Rene (10/5): It’s an excellent hotel and new. Conveniently located. The daily room service changed daily which was great, it’s a quie - The convenience and location. Is close and near to our venue, shops, restaurant and beaches. It’s not pay when you get to the property. You have to Place a credit card information first then you get a reservation. Second I booked for two nites, however I had to leave the second nite due to personal reasons. The front desk explained when we checked in that because I booked through a third party I would be charged for The second nite. So, I was forced to miss a religious function back home. You can’t really cancel once the reservation is made. The breakfast that was complimentary wasn’t as great. The sausages were dry and not much selections.

We highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for an escape to the West Coast of Florida for a relaxing trip. We want to thank you for another wonderful experience. Also, the breakfast was nice, a variety of toppings, fruit, proteins and dairies, super friendly for the whole family. The rooms were nicely cleaned and organized, no bad smell. The staff was SUPER friendly, the girl who checked us in was excellent! She made check in super easy for us. The towels by the pool were constantly restocked so we never had an issue with towels for our littles. We enjoyed the bonfire at night as well, the little river by the pool and bonfire area was so peaceful. No loud people, noises, everything was wonderful! Will definitely be staying here again :)

I looked forward to the breakfast and was very disappointed: except for the oatmeal nothing was fresh. Not even eggs. For a $300/night hotel that includes breakfast, I expect top quality in regard to food served. All plates cup and silverware were plastic/paper. That was irritating too considering the price of the room.

cdV9326EW (2/5): Bed Bugs/Terrible Customer service - Bed bugs. We recently stayed there for 3 nights and had a terrible experience with bed bugs. It happened on the third and final night of our stay when my wife woke up in the middle of the night and could feel bugs on her. She had probably 30 bites on her legs. Upon reaching out to Marriott they offered to comp the one night it happened, and then proceeded to tell us that they tested and there were no bed bugs. They explained it was probably some bugs local to the area that she got while by the pool. We were never at the pool or around water at any point. It was happening while she was laying in the bed. Deflect, deflect, deflect. I have been a Bonvoy member for several years, and only stay at Marriott hotels for work and personal travel. The bug bites, the way it was handled, is forcing me to leave Bonvoy completely. Painful experience for my wife, and horrible customer service from Bonvoy and the Towneplace Suites.

During this visit we asked for room change because of inability of guests to walk around the bed when the sofa bed was down. We were declined even though there were rooms shown as available at this location on the Expedia and Hotels site. We were told their system said “no rooms available” due to being in season. We made a reasonable request and would have been willing to pay any additional costs. Systems aside, my disappointment was more with lack of hospitality demonstrated by the team to their guests for this matter and the lack of hot water on day one. On both matters, we spoke with the front desk team and a manager and experienced a lack of care or concern as their guests and more for the concern for their profit and loss.

Upon arrival I was given a room that smelled like a jug of bleach. The smell was so strong that both my wife and myself began to get headaches. I have never been in a hotel room that had that bad of a smell. I’m a life time Platinum Marriott member and have always stayed at Marriott brand hotels for over 30 years. This is my first bad experience with this brand in over 30 years. In addition I was given a handicap room which was not what I had reserved. After complaining about the bleach smell I was told that no other rooms were available. The worst Marriott I have ever experienced.
travsav110 (2/5): Smokers from hell - This is supposed to be a non-smoking property. We are staying in room 220 and there has been someone smoking in a room around or under us all day and night. We had to sleep with the sliding glass door open in order to breathe. We have been displaced by hurricane Helene and have nowhere else to go. There are no other rooms available and the hotel has done nothing about this except for give us a sanitizing chemical spray to spray over the smoke smell, which is just about as bad. Additionally, their power has been fluctuating all night long going from regular power to generator. If you have other options, pick another hotel because it’s nice as this place is the smoke and the lack of steady power has made it a miserable stay.

bryan (8/5): - The cleaning staff set up Outside my bedroom for hours, actually had to leave the hotel as it caused me to not be able to sleep. Will not stay here again.
