Everyone everywhere I went said hello and even knew my name. Made me feel very welcome. Also they couldn't have been more helpful. Food in the restaurant could have been better but the staff/servers were so good that I came back more than once for dinner even if the food could've used some work. They had a cream of asparagus soup the first night I was there that was out of this world good! But they never had it again. :(

- Katerina (9/5): More than decent for a short stay. - Seaview. Comfortable room. Lots of light controls etc in the room. Window facing desk that was great for work. Bathroom a bit small and cramped for a room that size, and there wasn’t really anywhere to walk to from this hotel. Breakfast had a seemingly huge variety but most of it didn’t look good or appropriate for breakfast, so we were limited for options.

Hopelijk is dit een volgend keer wat verbeterd. Kolintang muziek is mooi en typisch Manado. Maar elke ochtend hetzelfde nummer gaat wat vervelen. Afwisseling met andere nummers is denk ik voor zowel gasten als personeel wat gezelliger.

The front desk service was exceptionally good. The sea view room was amazing. Any issues where immediatly picked up and either fixed, temporarily fixed or not fixed. The bed was big enough for 6.3ft but the shower wasn't. The smoking room had wear and tear. It also had a sewage smell in the bathroom. The door lock didn't work properly and the shower head holder was loose and as a result when turning on the shower, the it would spray into the bathroom.

Dopo aver chiesto una pulizia accurata, per un paio di giorni la situazione è migliorata, ma poi è tornata come prima. Bagno scomodo. Corridoi e aree comuni nelle stesse condizioni con piatti di pasti consumati che rimanevano fuori dalla porta per ore e ore. Colazione forse adeguata per gli asiatici ma da un Best Western mi sarei aspettata qualcosa di meglio anche per gli altri. Sconsigliato.

The breakfast spread was one of the best I have seen in a hotel anywhere with both Western and Indonesian foods. Major problem. The app started that there was beach access, beach activities and an outdoor pool. The beach access was absolutely false. There is no beach. There is a waterfront, which is nice, but it most certainly is not a beach. There is a night market along the warerfront which, again, is nice enough, but it isn't beach activities. As for the outdoor pool, it is misleading. It is on the third floor. While it does have access to the open air, it is covered by the roof of the floor above it. I brought this up with the staff my second night there. However, there was never any response from management. So, while the property was nice and recommended if you are there on business or other non-beach activities, the page on the app was very misleading and led to a less than optimal experience.

- Michael (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Lagoon Hotel. The check-in was easy. I asked for a room on a high floor and I got it. I thought the staff at the hotel was attentive. There are two downsides to the hotel. There are only two elevators for a 12-story hotel. The elevators are slow. There are no clear signs pointing to the stairs. The other thing lacking is good lighting in the rooms. The room is dim. The bathroom mirror lighting is dim and very hard to get a good shave. Yes, I would stay at this hotel again. The views from the room are worth it.

Darüber wurden wir komfortabel über Whats App informiert, was ein toller Service war. Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel. Die Bar in der 3. Etage in der Nähe des Pools ist dauerhaft geschlossen, was sehr schade ist. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

- Felipe (4/5): Nice views, good facilities, but I didn't sleep well. - The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food, including fresh fruit and both Indonesian and Western options. The pool provided a beautiful view, and the gym was spacious. On the ground floor, there is a charming café, and between the hotel and the shore, several “food truck”-style cafés can be found. We were staying on a high floor, and there was very loud music coming from outside until late at night. Early in the morning, we began hearing loud music from the hotel corridor, which was supposed to be ambient music. We had never slept so poorly in Indonesia. To be fair, we immediately asked if it would be possible to either lower the volume or turn off the ambient music in the early hours, and the staff complied, which we appreciated. Although we were scheduled to stay another night at the hotel, we chose to sleep elsewhere.

Schoonmaak badkamer, wc-bril was absoluut niet schoon, bruine vlekken erop en aan zijkant van wc-bril. Zelf met nat toiletpapier aan de slag gegaan, hierop zag je dat deze niet hygiënisch wordt schoongemaakt. Zwembad is klein, bar bij zwembad niet open. Personeel is top, doen hun uiterste best.

- Shirley (8/5): Heerlijk kunnen genieten van de zee en uitzicht 😃 - Top locatie. Er is veel te doen rondom het hotel. Personeel is vriendelijk. De bad kamer is op sommige plekken niet schoon. Terwijl de kamer wel elke dag wordt schoongemaakt. Als je later gaat ontbijten wordt het buffet ook niet meer aangevuld. Water van het zwembad was ook een dag erg slecht. Als je gaat zwemmen kon je niets zien in het water 😕

Breakfast pretty ordinary, no fresh juice was biggest let down. Room ok beautiful view however hot water issues mini bar fridge issues which were kind of rectified, house keeping not real good 5 night stay and all they did was make beds sweep and change towels oh and the 2 day old food tray across from our room required me to complain to reception. Laundry so expensive! Pool opening hours 6-6 seemed a bit crappy 3rd level bar not being operational was a let down. Staff were helpful if you could find them. One last thing no signage or help to guide you to reception on late check-in just a grumpy security in the apartment complex.

The breakfast buffet is wide and varied. It’s in an awesome location right on the water. There are little coffee vans right on the water in front to relax and watch the sunset. They have a great pool with an amazing view. And their gym has everything you could need to stay in shape. When in Manado, this is my go to hotel.

Het zwembad had volgens de plaatjes een mooie uitstraling maar was heel rommelig met 1 ligbedje. Heel minimaal. Uitzicht op de kop kamer was wel top. Rommelige kamers met veel schade aan muren en meer. Gangen waren niet schoon. Het hotel gaf geen comfort, zwembad uitvoering met mogelijkheden tot relaxen was niet mogelijk.

- Irwan (5/5): Hotel Best Western pero no the Best - La ubicación bonito al frente al mar. Me gusta el panorámico. Inicialmente me dieron hab 1120, pero había Internet y toalla pequeña en la habitación. Al final me cambiaron la habitación dos piso mas abajo que tenga acceso de Internet donde puedo trabajar. Excelente siguiente problema es no había agua caliente y tengo que bañarme con agua fría. El televisión tampoco tiene programa. Parece que no cambiaron la sabana y cubre cama porque huele aceite eucaliptos. Hotel cuenta con dos ascensores y debería tener la tercera especial para los trabajadores y servicios para que no se unen con los huéspedes. Las puertas de ascensores suena cuando se abre y se cierre. Debe tener mantenimiento. Solicite late check out hasta a las 15:00 horas porque mi vuelo regresa a Yakarta a las 17:00 pero no me dieron con razón el hotel esta llena. Pero al final me llamó de CS me aceptaron mi solicitud de late check out porque cuando tomé mi desayuno, me acercó una Srta de CS me preguntó como mi estadía durante el hotel y presente mi queja sobre no había Internet y agua caliente.
