• Andrew (9/5): Convenient, comfortable and spacious accommodation on a quiet and secure property. - Spacious, comfortable room with everything you could need. Quite location. Debbie as host was very attentive and caring. She assisted with an aircon issue. Garden lighting for the pathways to rooms could be improved. Breakfast arrangement for guests over the weekend is off site at a coffee shop. We were aware of this arrangement upfront and at time of booking.

• Andrew (9/5): Overall a great stay... can 100% recommend. - This is a really great gem overlooking a vineyard and town, with a great view of the Du Toitskloof Mountains. My bed was clean and comfortable, the shower was great, and the room was a comfortable place to spend some downtime. Would absolutely stay again. Not much to say in terms of what could be improved, other than some lighting on the driveway going toward the rooms would be good – things are pretty dark at night.

Frühstück wird vorher ausgewählt, Qualität der Lebensmittel ist sehr gut. Mitarbeiter sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sehr schöner Blick von der Terrasse.

• Stefanie (10/5): Tolles kleines Gasthaus überhalb von Paarl - Ein tolles ruhiges kleines Gasthaus. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Debbie begrüßt. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit hervorragend. Der Pool bietet eine sehr gute Abkühlung. Das Frühstück haben wir am Wochenende im Café Franchie (Rembrandt Mall) eingenommen. Man erhält Vouchers in Höhe von 150ZAR. Dadurch, dass der benachbarte Kindergarten geschlossen war, war es sehr ruhig. Das mag auch sonst etwas anders sein. Nichts

• Mats (10/5): A gem in Paarl. - What a lovely place. Our room was big, beautifully decorated and with a really comfortable bed. A capsule coffee machine with enough capsules, water in the fridge, wine bottles to buy. A lovely view over the vineyard and the mountains. Debbie took well care of us, we have no complaints what so ever. You were served either a continental breakfast or a full English, which you had to decide the day before.

The view was lovely and I could have a decent walk around the property. Enough coffee/tea/milk and sugar (even had sachets of honey and de-caf coffee) Towells are fluffy and big, bathroom was also very spacious. Dont adjust the price for single occupation - paid the price for two people. The breakfast box was there when I arrived just after lunch time, whilst it was fresh, I feel it should have been delivered/made in the morning.

The views over the vineyards and Paarl mountains are breathtaking, giving a sense of peace that lingers long after you leave. The staff strike the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth, making you feel genuinely welcome without being intrusive. The only point for improvement is that the mattress and cushions are due for replacement, as they don’t match the otherwise high standard of the property.

There is no breakfast served at the property over weekends and you have to go to the most low end little mall in not so great part of Paarl for the breakfast they include. I would therefore choose a room only rate and rather go for breakfast elsewhere if I were to ever return.

From the moment we arrived, Debbie was welcoming and attentive, ensuring that check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay, including a cozy bed, a spacious bathroom and a coffee machine. I especially appreciated the extra touches, such as the chocolates, wifi and the pre-packed breakfast due to us checking out early. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back!

The extras like a nespresso machine or the super good smelling products by Earth for your bath or shower. I love seeing that rooms are maintained with loving care from one year to the next. The weekend breakfast formula at Frenchies is fabulous too. We had a noisy fridge so switched it off for the night

The bed was extremely comfy and big, the rooms are spacious and are airconned, and the water pressure was perfect in the showers. Ticked all the right boxes for a fantastic weekend accommodation. Would suggest the toilet glass panel gets a mural or design, to make a bit more closed off if bathroom is shared, and also reduces risk of walking into panel when going to toilet during night, if forgotten it was there.
• Thapelo (10/5): I must return, and soon: amazing stay in a special corner of Paarl town - The grounds of the hotel are incredibly beautiful and overlook the valley below… it was as beautiful in the evening before sunset as it was at sunrise. I checked in late, and the staff were so warm and welcoming… they accommodated my late check-in. The bed was comfortable, clean and cosy, the bathroom impeccably done. Breakfast on site was delicious… I cannot wait to return. Thank you for everything to everyone who helped me make my stay amazing Nothing not to like
