Loved the renovation and high quality materials of the house. It feels like a home. Super comfy beds, nice shower. Common space is awesome for board games or chats. Pit fire outside was super cozy on the cool night! Nothing, just that one night was too short.
• Edda (6/5): - Die Unterkunft war an sich sehr schön, und das Personal sehr engagiert. Die Unterkunft war von der Lage ja nicht sehr gut, im übrigen war alles sehr feucht und klamm, auch die Bettwäsche. Das Personal war sehr bemüht. Allerdings haben sie unser Zimmer leider nicht gemacht. Im übrigen waren die Zimmer sehr sehr klein, wir konnten kaum zwei Koffer unterbringen. Das Wohnzimmer, in dem wir uns aufhalten konnten, war ebenfalls sehr klein und wären alle Zimmer besetzt gewesen wäre dies untragbar.
• Thilina (10/5): - We had such a great stay at the bungalow. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for relaxing and getting away from the city. The beds were super comfy and we slept really well throughout our stay. One of the best parts was spending time by the fireplace. We had an amazing time there and it made the whole experience feel extra special. The food was amazing and honestly better than we expected. Every meal was really enjoyable. The staff are incredibly friendly and very helpful. The service was truly top class and they made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Even with the flooding and landslides happening in Sri Lanka at the time, this bungalow felt very safe. The area was not affected at all and everything was fully functional, which was very reassuring. I would 100% recommended and will definitely visit again.

• Saurabh (1/5): The Worst experince of our entire Sri Lanka vacation - It was a horror story from the beginning. We stayed at 7 different properties in our 9 day stay in Sri Lanka. This has to rank as the worst experience by a long stretch. The staff at the property have taken over the reins of the property so much so that their attitude reeks of arrogance, high handedness and open threats to their guests. The staff at the property heckled, physically charged at and intimidated my wife and I for asking for more than 1 egg!!!! For breakfast. We were told that both the menu as well as the QUANTITY of breakfast items were fixed. Why not mention that in their offering. Won't offer water the next morning as we can only get 1 500 l bottle each. Crazy place with crazy staff. We felt unsafe the entire night fearing for our well being there. If you want to avoid any mishap or misadventure to your safety and well being, avoid the property at all costs. Booking.com ought to blacklist them It was a disaster.

• Monica (7/5): Ok place to stay for a night or 2 - The place is nice and clean and warm enough at night which is this place is a good plus. The place is far from Nuawara Eliya town (1h30 walking or 20min by TukTuk to the center of town) and doesn't offer transportation to town which doesn't make it ideal. It's also located in a very steep hill, which I guess is not unusual in this area. The bathroom isn't great but the shower is ok. The staff while very nice and with good intentions are not the most efficient (on the first day we asked that they book us a Tuk Tuk to town for 15min after we arrived because we wanted to go eat, they said yes but in the end mentioned that the 2 tuk tuks that are usually in the propriety were out and just stood on the street with us waving tuk tuks down for over 30min)

We felt very uncomfortable as we were the only two and it was not at all cozy as he was talking on the phone - watching videos and listening to loud music. No privatcy at all ! Very little toilet paper- no extra roll. Breakfast egg was served cold and very dry toasts A very tiny room. Could not open two suitcases at the same time. Furthermore the access was very steep and our driver was very nervous to go up there by car

He chose this place for Christmas Eve and were spoiled by the staff who went an extra mile for us to feel comfortable and special for the occasion. We received surpise desserts and extra attention. Although there were more guests staying at the same time, it felt like we were the only ones. Highly recommend.

• Mirand (9/5): Superb - The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly the person (young boy ) who served and helped us with everything. From preparing delicious breakfasts and dinners to assisting with luggage, providing information about the area, ordering tuk-tuks, and much more. Given that this bungalow is not easy to reach, I truly hope the owner compensates him fairly for all they do, which is practically everything. The bungalow is very nicely decorated. Feels like home. The place is not easy to reach, and Google Maps might get confused for the last 1.5 km. The road is uphill and narrow, so Pick Me and Uber often refuse to come there. However, you can walk downhill and wait for a ride at the main road, where they are accepted. To find the shortcut to the road from the property, ask the helpful staff member, and they will show you the way

Although the bungalow is located a few kilometers away from the city, its serene and peaceful surroundings make it absolutely worth the stay.

The rooms were cosy and the bed was super comfy! The staff were excellent and attended to our every need. The rooms were carpeted which was convenient. Heater available. The power went out twice. It took a while for the generator to get going. Not ideal since I was with a toddler and an infant. The water heater runs out of hot water in about 4 mins. The WiFi was super slow.

The road leading up is abit derelect and the drive way to the house is very steep. There is also no stairs from driveway to the house and not very friendly for those who may have disabilities or back issues.

The room had everything we needed, even hot water - only a hairdryer would have been nice to have. We enjoyed entering the room after a whole day of sightseeing. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty, although the selection could be larger. Frank was a godsend when our car broke down. Without him, we wouldn't have been able to arrange a mechanic. He ordered tuk-tuks for us and stayed to organize technical help. We highly recommend this place!

I didn’t expect all of this for what we paid and honestly I was impressed at the end of the day. It’s down a very very steep path. It’s not immediately shown when looking at the property which is a bit of a concern especially if you have a car that can’t pull up a steep lane and a personal opinion here but I didn’t like the fact that you had to order off a menu rather than ordering ad-hoc with whatever they had.

Located uphill and the leading road is very narrow and filled with holes. Once arrived at the bungalow it is impossible to go down at nighttime even for a small trip to the town. Room less comfortable than expected. No nice views.
