Das Personal entschuldigte sich zwar höflich und bat eine Entschädigungszahlung an, die wir aber natürlich nie erhalten haben. - Die Bungalows sind prinzipiell clever gebaut, um die umfangreiche Tierwelt der naturnahen Lage fernzuhalten. Da aber überall Löcher in den verwahrlosten Wänden entstanden sind, schafft es trotzdem jedes Insekt herein. Da es keine Mückennetze o. ä. gibt, spaziert also schnell die ein oder andere Kakerlake in allen Größenvarianten ins Bett

• KJGbz (10/5): A Gem just outside of San Ignacio: A Review of Log Cab Inn - As a tourism practitioner, one develops an appreciation for businesses that do well. After many travels to many hospitality places, finding a hotel that has character and genuine care for its guests feels like a win. Sitting right outside of the charming twin towns of San Ignacio/Santa Elena, Log Cab Inn is one of those gems. To get started, I must state that this is not your budget hotel, and that's a good thing. The price point, for both the hotel and the onsite restaurant, is in the mid-range. If you’re looking for cheap, you’ll find it elsewhere in Cayo; for which there are a few. Here, you will get value for money. The onsite grounds are beautiful and you are going to be one with nature; there's no lots of cement here. You will be surrounded with beautiful greenry with plants and trees; you may even see some wildlife scouting about. Being in this environment will allow you to forget that San Ignacio is just around the corner. As an assessor for sustainable tourism practices, I find this commendable. The rooms are very rustic with nice comfortable beds and they also have a small fridge for your snacks and drinks; something that is handy for a nice relaxation moment on the patio. The pool is three-tiered which is perfect for couples and family, swimmers and non-swimmers. Of importance is the approach to food and bev; and the caring staff. The in-house restaurant, Lorito's, is a secret gem. I had breakfast, lunch, and dinner there, and each meal was exceptional—good portions, bold flavours, and a dedication coming from the kitchen. At times you will have a bit of wait time; but as you have seen elsewhere, sometimes freshly cooked food has a little wait time. But the real gem of Log Cab Inn is its staff. For a private birthday event I was hosting, our server, Shawn, gave us exceptional service. He wasn't just attentive; he was proactive, helping with decorations for a little party and checking in very frequently. This is the kind of exceptional attention to detail that makes a memorable stay, and it's exactly what I look for as a traveler. So, if you're looking for a nice relaxing escape to Cayo, Log Cab Inn is a nice hub; or if you are looking to host a small event, this is a good choice. I have used the small conference facility as well and it's very accommodating. Consider Log Cab Inn for your next Cayo visit.

• Michelle (8/5): Lovely place to spend a couple of days enjoying what San Ignacio has to offer - Staff were so friendly and helpful. Great food and pool area. Lovely laid back vibe, friendly dog who would happily follow you around. A/C was great in our room. It's worth going to the local Mayn ruins, very quiet and impressive if you aren't going to another site in Belize. Cave tubing was great too. Only possible issue is that its a little out of town however it is easy to flag down a local 'taxi', good to be able to chat to the local driver who are always interesting and knowledgeable.
• Kojo (10/5): Great Stay - Did a day trip and thsi place exceeded my expectations, reminded me of an area in Gahan called Aburi located in the mountains of Accra cool and serene, The cabin eas extremely comfortable. Fantastic wifi, good on location restarant that had good food. Though i spent just a night ths place exceeded my expectations. NA

• Silvana (7/5): Vriendelijk personeel op vreemde locatie - Het vriendelijke personeel maakt het verschil! Het hotel zelf is verouderd en ligt best uit het stadje. We kregen eerst de kamers die naast de elektriciteitscentrale lagen met uitzicht op de weg. Gelukkig konden we van kamer wisselen, daar was het personeel heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam in. Het zwembad is heel ruim en schoon. Kamers zijn schoon en er is een smart tv en kleine koelkast. Locatie is wat veraf. Tuin om cabins is niet aangelegd. Terrasmeubilair is niet aanwezig.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Rustic and cute cabins - The grounds and service were fantastic. I think the cabin we stayed in was newly built and the windows weren't sealed so bugs got in the room every night and the toilet paper holder fell off the wall but you are basically in the jungle so it wasn't too big of a deal. The food was great and the pool was amazing

• Justyn (8/5): - It was a good value. The property was beautiful and it had a convenient, easy to drive to location. We loved the pups that greeted us! They really need new mattresses! If they changed that - plus added more shelves in the bathroom to set items, they could be more competitive with other hotels.

• Lisa (8/5): Bien pour une nuit ou deux! - Nous avons aimé l'emplacement pas loin du centre ville en voiture, vaste terrain, bungalow bien espacés des uns et des autres, le restaurant de l'hôtel très pratique. Staff et (yoni) trés sympatique Piscine agréable. Le jour où nous sommes venus suite à du mauvais temps là wifi ne fonctionnais pas dans notre bungalow mais uniquement au bar restaurant de l'hôtel, dans la chambre les sacs poubelles des toilettes n'ont pas été vidés, pas de séchoir pour étendre les serviettes, les rideaux n'étaient pas occultant...
