Guest Reviews
- Nigel (7/5): Cheap and cheerful - Close to centre. Good parking It was fine for the price
- ADRIAN (7/5): Basic value for money accommodation in good location - A good value for money accommodation. Cold Breakfast and toast has good selection. Pub offering food and EV charging, a chinese, chip shop and mini market are all just across the road. Bus stop to Oxford just outside the property. Easy walk in to Bicester which is served with plenty of pubs and restraunts of all types Bracket for Shower head was very low in our room (1) meaning you had to hold it above yourself.
Basic accommodation, but good value for money. If you want a little more luxury, be prepared to pay more.
- chelsea (6/5): Great for a last minute trip - It is close to bicester shopping village which is why we booked. The three beds and private bathroom in one room was a bonus. Great big drive at front so parking was not a problem. Great communication on how to check in. Big kitchen for a serve yourself style breakfast. 45 minute drive to “ clarksons farm” we managed to get a last minute reservation We didn’t find the beds comfortable 2 out of 3 of us had no sleep. The springs felt like they were poking out everywhere. The duvets were paper thin with one lumpy pillow. The bathroom was practical but needed a bit of extra cleaning. Theres tiny little steps which could do with hazard tape to visually indicate there was a few trip ups. (The cctv will of caught a fall on outside steps 7.40 ish if the owners want a laugh)

- Trudy (7/5): -
- Claire (3/5): Average - Location Unclean
- Benedict (6/5): Overnight hostel Vs B&B (Function Vs Form) - Clean, comfortable, does what it says it does (think Dulux paint advert). Quiet during "quiet hours" see rules of the building.
Functional for what is needed, basic. Similar to a hostel feel. No staff contact. Felt more like a hostel, do it yourself, than a B&B. CCTV cameras on shared areas omnipresent.
Room faced the road, so you either had no fresh air or passing traffic noise from outside, if you opened the window.
Small details re finishing touches to maintanance work were missing e.g. in the bathroom there are many holes visible where previous fixtures/fittings have been but now removed so wall plugs remaining. Similarly for downstairs kitchen area.
Shower was power-shower but no consistent hot water, often running cold. So sink washing was preferred as hot water supply good, but limited on coverage re wash. Basin plug missing, I carry my own.
- Anne (10/5): Good value for money - The cleaness The neatness
- Kevin (8/5): Nice for a nite or 2, good value - Place to eat and drink. Next door , shops near by, parking for bug van It was grand

- Tokiroy (8/5): My weekend away in Bicester 😃😁 - It was a nice little cosy traditional bed and breakfast villa. I was quite surprised at the way the space has been utilised with the ensuite system in every room. The description of what the establishment offers was so spot on, exactly what it says on the tin😁
The staff lady was very good likewise. Very efficient and kind.
The whole combination culminated in a brilliant weekend away for me.
I am very happy with the overall service and would book the place again when I visit Bicester. I will be recommending it also to all my friends. Everything.

- mcr4boro (8/5): - Great location, exactly as described. Good room and bathroom. Quilts were very thin and there was no extra bedding. Even with the little heater we were cold.
- Phelps-Patey (9/5): - Room was clean and bed lovely and comfortable with very clean bedding. I would have liked the option of fruit and croissants at breakfast.
- Kim (5/5): - I was attending a wedding so location was great as only 10 min drive. I saw no one at the house. Everything was self service with a code for the front door. Clean basic good value for the price I paid
- Elisa (9/5): -
- Susan (7/5): Fantastic location for the train as went to Wembley stadium. Easy walking distance to centre. - Good location. Beds comfy. Basic continental breakfast. Could not find free WiFi as advertised The breakfast could have been better.
- Carol (8/5): Very good value for money. - Good location about three minutes to Bicester Village. Our room was clean and basic but had all that we needed for one night stay. Tea, coffee, juice plus breakfast cereals and bread for toast was available in kitchen area at all times.
- Callum (10/5): - Nice clean property
Would definitely use again
- Kate (8/5): -
- Graham (8/5): Simple hostel style accommodation - Simple hostel style accommodation ok for a night or two. Less than 45 minutes drive from Silverstone. Clean and simple, walls are thin so as long as your fellow guests are respectful as you then no issue. Non smart TV - only Freeview
- Trevor (8/5): - Easy to get to Clean and tidy. Good value for money. Nothing to dislike.
- Shelagh (7/5): - Didn't have any. Curtains didn't shut light out properly.
- Connor (7/5): It was exactly what we needed for a short stay! - Location was excellent! Bed mattress was not the best - not comfortable to sleep on.
- vishal (5/5): -
- Laure (8/5): -
- Lucy (3/5): -
- Darren (7/5): Single night in Bicester - Clean room. Thin duvet with option to double up if needed (too many places give you a 15tog duvet in summer). Breakfast was quite good considering the price paid. Parking available on the front. Check in simple. Surprisingly quiet. Good value for money. Basic but worth considering again. Floor and bed very creaky - walking on eggshells to not disturb other guests. Shower head placed low, as for a young child. Lights above bed didn't work.
All minor points really.
- Dave (8/5): - Parking, clean and comfortable room
- Anthony (1/5): Never staying again - Nothing Dirty quilt cobwebs all over the room dirty marks on wall disgusting place to stay continental breakfast was cheap aldi cereal
- Peter (8/5): Adequate - Location Soulless
- irene (10/5): the stay was good but the tv needs sorted out - the room was perfect clean fresh the tv did not work properly it did not stay on a channel kept flickering went off the automatic came on it just kept flickering the signal was bad, when i have stayed in that room before the tv was ok but not this time
- Denco (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- arvydas (8/5): -
- Rachel (9/5): - Clean and quiet
- Kevin (8/5): Cheap and cheerful - ideal for a work stayover - No-frills but great value for money for a work stayover. Property is clean, bed comfortable and useful facilities for preparing food. It’s five minutes from my office too, which is a real bonus TV in room 5 needs replacing as it switches itself on and off at random. Also supply of milk/cereal and clean crockery is a little erratic although it wasn’t too much of an issue to pop into the local Co-op for a pint of milk
- Nick (7/5): -
- Ray (8/5): - Have stayed at location for several weeks off an on for work clean presentable comfy beds tea coffee facilities great location for shops and greening across rd for food People slamming front door
- Ray (8/5): - Great value for money clean tidy pub across rd for lunch or dinner
And local shops across road People Slamming front door
- Prashaan (7/5): Good value - I like the ease of check in. And location. As well as free parking. Room was clean. Beds were not very comfortable, suited for kids, including the size of bathroom. This room is more for people under 5.11.
- Wright (10/5): -
- popovici (8/5): -
- Wright (10/5): -
- Wright (10/5): -
- Charlie (5/5): Good stay room need work - The room was spacious and comfortable Room looked like it hadn't been dusted in ages and the chrome and shower glass needs cleaning and to fit under the shower fully you need to be 4ft tall
- Wright (10/5): -
- vishal (6/5): - Wifi signal is very weak on the first floor, Nearly impossible to access to internet from the room.
- Dave (8/5): -
- Trevor (7/5): A very good straight forward B and B. Perfect for a short stay. - Good choice of cereals. Toast option available. Kitchen and dinning area spotlessly clean and tidy. Bedroom windows not double glazed.
- Rachel (10/5): Perfect place near Bicester village - It’s was cosy and clean. Close to shops and pub right opposite. N/A
- Dave (8/5): -
- Jess (7/5): -
- Maria Teresa (8/5): - Near my son's accommodation A sink by tables and paper towels by the eating area would be helpful.
- Richard (10/5): -
- Rolly (10/5): Very much appreciated for the comfortable stay. God bless lovely Susie. - Very accessible to all areas. Owner was so friendly and accommodating.
- Ryan (8/5): -
- Lisa (7/5): Great for a short stay - The convenience of been very close to Bicester Village. Hard to get hot water.
A kettle in the room would be a bonus.
- Paul (8/5): Well priced lovely stay. - Clean and well maintained Tv remote worked when it wanted to.
- Richard (8/5): Excellent - It was brilliant stay at ava
- Paul (6/5): It was convenient bed a bit uncomfortable - Location to centre of town free parking Bathroom cold only one electric heater in room would’ve. Preferred upstairs room
- Cloud Global Services (7/5): -
- Joe (9/5): -
- Julie (7/5): As expected, Gould quality - Didn’t have any breakfast Didn’t have any breakfast
- Samantha (10/5): -
- Sherman (7/5): -
- Rebecca (1/5): More suited as a half way house than a guest house - The ability to book somewhere for 10 of us in one place No where to get water other than the 2 jugs provided for everyone staying - 13 in total
Bedroom 6 comes directly off of the dining area with very thin walls which meant being disturbed by someone in the area at 3am and then being woken by someone making tea and watching videos on their phone at 630am.
Not enough cups for the amount of people staying
Mirrors not hung just propped on the floor.
A double bed with only a single duvet on it!
One small towel each with no additional hand towels in bathrooms
Beds either rock solid or so soft you had to stop yourself rolling in to each other, or covered in plastic
You pay for what you get, it worked out at £28pp so if you want a rubbish night's sleep and to be woken in the early hours by guests using the 'dining area', cereal and toast as the breakfast then this is the place for you but bring your own bottles of water and mugs!
- Elliot (10/5): - Perfect parking All was great
- Daniel (2/5): I would never stay here again and would strongly recommend if you want to feel welcome do not stay here - The location The host was very rude and hostile. There was damp in the bathroom. It was not a nice place to stay because of the host
- Chris (8/5): Great little place just bring a pillow that’s literally the only downside - Super cheap , great facilities for money mattress was comfy wash room was lovely good pressure super hot shower if needed tv and fridge was silent enough to not disturb you Pillow was non existent basically. I’ve stayed in hostels and random huts all round world and hand on heart the worst pillow I’ve ever used it was like a case filled with air and nothing i woke up with serious neck ache if it wasn’t for that literally perfect
- Titilayo (8/5): Value for money. - Value for money. Location was a lot further away from where I was visiting compared to description. A fan would have been nice in the room as well because the weather was hot.
- Marie (5/5): If you want a good sleep the bed was amazing. - The bed was really comfortable and parking. The shower was too low and the bathroom needs a make over.
The breakfast was advertised as diy continental but was very cheap bread, and stale cheap cereal. There was a microwave but nothing to cook in it and no tap if you wanted water just two filter jugs. Also the cups were flimsy plastic. There is a lack of allergen information. The only tea was decaf and there wasn’t any decaf coffee. The whole place really needs a good paint and tidy. Maybe change the breakfast offer.
- Stephen (7/5): - ava guest house was exactly as described & suited our needs entirely. We needed a bed for the night, an early start & hopefully breakfast. All met On our arrival we had to call to gain entry & in spite of a language barrier the person on the phone was very helpful thus adding to our experience the confirmation e-mail arrived to my phone on the day of our arrival, which under normal circumstances would have been fine, unfortunately we arrived by m/bike in the absolute pouring rain without a thought to look on my phone for an e-mail on how to get in. please see likes for resolution
- Patrick (9/5): Thoroughly enjoyec - Very clean, relaxed and value for money Maybe need bath mats and fans
- Big (6/5): -
- Sarah (8/5): - I stay here for work and leisure once a month. Its clean with all you need in a good location. Staff are responsive and professional.
- Cynthia (7/5): -

- Penelope (10/5): -
- Siti (7/5): - the location it took a while to warm up the room so we were freezing on our first night.
- Roslynn (8/5): Comfy bed good facilities... clean - Location and price. Tv twice now in same room dosent work. Reported this last time
- A. Ade (10/5): - Great landlady. Location just right.
- Sorensen (9/5): Great place to stay if you visit Bicester - clean, good location, parking and competitively priced - Location, parking, access and cleanliness all at a competitive price for the location. Shower could be a bit better, but not an issue.
- Craig (8/5): Clean, comfortable enough for a short stay when considering the price of the accomodation - Good location for our visit. Room was basic, but that's to be expected for the price paid. Nice to have a fridge provided in the room, but the min thing is that the room and property was clean. Quite a bit of noise transfers through the property, but again for the price paid that's not an issue.
- Denco (10/5): - Room was warm & cosy
The radiator warmed up quickly
The bed was super soft. I couldn't get the toaster to work
- Aisling (6/5): -
- Karena (8/5): -
- julie (6/5): good location for the station - The proximity to the train station. We have stayed here before and its very easy for self serve breakfast in the morning. Also as many cups of tea/Coffee that you wish available in the kitchen. Directly opposite a pub serving good food and with a sports tv. nothing
- JUNYU (10/5): -
- Andrew (6/5): - Close to work N/a
- Winifred (8/5): - Room was clean & warm. Kitchen/diner open 24/7 to make tea & coffee etc. Always plenty of fresh milk, teabags, coffee, sugar, bread etc. Good location. Pub serving meals is facing the B&B plus chip shop & grocery store behind it. Quiet area and well lit streets so felt safe walking around on my own.
