Albert_IFA (6/5): Good budget hotel - Was there in July 2023 Plus for: Location near busses and about 30 minutes walking to old city. Staff are nice and helpful. Minus for: The rooms are bad, sound isolated, and need to be upgraded, and a renovation of the rooms will make the hotel much better.
Sabji07 (10/5): Pleasant - I don't usually write reviews, but I did want to write about L Plaza as the previous reviews are not exactly encouraging. Although it's approximately half an hour walk from the sites, it was worth it. I enjoy walking around, but the metro and the bus stations are close by for those not interested/able to walk. The staff were friendly and the hotel was impeccably clean. I received fresh toiletries everyday. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday, but I was okay as the quality was fine (fresh milk and salad, good oil used to fry eggs and nuggets). The internet was good and despite previous reviews, the elevator was in perfect working condition. And oh, I was on the 10th floor, the view from my room was beautiful! But Tbilisi is quite scenic so .. All in all, my stay was quite pleasant.
hamedvahedi (10/5): Clean, cozy, friendly - The hotel has about 40 rooms. The rooms are clean. The air condition system can stay on all the time. Of course, our second room was not like this. The location is suitable. There is easy access to grocery stores and markets. There is a 5-minute walk to the subway. The behavior of the staff is friendly. Cleanliness and silence are bold.

chefchandan91 (2/5): Holiday tour for 5 days 4 nights - First of all behavior of hotel staff are really not professional.Breakfast buffet was really terrible.They didn’t provide even water bottles to room everyday..Location wise not that much perfect view from room and hotel.Hotel Room was ok.
meronash (2/5): Very poor stay - Hotel was miserable and completely disappointing for 4 stars hotel.. food was very bad in taste and in diversity.. rooms were not clean at all and there were many insects inside the room.. there were problem in water circulation inside the bathroom between noise in the walls, shower can't be hanged you have to hold it during the shower, there were problem inside the toilet, water were not steady ... Internet quality was very bad and it keeps disconnecting..only one elevator for 10 floors and each floor contains 5 rooms so you have to wait for too long to get up and down especially of you are in high floor..the only positive thing was the location it was near metro station isani with two supermarkets beside and the toilets have (shataf).
sofyat401 (4/5): L plaza - I am disappointed. I did not wait such a bad food, meals. We eat the same already 3 days. Generally the hotel is clean, every day workers clean our room. But the breakfast is stress for us every morning.
agnesm923 (10/5): Clean and cozy place to stay - I would say I was definitely happy for my 5 nights stay at the hotel. The place was neat and clean, and also very close to the metro station. The hotelier named George was very accommodating and helpful.
36minas (2/5): Bad Hotel - the internet is soooo slow and keep disconnect. The AC is not working , the room is so hot and even when you complain about it they say all the rooms are the same. The reception are not supportive or helpful at all. stuff has very poor english , cant communicate with them easily.
837waynep (8/5): Nice Stay - Read a lot of negative things about this hotel and have to say we had a great stay. Rooms were clean breakfast although the same daily had lots of variety, hot, cold food fruit and pastries galore, even Georgian Chacha alcohol. There is a nice little cafe attached to the side of the hotel and plenty of supermarkets and wine shops close by. The only downside were the walls are quiet thin and you can hear traffic noise from the road outside. It’s a bit out of the main town approximately 2 km but taxis easy to get.
SPPatelIndia (4/5): Elevator is the biggest problem - To Start with positives... the room was very spacious. View from our room was nice Negatives: AC wasnt working on Day 1. Day 2 water was dripping from the AC duct Elevator is the biggest problem. With only one ELEVTOR for a 10 storey building and multiple rooms, it would take a lot time to come and sometimes so full that you need to wait for next 20 -25 min. Climbing up stairs upto 8th floor is not feasble Breakfast is same everyday. Boring Refill for breakfast is slow No kitchen after 10pm till morning 8 am :( No staff to help to take luggage
awaisnumanx (6/5): Need improvement - I stayed here for two nights. Before going there i heard about the faulted elevators and that was right. They have only one elevator which most of the time not working. There breakfast is just OK. they dont have proper restraunt. I stayed on 9th floor but due to elevator, i suffered. I was out of the room most of the time but when i wanted to relax at night, the people next door were really loud that i couldn't sleep. The reception guy with glasses is professional and respectful. Hotel is 10 mins walk away from metro. P.S very satisfactory stay.
cloudypola (6/5): Expect what to expect - Before coming here I already read some reviews..negative reviews so I didn't expect for more. I just look for something to enjoy our stay but still I find "some" that I can't avoid to rant as I'm a hotelier. Positive: I love there floor to ceiling windows A room attendant who always does a room cleaning,overall the hotel is clean. Staff at the breakfast is so nice, loved their smiles Negative: Breakfast is 101% the same for 24/7 Bathroom is too small Curtains must be changed Expired beers inside the minibar TV Channels is sooo poor! No International or english channels.
INDIAN1986 (2/5): It’s not a star hotel - Please don’t categorize this hotel as a 4 star. Reception service terrible. No room service. Break fast disaster . Only the guy who work as a receptionist on 28 night shift , he was helpful with smiley face .
351dalpats (2/5): Lplaza Hotel stay 20-23 aug - Worst ever hotel we stayed, so called 4star but not deserve even 2Star..main problem Only one Lift that took very slow guest has to wait very ling. Breakfast is below average and repeated same everyday.. All Rooms are having design issues with interior, bathroom fitting and drainage.. Response time is too late by hotel staff to resolve any issue.. Not recommend..
davidw68 (2/5): Disappointing - Having booked and paid for a large triple room, the room allocated to us was merely a double room with another single bed added. We were told the hotel was fully booked so no change was possible initially. However, after 3 days, we were moved to a larger, genuinely triple room which was much better. This had issues too, however. The shower leaked all over the floor and maintenance staff seemed absent without leave. After another two days, we were eventually moved to a “premier” room with a balcony. This was better although it was still a little untidy - cables hanging from ceiling, ill fitting curtains, broken shower etc. One member of staff (perhaps deputy manager) was really excellent but most others were off hand and useless. Breakfast was disappointing. Same food every day and often no available tables. On one occasion, when it was busy, I tried to take two mugs of coffee to our room but was stopped by the grumpy staff there who said it was not permitted. Returning to the room topic, there was a kettle in the room but no tea or coffee and we were apparently not allowed to take drinks and food to the rooms? We ignored this “rule” and bought tea, coffee, milk and sugar for the room in a local supermarket and ate a later breakfast elsewhere on most days. The advertised free WiFi was extremely limited and only worked well in our final room (the “premier” one). Follow up research suggested that this room was more than double the price of the triple room we initially booked. One small elevator serviced the entire hotel including housekeeping staff so inevitably there were often long delays for the lift or a required walk to or from the 8th floor. We opted for the laundry service on one occasion and that too was rather poor. Clothes were certainly clean and dry but poorly pressed despite the rather high cost of the service (£1.50 per item). The hotel claims to be a 3* hotel but this is certainly not the case in my opinion. The location is good being only a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride from the old town and if you want a budget hotel at slightly more than budget prices then this is your place.

MudassirHR (2/5): Not an ideal place to spend a good holiday - Not all staff at the reception are very responsive. They book a deluxe room with balcony and provide a make shift room. Very bad service. AC not working properly. After complain they provide a better room. Still not the deluxe room with balcony. Breakfast menu is same everyday!
Mo-Ossman (4/5): Poor Management, Below average hotel - We stayed 3 nights and honestly, it’s wasn’t a good experience. There was no intercom in the room, so I personally had to go at the reception for each request. I complained about it and they failed to provide any solution. The staff at desk was somewhat helpful but nothing exceptional. For our entire stay, the complimentary breakfast didn’t change a single thing. It was boring and with limited option. I have had better breakfast in less expensive facilities than this hotel. They somehow thought it’s good idea to serve salad bar in breakfast. The room was small, and washrooms was tiny. TV worked but there was nothing to watch. Most of the channels played some advertisement and the rest were non-English channels. House-keeping didn’t show for 3 days even upon request. The day we moved in the room, nothing was provided we even had to request for basic toiletries. Apart from all this, the walls are paper thin. We were able to hear conversations of other rooms quite clearly. They only way to stop that was to play some music on the phone. It’s shocking to me how this hotel has gotten the given rating. I wouldn’t give it more than 2 stars. One for its relatively convenient location and other for general area cleanliness.
NarayanKarnire (4/5): Not at all 3 star - Myself & my wife stayed there 5 nights. Same breakfast all the days no change at all. Inside the room electric kettle not working. TV not working. Reception staff are okay, but rest of the service staff don't smile at all, perhaps maybe not able to speak English. Will not recommend any of my friends. Since no restaurant in the Hotel, for dinner you have to spend additionally for taxi to & fro. Good thing is that they allow to bring-in outside food to the rooms.
Aviaki (6/5): Good Hotel but badly maintained - The rooms and the view are ok any side, inside the toilet the hand held bidet couldn't be kept on the holder and will be lying around on the ground or is put into the WC itself. Toilets very congested. Paneling were peeling even though the rooms looked pretty new. Bed and upholstery were clean and they replenished the toiletries fairly. lobby and hallway ambiance sober. Buffet Breakfast good, don't expect any smiles from the staff. TV and the Telephone was not working at all.
Anne (8/5): Modern hotel - After booking this hotel, I was concerned my negative reviews but shouldn't have worried. The hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. The staff members have varying levels of English but were polite and helpful. The sixth floor room was spacious and had everything needed really. The WiFi worked extremely well. There's a metro station (Isani) about five minutes' walk from the hotel, which is handy as the taxi drivers can be reckless and don't seem to know where anywhere is. Problem free four-night stay and would happily return.

Shirin (4/5): Not happy with our experience! - I booked this hotel on Expedia only by looking at the photos and the price. Unfortunately many things were not right: 1- WiFi broken! It doesn't work on level 6 in the building where we were! Only works in level 1, reception area! 2- Staff are too relaxed towards complaints! 3- Asked for room service in the morning, got it at 5PM! 4- Breakfast area: damp, inconsiderate staff, smoking staff! 5- Overcharging: 15 GEL for 1 teapot serving 3 tiny cups! (your best meal at a restaurant costs 30-40 GEL - even the stuff in their minibar was cheaper! ) 6- Bedsheets too small for the size of the beds! 7- Weak bathroom accessories 7- I chose to pay by cash at the hotel, they charged me online regardless!
Shirin (2/5): Complacent hotel - There were so many thing wrong with our experience with L Plaza Hotel! 1- Wifi on our floor was disconnected for 1 dat, and for the rest of 2 days it barely could work! It only loaded plain texts! You figure it out how slow it was. We had to stay in lobby (at the reception) if we needed good WiFi! 2- No propper toiletries and accessories in the bathroom. 3- the shower leeked water beneath it. 4- the bed sheets were so small for the size of mattress that all the time they got crunched in the cornenr of the bed beneath us! 5- the breakfast area was damp and one staff was smoking! 6- when asked for room service they only did it after 4,5 hours! 7- very ignorant staff except for the reception staff, who only were nice but did nothing when complaining. 8- On our last hours of stay at the hotel we ordered a pot of tea that only served 3 small cups (with one tea bag) worth of 15 GEL!!! We paid and went out but couldn't beloeve how expensive it was! Didn't make sense comparing the price of everything in Georgia! So I went in and complained to reception, and said that we are nit silly not to realize this rip off! He called the manager and then said there was a mistake and finally gave the money back in compensation. The point is: if we were shy and didn't complain, we would be considered as "stupid tourists" probably! Overall, I strongly recommend to stay away from this hotel if you can find another hotel with the same price. Because it wasn't worth the price at all!
