- Sara (10/5): - Very nice hotel and helpful staff will definitely stay again! Busses to theme parks are awesome!
- Henderson (10/5): -
- Janet (9/5): - Tech savvy & really clean. As older adults we also appreciated quieter atmosphere & smaller no of guests N/A liked it all
- Dominique (7/5): It was fine - Close to sapphire falls and you could take the boat to universal and miss the grounded buses and security mayhem No shops close by if you did not have a car
Alles tipptopp. Personal war sehr freundlich

- Kenneth (2/5): It’s a nice facility. I will not be a returning customer though. The beds suck. You get a hotel at this value and expect - The property is clean 8/10 for cleanliness -1/10 for comfortable sleeping IMO. The beds suck. You get a hotel at this value and expect a comfortable nights sleep, but you will not get it unless you like sleeping on a hard plywood type of surface.
- Gao (9/5): -
- Katy (6/5): Staff are miserable and would not stay again - The location is 10/10. You are literally steps from Volcano Bay, making it easy to rope drop and stay for the entire day. We had a hiccup with the food (they lost our order), but the manager made sure we were refunded, got the food in the end, and were given free ice cream, and for this we were grateful. There is a handy shop on site with Universal merch (making buying chocolate souvenirs easy and less likely to melt), and a Starbucks with good opening hours. The pool area was ok. The bus was very good. They were frequent, and it's less than 5 minutes to City Walk/Universal.
The view from the room was okay, though it mostly showed the roof of the Cabana Bay Hotel, and the air conditioning was extremely powerful. Apart from the manager in the restaurant, who fixed our issue immediately, the staff are very abrasive. I asked a question to a staff member who was hosting the Universal tickets desk; she was colouring in a picture and didn't even look up to answer. Just kept colouring and treated me like a problem. A couple of the restaurant staff were similar to this. One morning, I asked for a paper cup to get a coffee, and an older woman made me feel like I was stealing the coffee. As you can get the same coffee in the room, I genuinely thought it was free. I hadn't even gone near the machine, and she was aggressive, saying "I needed to pay for it and that it was obviously not free."
In terms of the rooms, there's a face bar of soap, but no hand soap, which was bizarre. As mentioned, the air conditioner is powerful but loud, and we also had the ice machine outside our room, which people used at all hours, waking you up with a start. I also had hair in my bed before I'd even gone near it, so that was a bit disturbing.
It's very expensive for what you get. Maybe we were spoiled because we'd just stayed at Disney, and everyone was so welcoming and couldn't do enough for you, that when we got to Universal, we were so shocked by how miserable everyone was!
- beckykelly1102 (10/5): Fabulous hotel ! - The rooms are perfect! I was given a free upgrade to 9th floor with a theme park view room! Loved it & was able to watch fireworks from there on my first night.
The air con system is different to other resorts & made intermittent whooshing sounds (apparently that’s normal when it’s changing temperature) but once I’d gotten ear plugs from the team I slept very well. I’ve stayed at Sapphire Falls & cabana bay & their air con was silent- so this was odd but it was explained to me about the eco system used. Thank you.
The service is excellent- your employees at every corner are just wonderful. Especially the lady with red hair at the rooftop bar!
The roof top bar is my favourite bar in universal! I went every day for a glass of prosecco around 5;30 pm!
The pool scene is great.
The food is also really good/ I ate at the Rooftop bar once & the pantry for lunch twice.
The only thing which I noticed is the drinks… for the price I feel like measures are a splash! An example, to have an Aperol spritz there are specific measures it should have to be an Aperol spritz & the times I bought these drinks the Aperol was definitely not what would make a proper Aperol spritz. If you’re charging the prices, the measure should be adhered to. It was the same for margaritas. I can only assume it’s the staff training & business decision to not provide proper measures. I went to sapphire falls & Royal Pacific & used their pools & had the perfect Aperol spritz & margaritas- so it does feel it’s a hotel specific issue.
I also took advantage of being able to use the different hotel pools! It was great to return to Loews Sapphire & try out the Royal Pacific.
I took the water taxi from Loews sapphire a couple of times but I honestly enjoyed the short walk in to the parks through Sapphire ! It’s not far at all.
I’d return to this & in fact I’ll likely return next April with my daughter this time.
Thank you

- Jeannie (8/5): I would stay at Aventura again - Location is convenient; hotel is tall and compact so not a lot of walking from the elevator to the room; the room was quiet and comfortable; large dining area; when we had trouble with the AC they sent someone right away to fix it; staff was friendly and helpful. Only one check-out line in dining area so even if you're doing grab-and-go you still have to wait behind people ordering food to pay; the pool and pool bar area are just ok.
- Matthijs (9/5): -
- Kari (10/5): Pleasantly surprised, would highly recommend! - Urban Pantry was very convenient. Room was clean and well stocked. Sufficient towels, coffee, and cups. Would be nice to have more towel hooks in the toom, especially since towels aren’t replenished daily.
- Stacey (9/5): Good facilities, great transport, excellent location. - Transport to theme parks. Relay robot not working. No movie at pool area.
- SCDC3010 (10/5): Amazing hotel! Perfect stay - Fantastic stay at aventura. Lovely welcome when we got there and was given a free upgrade to the 12th floor skyline which we couldn’t thank them enough. The room was spacious and very modern. Everything was explained at the desk on how the room electrics work and the cleaners coming in every other day. We was given a map which the reception wrote down the shuttle frequencies and how to get to volcano bay which we couldn’t believe how close we was! Everything was comfortable and we really loved the touch of the fridge, safe, laundry service etc. the shuttles was one of the reason we stopped here. A lot of reviews elsewhere said shuttles weren’t frequent but at aventura they were and this was very true! We were always on one pretty much straight away or longest we waited was like 3 minutes which is really good! It’s a lot quieter the hotel which we loved even more because most people go to the themed hotels but we preferred this one over them by far. Wasn’t far from universal at all and you could see the firework show from the rooftop bar. We caught Ubers to Disney parks which were always very quick to get and cost about £20 each way which again was so much more worth doing this way as universal is the better parks! The wood fire pizza oven was amazing and urban pantry had a lot of variety. The staff especially Jen were so friendly and welcoming. I loved having the Starbucks in the lobby! The pool was really lovely and the area kept well clean. My only criticism of this and its not huge, but could do with more umbrella's around the pool and maybe umbrellas you could move. We was lucky to get a bed with one but we had to shadow chase when it got too hot or you had to move beds. The heat is hot and in the hotel it seems to increase a lot so could do with just some more spaces to cool down whilst staying around the pool. You could go to the bar but it’s not the same atmosphere as laying around the pool! The drinks on the rooftop bar weren’t so much for us. They weren’t what I would consider a cocktail but the vibe up there is so worth it for a night. We ordered takeaways a lot, after a day in the park it was nice to do and was so easy to do this on Uber eats we had no trouble what’s so ever. The shop did some great little presents and are the same price as in the parks. Would recommend staying here and when we come back again we would definitely come back and stay here again 100%
- Stacey (10/5): - Everything - location staff very friendly.

- Sonia (9/5): - La

- Cédric (9/5): -
- Christin (10/5): Universal Studios Done The Right Way - I loved everything. It exceeded my expectations Nothing
- Emanuel (10/5): Perfect for a visit to universal studios - The distance between the hotel and Vulcano bay. Free shuttle service to the parks and boardwalk. Early admission to the parks. Towels replenishment was not daily.
- petesI9445JZ (10/5): Nice hotel - highly recommended - We have just spent 2 nights at the Aventura hotel at Universal and had a very nice experience. The rooms were big enough and the beds just a nice level of firmness for us but the view (in a higher floor room) was just great. We could've sat and looked out over the parks all day.
We ate at the lobby cafe and it was good. We also had a cocktail at the bar at the top of the hotel and the views were exceptional (well worth a visit).
The staff we experienced were all good and the location (next to Sapphire Falls) makes getting to City Walk etc a pleasure. The only potential downside is that buses to Epic are shared with Cabana Bay and can get rather busy.
Overall 8/10 but 10/10 for value. Highly recommended.

- John stephens28 (10/5): Perfect all rounder - This is my goto Universal Hotel as someone with grown up children. Clean, modern, lifts and rooms are close to reception (important after a long day at the parks), busses are frequent and you can use the water Taxi too.
Great roof top bar where we witnessed the space launch.
Reception staff and bar staff are so friendly, makes you feel like home.
- Jorge (5/5): I just slept there. It was not a great night of rest. - I really appreciated the convenience of the shuttles to Universal. The pillows were the most uncomfortable I have ever slept on. I had to sleep with a couple of towels. I believe the AC filter has not had maintenance because I woke of with a horrible allergy.
- Elanie (10/5): - Everything
- sophiemW1710OL (2/5): Incorrect large payment taken from my card, be warned! - My teenage daughter and I stayed her for a week in her Easter holidays. The hotel was great for the price, good rooms, fab top floor bar/restaurant, convenient pizza on the GF and the pool was also great. All in all a great time.
My 1 star is because the day I returned, the hotel took money for my stay despite me paying up front for the holiday through UK tour operator Thomas Cook. The hotel conceded the error, but refunded me a lessor amount. Initial good communication has now ceased. I’m posting the 1 star with the aim of getting my full refund.

- ted (10/5): - Location and the view, as well as the pool Nothing
- JPT (8/5): -
- Tyrasha (8/5): - The property was convenient to the attractions, the friendliness and patience of the staff was my favorite part of the stay The rooms are dated, small restrooms, dusty rooms and floors, and house keeping every other day.
- Margaryta (10/5): -
- Liucheng (9/5): -
- Szymon (9/5): Warto - Nowoczesność Zbyt mocna klimatyzacja w strefie restauracyjnej
- kiran699 (8/5): superb - been there and it was very nice..
- Carole (9/5): Great two night break to visit the Universal theme parks during a two week holiday in Orlando. - Clean, comfortable rooms with plenty of space. Great location to the parks with excellent shuttle bus service.
Quick serve restaurant- food freshly cooked to order and very tasty. Convenient to have a Starbucks franchise in the hotel.
- Joanna (10/5): We loved this hotel! It’s clean and modern. Extremely convenient for Universal. Volcano Bay is directly behind it (5 min - Modern, clean, extremely convenient for universal. Nothing
- Bernadette (6/5): As the staff didn’t seem to very concerned about my issue, I will not stay there again. My inquiry didn’t seem to matte - Very clean and great location. I booked my room almost a year ago and my confirmation stated a room with a view. What I received was a room with an obstructed view of the roof of the parking garage and the roof of the ventilation system. When I questioned the front end staff, they said when you book through a third party, you have to say you request a room on one of the higher floors ( I was on the 5th floor) to get a room without an obstructed view. I did not see this anywhere. Very disappointed with this as it was a very important part of why I booked this hotel.
- christina (9/5): Great spot. Not super busy and crowded like some other hotels. - Very clean, staff were very friendly and accommodating, access to toasters/microwaves/ice/water/towels in main food court, Starbucks in lobby. Booked a room with a “view”. View was a parking garage and hotel roof with a view of some buildings. Don’t assume the view will be of universal!
- neiltH2998PN (10/5): Good location and a quiet hotel - We stayed at this hotel for ten nights during a busy time.
Check in was simple and Tina on the front desk was extremely helpful friendly and even gave us a generous treat when we checked in. Our room was on the 14th floor and had a view of the universal parks.
The rooms were clean and the only problem we had was our tablet that controlled the rooms lights wouldn’t charge when we arrived but was sorted within an hour of going out for essentials.
The buses to the parks were regular and the boat across the road in Sapphire Falls was very easy to use and great access to the parks.
We had a few lunches in the hotel and the food was well priced for the quality and convenience.
I stayed here with my 13 year old daughter and we would both stay here again!
- Claire (5/5): Good location but expensive for what you get. - Location to the Universal parks which also allows early entry. Free shuttle bus or you can walk depending on which park you are visiting. $30 per night to park your car in the onsite parking. There isn’t anywhere else you can park which is frustrating. By contrast, the Disney hotel we stayed at did not charge for parking.
Breakfast is either from a Starbucks or cafeteria style place which doesn’t open until 7am and is very expensive.
- Cheryl (9/5): Great hotel for the price - This was a great location if you wanted to walk across the street to catch the Water Taxi. We opted to only use the bus system once. Bathrooms are small for family. Housekeeping every other day ..

- nugenthorne_79 (10/5): Pleasantly surprised! - We moved across to this hotel after staying at the Royal pacific and were pleasantly surprised how good this hotel was!
We had a double queen deluxe room - which had a panoramic window and a fab view! We were the Cabana bay side and was lucky enough to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks!
Rooms were a good size - we liked the shower cubicle better than the bath with over shower and curtain in the Royal pacific!
There is a small fridge.
The rooftop was great for an early evening drink and watching the sunset or just stay in your room and watch it set!
Food was ok - we had noodles, pizza and again stayed in our room or you can eat in the dining area! It seemed very quiet!
Slight cons - paper cups rather than glasses and not a great deal of storage (we only stayed a night so wasn’t an issue) the pool was ok - nothing special - the water was freezing! But there was a hot tub to warm up!
We stayed here for the close proximity to Volcano Bay! All in all I would recommend this hotel for a short stay while visiting universal!
- Melissa (6/5): We weren't on the property very much so it was fine. - Convenient Not enough bathroom products. No lotion or cotton balls or stops

- Marharita (7/5): It’s ok but I will not come back to the hotel again - New renovation. Very bad breakfasts. Not including in price.
- sarahgB924NE (2/5): Disappointing Experience & Complete Lack of Accountability - I rarely write reviews, but my experience at the Aventura Resort Orlando was unacceptable and needs to be shared.
During my stay, my Louis Vuitton belt was taken from my room. What followed was even more concerning than the incident itself. I was passed between nearly 20 different staff members across security, front desk, and lost & found — with no ownership, no clear communication, and no resolution.
At multiple points, I was told “we’ll make this right,” only to later be told that because there is “no proof,” nothing can be done. That response is not only dismissive, but it completely ignores the responsibility a property has to its guests.
The issue here is bigger than a missing item — it’s the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care. When a guest raises a serious concern involving potential theft, the expectation is a coordinated, thoughtful response. Instead, I experienced deflection, inconsistency, and zero follow-through.
For a hospitality business in a major market like Orlando, this is unacceptable.
I would strongly caution others to think twice before staying here — not because issues can’t happen anywhere, but because how they are handled here falls far below any reasonable standard.

- scottyonholiday (10/5): Great stay, recommended - We stayed here for 5 nights in a room with 2 x double beds. The room is clean and has everything you need for a good stay. The room is serviced every other day with new towels etc. I do wish they also included shower gel as opposed to a bar of soap but that is just personal preference. All the staff are helpful and we enjoyed the Starbucks downstairs for breakfast. The staff there are also very friendly. The buses to the parks are frequent or you can go through Sapphire Falls Hotel to the ferry. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again.
